Thanks for the comment. Part #29 is the video in which we had to retrieve a drop egr flange bolt that fell into the exhaust pipe. It is a small 7min video showing the extra long grab tool that we had to use. It is part of the build series and not at the same time. Thanks for the comment. Sorry for the delay. The issue with the old harness was that when we badged in, the system would not activate the ignition and the beep from the module was slow and low toned.

@@solargarage ah, odd. See I had an issue with my original harness that if I remote started mine, it'd every now and then act like I've already put my foot on the brakes and pressed the button to start it without me being in the car leaving me with no way to turn it off, as my button was locked out and it wont scan when the car's fully started, other than killing the fuel pump and pulling the battery cable to let it die. I've got the new one just a few days ago so here's hoping the physical switch makes any chance of that happening again a little easier to deal with

If the express is a 2013-2019 then yes should be pretty close top the same. You may or may not need the door modules as the existing modules may work once the options are turned on.

Thanks for the comment. For the Gas gauge we did not have to adjust anything, it read the fuel level correctly from the start.

@@rogerstewart5140 Ah ok, so this is the estimated or mpg calculation. I thought we were referring to the gauge. For the MPG, the cluster will correct itself overtime as the cluster gets data from your truck and starts to calculate accordingly.

Agreed, have been keeping an eye on this since the rebuild. It could very well be some bearing wear as in the later videos, oil samples sent to lab are showing a bit higher than normal wear metals on the first change after break in. We have done a 2nd change of the oil since and also sent that to the lab in order to get a comparison of the two to see if the wear metals are increasing or just the result of break in. We switch over to 0w-40 after the first break in change and currently pressures have remained stable. But we will know more after the second lab results come back. Engine is running great currently with no sings or sounds of anything wrong.

@@solargarage when building did you check the clearances of the rods and crankshaft? for a high power application while at idle being in the mid to low 20s dont seem great for the engine. what does the oil pressure go to when you come of idle?

@@BrittanyMartin917 Yes, the machine shop took in account the 8psi boost from the pro-charger. They used a higher end set of cam and crank bearing knowing we were going boosted. Currently idle oil pressure while at temp is 35psi and with the throttle up at also at temp it can get as high as 65psi.

Thanks for the comment. I have not found a setting to keep the puddle/approach light on while the headlights are on. This set of side views does not have a switchback function in the turn signal section. The manufacture does make a version that contains switchbacks in the turn signal section that can be made to be on with the headlights.

Not that I am aware of without splicing as having the running lights in the side mirrors was not an option in early models. Most of the kits as you have seen to get the turns to act as running lights, i.e. switchbacks requires running a wire from a 12V source that is active when the lights are on.

@@supermaga5351 Neither do I, that is why on our 2012 1500 install I left the running light option off and just kept the turns and puddles.

Hello, yes you will need to enable the settings, if your current factory mirrors do not currently have turn or puddle lights.

Hello, I can try and give a few items to look at. There are many items that can cause a loss of oil pressure. If the pump was replaced with a high volume and the issue persists, then if could be a bad pickup tube to pump seal, blockage, or failing bearings in low end or cam. If I may ask why was the cam and passenger lifers replaced? If it was due to lifter failure this issue with the 6.4 is that on the gas engine there is an internal oil cooler and oil passages that can get clogged up with metal and these areas can not be cleaned out. Was just the passenger lifters replaced? You can try dropping the lower pan and looking for metal in the pan, oil, and or filter. Also look at the lower bearings for wear. Cam bearings inspection would be a bit harder as the cam would need to come out. To be honest since it has had some of the top end rebuilt already and you have 190K miles on it, it might be better to get a some type of replacement or crate rebuild.

Hello, thanks for the comment. Yes the front bracket for the center console is secured to the dash via a set of bolts that thread into a set of snap nuts. As we did here you can always use standard nuts in lieu of the snap nuts.

If I recall correctly the center console I got from EBay for approx $1,200.00. This included the console, brackets, mounting hardware and trim pieces. You can get them cheaper, but you need to watch what is included with them.

I finally was able to add the puddle lights, and turn signals to my tow mirrors that I installed 8 years ago..lol. Next on the list is to install and program my 7" cluster gauge.

Thanks for the comment. It would not be to hard to go from a console to a jump seat. You would need the correct jump seat option, dash trims, cup holder, center seat mounting hardware, and lap belt for the center seat that attaches to the drivers seat,

Thanks for the comment. Correct that I did not point out the piston height in this video. As this 6.4 is still using stock pistons and connecting rods. As these components are stock and no machining has been done to the block or heads, we are safe to use the height in which it ends up being when using the timing marks on the crank gear with the marks on the chain and cam phaser. As the lower crank gear is keyed to the crank we know the relation of the crank and thus travel of the piston is good. Now if we had machine work done to the block, heads and or are using non factory pistons or connecting rods then we would need to take measurements for valve clearance.

It doesnt i jus installed in my 23 scat charger. With start button disabled remote start starts then jus activate system with keyfob then press start button like normal then drive

Pushing on the center bolt is fine. The issue as you will see, when we get the steering wheel removed is that the center splined section of the steering wheel get struck onto the steering column.

You can use compustar and drone to recreate ghost lock. Use Aux functions. You can wire it to when you arm your alarm, it will automatically turn your fuel pump off

That is my thought as well. The only issue would be 2009 - 2012 they would be different from the 2013 - 2019 setups.
