How to make the Test Pilot Cocktail

This is the first episode where I explore what I am calling "Lost Cocktails". Periodically I will pluck a cocktail recipe from obscurity and profile it for your enjoyment. Today I am looking at the Test Pilot, an interesting cocktail developed by Don Beach circa 1941. It has an unusual flavor profile and uses some ingredients that are not very common these days.
