How Safe Is Starlink Internet?

- Satellite is the only option for some people to get internet, but it can come with its own EMF issues.
Using an inexpensive am radio can help you identify how much DE is your home.
Want to check the dirty electricity in your home with a meter? I recommend the EMI meter from Greenwave: greenwavefilters.com/partners...
Use the code COOKE5 to save 5%.

Great video. I've been wondering about this for awhile.
Thank you!
Greenwave filters filter only the hot wire, so is that actually a good solution? Versus a filter that filters both hot and neutral?
Thank you! Did you put the starlink router into "bypass"mode after you hardwired it?
Hello:) I am wondering what a green shield is? Is this through bio geometry? If I use these shields do I need to hardwire the internet?
It’s not the router it’s the switch mode psu. The filter will have a couple of capacitors to filter out those unwanted voltages on the power line. The rf on the Wi-Fi router is such low power that it has no interference effect unless you are running very sensitive equipment like a radio telescope and have not installed a rf blocking filter.
Great Video. Starlink does make an Ethernet adapter for their router. Haven't browsed inside the router to see if WiFi can be disabled.
I believe it depends on the model you have. I think the older ones could be but don't think the newer ones can be, at least the last time I checked
I added a hardwired router only to my starlink and there is no wifi signal or EMF coming from the router any more - no need to cover it up. Figured this out reading reddit and communicating with Starlink.
Very nice. Thank You for sharing. Wouldn't the ethernet-over-power adapters re-introduce emf into the homes electrical wiring? I did not know there was a way to disable the wireless coming out of the starlink router, that is great!
Some of the powerline adapters can yes, the Netgear ones that I've been using have been testing very well though.
Did you plug the filter into the outlet and then the router into the filter port? I see 2 options when on the green wave site.
No, I plugged the filter into a different outlet altogether.
Where is the cloth that you are using from? I'm renting a house right now that includes Internet so I can't turn off the wifi. I unplug it at night but would like to get something to cover it during the day.
It's the Swiss Shield Naturell, I by it on the roll. There are other options you can find here: safelivingtechnologies.com/products/emf-shielding-fabric/. You can use my code WHBH-5 to save 5%
How is the rf from the outside unit to the router? You mentioned it won't let you wire that. I'm considering a property with this and concerned I cannot control the device they put outside the unit to connect to. I'll wire to the router but is the outside unit sending strong signal at the router? Does it pulse like a smart meter? Thank you!!!!
Unfortunately, this is not so easy to measure. The dish they send you will capture the satellite beam, and then send that information into your home via a wire. In theory it shouldn't be that much of a problem, but the dirty electricity it produces may be.
@@cathycookeHi, why can‘t you mesure the radiation from the dishy. The satelite is radiating to the dishy. So there must be a higher radiation in your home now. How much is it? Did you check it before and after activating the dishy? 🤗
Hi Namaste ty ✌️ what kind of instrument is that ty
I am using an Owon Oscilloscope in this video
What is a Greenwave filter and can anybody purchase one and install it?
You can buy Greenwave filters here, but you really want to have testing done to verify their effectiveness and if they're even needed: greenwavefilters.com/partners/332/
Hi, do you know what kind of Rf meter we can use to measure the power density of Starlink signals? The Safe and Sound Pro2 only detects up to 5 GHz and their mmWave frequency range only starts at 20 GHz. So there's a big gap between those two meters and Starlink's frequency fits right in between at around 10,95-12,7 and 14-14,5 GHz. Every EHS person is concerned there's nowhere to hide from Starlink's EM radiation, but how strong is their signal? Should we really be worried? I'd love to actually be able to measure that power density and my meters are blind to those frequencies
yeah this is a tough one. As far as I know there is a consumer level meter that can measure this
@@cathycooke So are you saying there is one? Which one please?
@@Torito1774 well there is professional equipment like the NARDA, but you're going to pay many thousands of dollars for something like that. www.narda-sts.com/en/
@@cathycooke Thank you for making it clear. Regular folks are prohibited from knowing what is really going on around them. The prices are not even displayed on their webpage
Does Starlink protect PC from viruses?
What about RF?
typical RF from a router - high as usual
