If you're close to the rpm to match when down shifting motorcyle gear boxes, it will down shift no problem with no clutch. I know this is the case with street bikes and dirt bikes but thats all I really have experience riding and racing. Cheers
2:32 a comment on this: you can pull the car out of gear without using the clutch, it is not stuck in that gear, if you are quick enough about it you will not even notice it (of course not while you are accelerating). That is why iracing simulates it going into neutral... In order to put it into gear you have to use the clutch, or you have to 100% perfectly match the engine rpm to the gearbox rpm so that it goes in without blowing up (you have one try ;) )
Yes. If you're driving a car with a sequential, your upshifts are going to be very slow in comparison to going clutchless. You'll be a hair slower in a car like the MX-5 than you would be without assists.
I have a weird thing happening with my iracing. I can only use dirt sprint cars. Every other car I choose has me sitting in the pit box with the brake stuck on? I cant race any car right now except the dirt sprint cars? Any ideas?

Hello, a tourism car like the Audi RS3 LMS which transmission does it have? It does not let me downshift at will.. do I have to blip it all the time?
