Just purchased this exact model in White. Review is spot on. Even reaction to interior color. Really does drive like a smaller vehicle. Still feels luxurious on the inside and extremely quiet on the road. Sound system is impressive. Engine has perfect amount of power.
I drive a Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, but I fell in love with my mom's 2001 Ford Econoline conversion van. It has the 4.6L V8, and is really nothing special. It's in very rough cosmetic shape. The seats are torn, carpeting smudged, panels rattling off, and rust showing everywhere underneath and in spots on the body. But the thing is a damn workhorse. It's big, spacious, comfy, smooth, reliable (265,000 miles, and still going) and the throttle puts a grin on my face for the first 10ft.
It's low on power, but high in practicality in all ways except for gas. I never see them anywhere, but there are probably lots for sale for cheap, and I'm sure lots of people could appreciate having one as basically a lower-level, livable RV, with plenty of spare parts around for future maintenance.
It's good, and the reason I'm looking at this expedition is to have that next step up, although I will miss the fold-down bed in the Econoline.
I own an expedition, and what I can say is the thing is a beast although I have the Triton 5.4 V8
Alex Maggi You should drive an expedition with the 3.5 ecoboost. My dad went from a 2007 expedition with a 5.4 to a 2017 expedition with the 3.5 ecoboost and the 3.5 ecoboost absolutely transforms the truck.
They are built like a tank and quality is Amazing!!!

I own a tuned 2008 Eddie Bauer Expedition with the 5.4L and an unturned '15 Expedition EL Platinum with the 3.5L Ecoboost. I can do a boosted start with the 5.4 and still get gapped by an unboosted start from the 3.5L. You drive a 3.5L Ecoboost once and you realize the 5.4L is a lazy, slow, weak engine.

Hey Rob, i have an 07 Expedition. Would you know what's the best method to use to achieve a 3" lift? I want to put 33" tires on it. Mostly city driven but would like the occasional off road trip every now and then.

The couple holders on the left is to have less objects blocking the drivers ability to see out of the back right window, same thing with the defrost, my 16 navigator only has the right rear back window has defrost

I have almost the exact build as this but only mine is a '15. Same interior and exterior color, I have the 22" wheel option and 2nd row bench. I live up in Canada and the power deployed running boards are probably my least favourite thing on the truck. I agree that when they are in it looks clean and sleek but once you get down around 30 degrees they don't work. Also if you get outdoors a lot they get gummed up with dirt and dust then you have to clean and lube them to get them working again.
