Your cadence seems quite high, certainly faster than a leisure ride, perhaps this is your usual way of riding. Another excellent, informative review, thank you.
Another very helpful video of yours. This is the third video of yours that I watched today. What power mode were you using for this ride? (I think you said, but I cannot recall.) And what kind of rack box do you have mounted on your back rack? Looks good. I saw a picture of your bike with the rack box in another video. What a great ride this was! 153km! You got great exercise. I think you certainly got your money's worth because you will get really good exercise and very pleasurable riding for many years to come.
flyshacker I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the videos. I used TOUR mode exclusively. The 140% support is ideal for long rides. It’s a good balance between efficiency and support. The rack bag is a Rixen Kaul which uses the KLICKfix attachment method. It’s very easy to snap on and off and you can move it forwards or backwards on the rack, unlike the MIK attachment method which comes with the bike. With the Superdelite I’m now planning several long tours which were out of range previously. It’s great exercise and oxygen for the brain! Cheers!
Ruirodtube Roloff, 1125 power, GX but with normal tyres, frontrack, fox suspension, kiox cockpit. The bike is fantastic, what a ride. Very comfortable with the front/rear suspension. You are right: this bike has stamina. Quality is very high with top components everywhere. Next week I start commuting to work. I mounted my iphone 11 pro with a mount and wedge from SP Connect. So i put my powerbank in the wedge to charge the phone. I ordered GT54 panniers from Arkel. I have a Vaude Silroad L bag on the rear rack for my Neverain rainsuit and charger etc.
Have you tried cycling for a long time at a high speed, say 40kmh? I want to use this bike for commute and so need to cycle at high speed in order to not take all day to get to work. My commute distance is around 53 km per ride. I live in the Netherlands so no hills here.
Hi Michael, I haven't tried it because my bike is a pedelec 25 (electric support up to 25 Km/h only). That being said, I'm quite sure that the 1125 Wh optional battery capacity will support your daily commutes, even at higher speeds. One word of caution: the Vario 380 transmission might not provide sufficient gear range for high speed commuting. I would recommend you test one before buying it. Cheers!
With pedalac at 25 kmh with no stop will easily cover 25 to 30 miles in one hour! I have Kalkhoff 600watt battery i managed 26 km in 50 minutes once but i did use ultra boost for few hills. And this used up 18% of power capacity. Full range indicates 180km. Its got shiamano alfine 8 internal hub gear and belt drive. I think the new bosch gen 4 motors are more than capable and belt drive with any internal gear system will be good on level road. My impression of my bike is i dont need speed of more than 30 kmh especially in city or cycle paths. Warning we aren't suppose to take licensed high speed cycles on cycle paths in europe!
Hi, unfortunately the seat is not very comfortable and my butt is sore after a 6 hours ride. I'm thinking about changing it. I took a look at the M1 Spitzing R Pedelec and I would be prudent before purchasing it. The motor is from one brand (TQ), the battery is from another brand (M1), the head unit is unknown, the controller is unknown, the software is unknown. These parts should be from one manufacturer to avoid problems. Also, the bike will be heavy for mountain biking. Have you tested it? I would strongly advise you to test before purchasing it.
Ruirodtube I know the M1 Spitzing, has been on the go for a few years..I was trying find some genuine people, who tried the R Pedal Dec..I like your video n this bike...best wishes to you..
Sorry to hear about that Roeland. A top-end bike like the Superdelite shouldn’t give you so much grief. What’s the dealer saying? I saw a posting from another rider with battery problems initially and after the second battery replacement he found out there were some burnt electrical connections and replacing those solved the problem. It might be that you have a similar problem. Please let me know how the repairs are going.
@@ruirodtube Bosch said its a bike problem as the error refers to external power sources (I did not install anything extra). The only external power sources are the light and the Rohloff. So its a RM issue to solve this. My dealer cannot get access to the RM helpdesk (overloaded). I am really fed up with the RM service (none) so far. In the mean time I cannot use my bike.
The dealer found the problem. An internal cable from the headlamp was damaged and had to be replaced. Crazy this can happen on a €9000 bike after 500km. I am not impressed with the german quality of Riese Muller so far and disappointed of the support the factory provides to their dealers (which was none, support desk not available by phone and email for the dealer)
@@Lordoftheflatbush I hear you! I’m glad that they found the root cause and could fix it. Let me know if you plan to ride in Luxembourg and I’ll join you! Have fun!
So it was a Supernova M99 frontlight problem? An expensive part as well that shouldn't fail. However, good that your dealer could solve that problem and hopefully no more problems with that eBike in the comming years.
I'm happy with the Cube for off-roading. In fact I'm preparing to ride it today. The R&M is dedicated to long-distance bike-touring which I can't do with the Cube. :-)
Update: the 625 battery of my new Super Delite is dead and has to be replaced after 400km from new. I am very unsatisfied so far of the quality of this expensive bike and the guarantee policy of Riese Muller (guarantee limited to the dealer where you bought the bike).
Very impressed by the range of this bike. Nice video, keep up the good work!
Thanks! 👍
Thank you for sharing! very informative.

AoToGo, I usually keep a cadence around 70-80. Mid-motor e-bikes assist better at high cadence and I got used to it.
Very informative, thank you

I am also Dutch and have a 160 km range in tour mode with 1125 batteries and a cruising speed of 35km/h on average.
Roeland van Delzen excellent!
How do you like the bike? Which options did you select?

Great video. I would like to ask you how you found the Enviolo gear range, at 380% too narrow, or perhaps not?

Yes its possible to keep a 40kmh speed but in practice the avg speed will not exceed 30kmh due to traffic circumstances.
You must have comfortable seat...to ride so far..what's your thoughts on the M1 Spitzing R Pedal Deck..

awesome range! and what is the max speed you can get on it? sorry if i missed you say that part.
Hi Johathan, the electric motor stops supporting the rider at around 25-26 Km/h but if you're going downhill 50 - 60 Km/h is possible.
Cheers!
@@ruirodtube awesome! Also, do you have to peddle for it to assist you? Or is there a cruise mode where the motor does all the work?

The 625 Bosch battery was replaced by the dealer today as it was confirmed dead and could not be resettet.
Hi Roeland, that's unfortunate. How's the new battery doing so far?
Ruirodtube yes new one works fine
Das ist grauenvoll diese Wackelei.
