@@radjared bro your very weird for that and its not stereotyping aliens as blue if thats what they made aliens to look like lol..... have you ever seen a real alien before??
I seen this movie. It was pretty cool. I just wished they expanded on it or took it further in a dystopian manner, like getting to Titan sooner and watching Earth perish while trying to save as many people as possible.
The main issue I have with this movie is that it uses surgeries to justify enormous changes to the characters without having much of a reason behind it. I was on board with the eye surgeries and else, but when "a surgery" takes away their capacity to speak, and fuses their fingers (for some unknown reason), and so forth it becomes evident that the movie makers just wished to show these advanced and different beings, instead of treating the project as a serious step that humanity could take in order to survive. Something that could've been done would have been to have the characters over the course of time (with a sudden spike after a while) start rejecting earth's atmosphere, and start preferring to live in the pools, and later in gas chambers filled with nitrogen. Once there have them being shown while they develop these adaptations, make them adapt slightly different and more Make it look like their DNA is truly no longer human and their body is starting to change on its own, instead of using a surgery to justify those changes; it makes the reveal seem like that was the intended result, and that most of the surgery was cosmetic instead of necessary. That being said I did enjoy most of the movie, but I got infuriated after that scene. Yeah, I think the aliens look cool but it also felt like a lazy way to implement them. Overall I'd hope to eventually see a revamp of this movie, in which the experiment part could be taken more seriously as an honest attempt to make humans (or something as similar to humans as possible) into a creature capable of surviving in Titan.
The real issue is when they try to procreate. It's going to be a disaster. They would still essentially need to transform each generation on Titan, which means they need habitats and labs and such. So they're not really saving anything. All they're doing is creating a short term colony that ultimately serves no purpose. Also there's no way a modern human would be fulfilled on a barren rock of a planet. It would be boring. Not to mention food being an issue, since it's a barren rock. The entire movie was soo poorly thought out.
The answer is that its not real, this is a movie and the logic doesn't translate to real life and there are no aliens and neer will be. Not to mention the idea of "injecting" animal DNA into people to "transform" them...... doesn't make any kind of sense to begin with, the reason we haven't ever found life elsewhere is because there is none and never will be.
No food either lol. That's a big one they completely glossed over. Not to mention that their genetic changes don't extend to procreation. So they'd be giving birth to humans that need to breath air. Good luck with that.

Everyone acts like we can just transfer people to another planet like it's a car ride to the store. Just getting to our own moon is almost impossible, and we're over here making plans to go to Saturn and Jupiter's moons and crap like it's cake.
"almost impossible"? I don't think so. Even with currently available technologies at the NASA we could launch millions of human being onto moon. Why you don't see that much trying s and investments is simple: incentive*. Let the human meet with unavoidable world ending disaster that will happen in 100 years. Also imagine there is no things as nationalism and religion. I can sure homo sapiens will make it out of earth, not that i can sure they would keep surviving in the space without a rock to parasite-ed on. But i can sure getting to the luna moon won't be that of a problem in that case. This incoming/unavoidable disaster will make everyone, whole+7 billions of homo sapiens pile in all their resources into one single goal, space travel only. All scientific studies be focused on planetary science. All men start working. yes in 2023. We might even ended up terraform mars if given a 1k years! Yes Mars far away, even with light speed at average distance it last~6 mins, at the farthest up to 40 minute. But we are homo sapiens and we are a extremely intelligent species, more so collectively. If we could really work collectively towards a same goal, nothing is impossible if given enough time. But sadly, with nationalism and religion keep on dividing, inducing intraspecies hatred day and night.... yay, what you said might turn up true, judging how most Chinese or Russian would bring down a spaceshuttle launch(with fellow same species onboard) if you given a chance for them, without even a tiny bit of hesitation. I said *most*, not all, but the fact that it is *most* is scary and should be ashamed of as a self acclaimed intelligent species... Nationalism is s real thing, and when say these to let say Americans(or non nationalities bunch) , they wouldn't believe it. Two hemisphere are so different that it is scary. And I'm in the eastern one myself, and that makes me know both side of the story. Knowing that can make you helpless, knowing humanity seems way out of cure. Id thankful if we able to land human on Mars before absolute self annihilation.
Yes, id take my word back. It is almost impossible with current state of intraspecies hatred and affairs Nationalism and religion are two of the most dangerous inventions humanity have ever created. Seemingly helpful invention at first, now with advancement in social science, new idea regarding social harmony, and understanding of nature itself, it is becoming like obstacles, esp. you d have a hard time rigginh off of these hate inductors in rural parts of the planet earth (hence you can see military regime, junta dictator, and eternal leaders work flawlessly in those places. With the lack of or inefficient education and technological reach, human in those parts are extremely easy to brainwash (hence we rarely find cult in urban cities and area with majority literates)) Intraspecies hatred to the point of happily murdering/killing your own fellow same species is disgusting to say the least
Fr. And even if it was possible in the future, imagine spending all these resources on a morphed human that doesn't even have a partner to reproduce with or the ability to start his own colony there. Lol true this avatar terminator. What else? O yeah clash and wrath of the Titans he's not exactly human but part God also lol.
It's such a shame that the guy playing the main character in this movie chose a ton of popular movies on paper over the years but the majority of them just didn't seem so great so instead of ending up a house hold name he's just kind of know for B/crappy big budget movies 😕
Apparently, Sam Worthington was a pretty heavy alcoholic and awful to work with, so now that he's better he is choosing projects he wants to work on rather than huge projects just because they're huge and will make him more money.
and avatar....
@@just_tom00 And Terminator
This is one of the silliest takes I have ever seen on the internet. The man is number one on the call sheet for the Number One Movie of all Time. Oh yeah. This man is also number one on the call sheet for the Number Three movie of all time. Of all time. And there's two more movies to go. He probably stars in these movies for fun and to kill time between working for James Cameron on, again, the biggest selling movies of all time.
Yeah, it does suck because he’s a phenomenal actor! Most of the time that means he didn’t sell his soul like the rest of them 👏🏾✝️
This movie had so much potential
🤔 Nah.. I’ve a better idea. Let’s not pollute and destroy our planet and its environment.
That way we can evolve and explore without this capitalistic need to destroy everything for fictional valuables.
How do you more ethically experiment on this ? This literally needs human test subjects to get any where in the discovery process lol
They would take people without close family atleast.
Also extinction of the human race can be a great incentive for government and research institutions to remove some red tape around ethical experimentation
Yeah the whole premise of it being unethical was stupid. They were volunteers.
@@Archedgar
Even if people give consent to some things they can still be unethical in the minds of others.
@@D-Thang_ Yeah those people are just wrong, or possibly lying. It's called *the Principle of Informed Consent;* The basis upon which all medical research is founded upon. The name is self-explanatory, I don't think I need to go on further.
If they didn’t kill the girl mutant it would make more sense
I kinda wanted them to hook up. Now, it's just one person on Titan, nobody to make children with, thereby, not saving humans...
I love they toasted the girl when they could have just escorted ricks family out instead of being hostile
Thank you for your work! It's nice to watch your videos!
One of the saddest family movies I’ve seen tbh. There was no time taken to talk about what was happening to their family so suddenly
So he gets sent to a planet to be forever alone with no recourses lmao what
actually, at the end of the movie they say or suggest they'll be sending more people. Program is run by his wife, I think. It's been a while since I've watched it.
I watched the movie. Anyone thinking about watching this: DONT.
This breakdown was much more entertaining than the actual movie lol
This would make a great game too! Because there must be some kind of animal and plant life too for our new humanoid to survive on the Titan. OR it could consume just minerals!?
And if there MUST be plant and animal life, those too must be heavily modified AND compatible to each other!
It was very strange that the whole plot of the movie centered on the earth dying and becoming uninhabitable and the outdoor scenes looked like they occurred in pristine Southern California?
Like if things were bad, wouldn’t they at least show something to that effect? Masks, oxygen? Cover from UV radiation? Sandstorms in that locale to show how even that locale was affected. Weird, and weirdly shortsighted.
What’s the name of this movie
The whole movie was dumb really. In the end the morphed human is sent alone to survive there like what is he gonna do there alone? And how is wasting so many resources on his travel to Titan even helping the humanity?
@@celestia_0894 For real, there wasn’t talk about how carbon capture failed, the intensity of the sun was increasing, etc. Some kind of explanation for why the wonderful temperate surroundings was going to go so bad people couldn’t even build domes in which to live on earth.
@@naturestillness Lmao exactly, they couldn't even keep up with the situation...while on one side the buildings were flooded and untouched, on the other there is a state of lush greenery and serenity around. And nothing can convince me earth was dying and people were scared when they really wasted all the resources on a morphed human who neither had a partner to reproduce with nor was he sending back any info abt Titan back to earth. Mans was just flying around smh
@@naturestillnesswe already know carbon capture isn’t really viable.
If I get a penny for the amount of times I see Sam Worthington go to another planet for resources, I'd have two pennies. Which isn't a lot, but surely is wierd.
Don't forget his conversion from being a human to a blueish alien
Sam Worthington was:
- half human half alien in Avatar
- half human half titan in The Titan
- half human half god in Clash of the Titans
- half human half machine in Terminator Salvation
It's like I'm watching 6 movies in one hour already lol thank u movie recap 👍
The soldier they sent to Titan, came back as a Mad one to take revenge... Thanos
🤣
I never understood why not just work on making humans adapt to earths new environment. Why go to a whole new world 😂
Love this kind of story where everything slowly descend into madness and there s nothing that can be done until people realise they fucked up big.
Mainly because there s (normally) not plot induced stupidity.
and it's pretty accurate what would happen irl, since it's not "profitable" to fix the damage already done.
@@ravenouself4181 Nothing about this is accurate...
This is the silliest shit I've ever seen.
In the magazine she is reading in the beginning she can see that they will turn him into a blue alien that looks nothing like her husband.
But then she always acts shocked when it actually happens!?
Also why do they even live with their wifes and kids?
Why are they not in a secure facility being monitored, tested and trained!?
"and he can fly around he new home" the perfect ending
Sad ending.. He can fly around a deserted uninhabited planet.
Its cute.. and scary at the same time.. since.. with the world going as it is, its definitely a possibility
How in the crispy fried Sokovian FUQ is any of that “cute”? Or are you one of those weirdos who finds the creepy alien cute because you’re a vapid idiot crushing on the actor? Smdh y’all are weird 😬
The ending was weird. They didn't actually save humanity, they just sent their one successful test subject offworld to accomplish...???
They should have enhanced them to survive in the new earth instead of Titan.
Makes more sense
wow you smart s fuk
I got the impression that Earth was basically fucked.
I mean eventually the Earth will be consumed by the Sun anyway so they were probably better off just finding a suitable planet/moon further away then trying to save Earth or make it more habitable.
@@ImSwiftLy tell me you don't have a clue without telling me you don't have a clue
0:00 How has our planet "lost access to all natural resources"? Does he mean that they're all used up? Those are very different things.
Even if they are all used up it'll be still more livable than Titan
Questions. 1. So there is no life on titan. What is this man going to eat? 2. How is he going to reproduce all alone. Seems like they didn’t think that part through.
i always love it when someone creates a video like these and doesnt share the name of the movie
"The Titan" (2018)
Exactly
oh mb the name was on the bottom of the screen at the start its a really fascinating movie
i watched this 2 years ago and it felt so surreal. In the early parts of the movie, i thought they would still look human after their modifications. I was wrong. They ended up looking like a humanoid dolphin
Zane killing his wife was the part I remember most from this movie. Suspense doubles and really freaks you out
Fourteen families don't sound like nearly enough.
You are telling me they spent all the money to build a rocket to send one guy to Saturn moon? And how does he live there with no food?
Super-humans
@@卂乇乂-s8u yeah but what he gonna do there on his own? fly around?
@@emirsuleymantanrkulu709swim? Lots and lots of swimming!
Exactly. Imagine wasting so much resources on a morphed human that's alone and without a partner to reproduce with. Neither is he raising a colony there nor is he sending back any info about his life there. Mans just flying around.
At least keep the penguin female alive so they can penguin each other on titan. Killing her was not fair.
This movie recaps are the best thing that happened to my ENTERTAINMENT TIME. If a movie is good, worth seeing or not. Imo this movie is worth my time.
IDK why they have so much problems with the things that are happening, like, they knew they were gonna go to titan and they needed to transform them to suit a Foreign planet but now they're doing the opposite
Exactly and why all that business with the saline mix up at the end,he went any way.
Thanos is a genocidal warlord from Titan who has a lifelong objective to bring stability to the universe by wiping out half of all life at every level.
I guess Sam Worthington was ahead of the Avatar 2 cast from playing this role invloivng holding breath under water
You do realise Titan is in a retrograde orbit around Saturn and is going to be obliterated 😂
yo bro i just saw a guy that looks like Jake Sully in avatar😂
Michael Bay: No, it would be easier to train superhumans to be astronauts....
🤣
It would be pretty badass to find creatures on titan that live off of nitrogen instead of oxygen. It would completely change our sense of life.
It'd be great if those were introduced to Earth, seeing as majority of our air consists of nitrogen.
@@domdom3938 well would you look at that, most of our air is nitrogen, hmm. Well finding creatures on a different planet would still be pretty cool.
@@Just_Call_Me_Pagton also we have creatures that live off of nitrogen on our planet, they’re called plants
Lol no it wouldn't we already know life can survive on nitrogen like others said plants but also because our planets gone through multiple eras and atmospheres that had life one of which was nitrogen albeit that was one of the more sparse eras for life
Swimming like a dolphin made it a comedy.
Great Job Movie Recaps
This movie is a perfect example of, if you let everyone else control your life, they'll all end up leaving you to die alone.
Now Rick is just the Walmart Dr Manhattan 💀
😂🤣😂
I’m on Quetiapine as a sleeping aid…it’s a pretty low dose, all things considered…but still…RUH ROH!!!?!
(……it’s so rare to have brand name drugs in a film. They must have paid BANK!….)
This proves that we are in charge of our own evolution but we don't even have that kinda peace to put research together and figure it out
It’s a movie it literally proves nothing at all
"Rick will get very sick" I fucking love such names😂

"Great. Let's hear it."
"Abandon humanity and create a new super race to replace ourselves. Then we die and are forgotten."

Imagine waiting till the very last thousand or hundred years earth has left then they say " Yup let's try sending some people to other planets for testing for our new home...... to destroy"
nice to see sam worthington will always end up becoming a blue alien on a distant planet
in what possible way does having 2 of your fingers on each hand fused together help you survive
I'm so glad I watched this video, and not the movie itself. Thank you.
Lol I remember seeing this movie and laughing hysterically at how dumb the plot is. Why didn't they try to adapt to live on the Earth rather wasting time and energy on ANOTHER FREAKING PLANET?! Still an entertaining movie though.
🤔 I’ve a better idea. Let’s not pollute and destroy our planet and its environment.
That way we can evolve and explore without this capitalistic need to destroy everything for fictional valuables.
Movie name
Actually Titan is a moon not a planet
Lmfao saitama when he became a superhaman from training, lost hair as a result 😂
And he can breathe in space and different atmosphere
They send him to Titan to die alone with zero chance of reproduction? LOL What a stupid plot.
Bros gonna win the Olympia with that lat spread
It is almost impossible with current state of intraspecies hatred and affairs
Nationalism and religion are two of the most dangerous inventions humanity have ever created. With the lack of or inefficient education and technological reach, human in those parts are extremely easy to brainwash (hence we rarely find cult in urban cities and area with majority literates))
Intraspecies hatred to the point of happily murdering/killing your own fellow same species is disgusting to say the least
Fr. And even if it was possible in the future, imagine spending all these resources on a morphed human that doesn't even have a partner to reproduce with or the ability to start his own colony there. Its not like he was sending any info about Titan back here either. Basically useless and just flying around smh. And we're supposed to believe the earth is dying lmao
In every movie-verse.. this dude turns into an Alien
Logic of recent sci-fi movies: Humans can't stop global warming→Humans can colonize another planet as a replacement
Now you know how Soviet propaganda worked.
Somewhat hard to believe these cute types are the 14 humans who've withstood the most extreme conditions
I know there's many things wrong here but why was Saline even in that case?
Fr and why they used quetiapine (which is a second-generation or atypical antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression)
i love watching movie reviews that dont actually tell you the name of the movie. oh yeah so good
the transformed super-humans kind of give off engineer vibes from the alien universe.. could potentially be linked?
Sam Worthington is a handsome actor. Like Tom Cruise. He should be in more movies.
1 thing I have learnt from this kind of movies is do not ignore weird, strange things or signs😂😂😅🤔💀
So you sacrifice the good of humanity for your super alien-like husband??? Also just because she's a scientist, doesn't mean she can understand how the project works, or the complicated procedures to keep it going.
I really wish for the second part of this movie really brilliant movie
Man how can I forget about this movie
We might do these sooner than we estimated
If I had a dollar for every movie that said, "The world is collapsing due to overpopulation, resource scarcity, and pollution," I'd have a million dollars. Man, these groups want us to die so badly.
I have seen this movie , it's a brilliant movie and at last when we see the actor detached from human emotions is just gold it's a must see movie for everyone atleast once
