I have mine double stick taped right to my chassis....and I miss a lot of laps. Never knew it works best mounted off the chassis. I bought it used with instruction which probably would have mentioned proper installation. Now I have to find a new place to mount it. I run a 1/14 scale buggy so space is very limited. 5:30 its over 100 fucking dollars. its more, MUCH MORE, of a pain in the ass to pay several hundred dollars just to race. i can manage. also if the wire breaks just from you moving the transponder between cars then your doing something wrong.

Yes, it all resides with your race director. They will tie your name to the identifier.

Agreed, its stupid expensive, its just a patent thing as well so they can change whatever the heck they want.
