I surf small waves most of the time. ( Netherlands, Europe). My absolute favorite pick here is the torq podmod in 6.6 . Also ride a Lib hydra, but find it less maneuvrable.
MINI SIMMONS, I have a hydrodynamica with twin fin keel with a square tail and a step deck with a flat chopped nose. They can handle tiny tiny waves and big rolling points.
I picked up surfing again a couple of years ago. I'm on the East Coast of the US and surf terrible small waves 90% of the time I'm in the water. Right now I am riding an 8'0" MF Beastie Soft Top. I'm getting more consistent on it and would like to add another board to my quiver to start learning some turns. Which of these boards do you think would be the best for that? Thanks and love this vids.
I’m in same situation as you ( but I am probably older). Got back into surfing here in South Carolina after many years out. I am on a 7.0 egg shape midlength now after couple years sup surfing and then last 6 months back in prone. I surfed another guy’s Sweet Potato in small mushy stuff last week and loved it! I am only 150lbs and the Sweet Potato was in theory too big for me ( 5’ 10” mid 40 litres) but caught small waves easily. Thinking about getting one.

@@johanmaritz9849 I'm pretty old. Turn 50 next summer. I'm 5'8" 200lbs so I need the extra volume. Thanks!
