How is this the only video I could find of the cheats in this game?! Seriously, it's been 16 years and only one person has made a video on how to get these cheats.
Not to mention if there's any videos on youtube where a player has any of these cheats enabled, never seen what big head mode looks like in this game whatsoever.
It's 2023. This video was posted in 2010 and somehow this is still the best and most helpful video on UA-cam for activating these cheats. I have serious doubts as to whether the guy who posted this video still sees his comments, but thank you, mysterious R&C1 fan.
To clarify what the invincibility cheat does, activating it won't give you that immediately. You have to pick Nanotech WHILE you're at max health. You can tell how long it lasts by watching the healing animation looping onto Ratchet. Hope this helps.
@samantha6661000 If you activate the hologuise and enter the blackwater city race, then stand near some crates so they are offscreen but near you. Then, use the taunter and the crates will constantly break and respawn infinitely. Just tape down the circle button and leave the game on overnight, or something, and you should have more bolts than you can ever want
@@TomGibson. im late to respond but yes in og non greatest hits version of Ratchet and Clank using the hologuise and entering the race would freeze it and let the player walk around on the map. However ps3 HD took that out and made it so you needed the out of bounds decoy bomb glitch to get onto the race map

To everyone wondering - Trippy Contrails makes the trail of flying ships lot longer and that's all it does. This is best seen in Rilgar IMO.

That's technically not a cheat code but rather it's just the debug mode.

Wait you can just use the hologuise and enter normally? I’d been using a slope intercept to get out of bounds and glide down

I already do the step cheat for the health at max gives temporary invincibility , but it have nothing happen....zzzzz
Don't try to input the cheats quickly or else they won't work.
i know this was the first RC game.. but they should've made these cheats unlockable via the pause menu, rather than inserting the code during gameplay
Don't worry. Ones you have inserted the code ones. You will be able to toggle them off and on in the pause menu.

i managed to somehow unlock the trippy contrails cheat by fluke... but i don't even know what that actually does :S

Pfff... those built in cheats are lame. I got Cheat Engine running on my ps2 emulator suckers, so now I get infinite health, ammo, and bolts
