I watched this video about one year ago. I searched to buy some electric bike that i could use daily for commuting and to enjoy the Greek country side. When o saw this bike I told to myself this bike is for me. Especially when i saw you guys inside the rivers and on the rocks with such a lot of packages. Congratulations for this incredible promotion of Riese & Müller. From this video i convinced and i bought last November my Riese & Müller Superdelight GT Rohloff HS. Since I've done 6500km.... Thank you very much who inspired me.

@@LastAphelion It's about 17 months of use. I bought November 's 2021. I didn't regret it! The only problem was the controller of Nyon's which goes off because of rain. This is ridiculous for a bicycle of 11800€. Thanks God was in guarantee and I replaced it for free. Furthermore more I bought a cover for Nyon's parts but I see in rain some water going inside under the cover. Generally I'm happy. Mountains, beaches, rocks and roads nothing stopping me.

@@ikefazzio4721 There is no dirt on Rallarvegen. The hike consists of mostly gravel, but depending on when you ride your bike when the Rallarvegen is open you can meet some snow. Therefore, it can be an advantage with offroad tires. You can rent a bike at Haugastol or Finse so you don't have to bring your own bike.

What a great video and such a clear picture and sound of the beauty of Scotland wow! I liked that drone view at the end too! I liked what you said about it's good being lost too! Do you know... can the R&M cargo bikes go anywhere the non-cargo bikes go? I'm thinking of saving up for an R&M and use a one wheeled trailer with it as I have 83 countries on my list to go to. Also... I read that it was overgrazing for centuries that caused the barren looking landscape of Scotland that was once covered by pine forests. There's an amazing environmental group all started by one Scottish man that is bringing back the original growth and they are finding birds long gone are returning! I like too how you spoke about your R&M bikes on such a trip as you're traveling exactly the way I hope to only I will be camping, so carrying camping equipment and solar charging batteries too. How long to charge a battery? Thanks for making such a top quality video! You are fun people with a real sense of adventure.

As much as people don't want to admit it, EBIKES ARE THE FUTURE!!
I'm planning a 200 mile 4.5 day ride around the Tahoe Twist in Nevada, & will be using a Fiido T1 cargo ebike with dual batteries, on throttle alone at 30+mph I'll get 80-100+ miles, & if I use pedal assist, & travel at like 18mph I'll be able to go 150+ easily in a day, it's take an Olympic level athlete to do that, which I'm from from being!!! 😆
I almost died from Covid twice in 2021, & developed Long Covid, & ebikes literally saved my life, & changed the course of my life forever, at 47 years old, but all in a good way!
I'm really practicing to ride across America, from Oregon to Washington DC.

djsbriscoe we will be sharing the route in the next few days so keep an eye on the description as that’s where it will be updated. I’m not sure if the bicycle co-op does a bike hire program or not. We were able to use them because we’re a Riese & Muller brand partner.

We'll add this in the description. Charging is pretty sweet over in the UK since they're running on 220. They charge up quick. I think you could realistically camp out and charge at a mid-day stop for lunch for a couple of hours and be ready to roll. Feel free to reach out if you got any questions after taking a look at the map
