@@radjared bro your very weird for that and its not stereotyping aliens as blue if thats what they made aliens to look like lol..... have you ever seen a real alien before??
If I had a nickel for every time Sam Worthington played a soldier who volunteers to get turned into an alien to better explore an inhospitable extraterrestrial moon, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.
The main issue I have with this movie is that it uses surgeries to justify enormous changes to the characters without having much of a reason behind it. I was on board with the eye surgeries and else, but when "a surgery" takes away their capacity to speak, and fuses their fingers (for some unknown reason), and so forth it becomes evident that the movie makers just wished to show these advanced and different beings, instead of treating the project as a serious step that humanity could take in order to survive. Something that could've been done would have been to have the characters over the course of time (with a sudden spike after a while) start rejecting earth's atmosphere, and start preferring to live in the pools, and later in gas chambers filled with nitrogen. Once there have them being shown while they develop these adaptations, make them adapt slightly different and more Make it look like their DNA is truly no longer human and their body is starting to change on its own, instead of using a surgery to justify those changes; it makes the reveal seem like that was the intended result, and that most of the surgery was cosmetic instead of necessary. That being said I did enjoy most of the movie, but I got infuriated after that scene. Yeah, I think the aliens look cool but it also felt like a lazy way to implement them. Overall I'd hope to eventually see a revamp of this movie, in which the experiment part could be taken more seriously as an honest attempt to make humans (or something as similar to humans as possible) into a creature capable of surviving in Titan.
The real issue is when they try to procreate. It's going to be a disaster. They would still essentially need to transform each generation on Titan, which means they need habitats and labs and such. So they're not really saving anything. All they're doing is creating a short term colony that ultimately serves no purpose. Also there's no way a modern human would be fulfilled on a barren rock of a planet. It would be boring. Not to mention food being an issue, since it's a barren rock. The entire movie was soo poorly thought out.
The answer is that its not real, this is a movie and the logic doesn't translate to real life and there are no aliens and neer will be. Not to mention the idea of "injecting" animal DNA into people to "transform" them...... doesn't make any kind of sense to begin with, the reason we haven't ever found life elsewhere is because there is none and never will be.
I seen this movie. It was pretty cool. I just wished they expanded on it or took it further in a dystopian manner, like getting to Titan sooner and watching Earth perish while trying to save as many people as possible.
No food either lol. That's a big one they completely glossed over. Not to mention that their genetic changes don't extend to procreation. So they'd be giving birth to humans that need to breath air. Good luck with that.
This was a difficult watch. One of those movies where everything is happening to the protagonist while the protagonist drives nothing. Also, love that the entire movie was showing how they are adapting them to swim in Titan's methane oceans and then in the final scene it shows him flying over them. Also seems like a pretty big waste of resources to send one man alone to die on Titan. Also seems it would have been better to adapt humans to adapt to the changing conditions on earth than to adapt them to Titan.
He's probably immortal. If they're fusing expensive test subjects with functionally immortal animals or those with long lifespans. Here are some functionally immortal animals according to ChatGPT: Functionally immortal animals are those that do not undergo senescence, or age-related deterioration. While no animal is truly immortal, here are some examples of animals that are considered functionally immortal: Turritopsis dohrnii (immortal jellyfish): This species of jellyfish is capable of reverting back to its juvenile form after reaching adulthood, effectively restarting its life cycle and avoiding death from old age. Hydra: This small, freshwater invertebrate can regenerate its cells indefinitely, making it biologically immortal. Lobsters: While they do show signs of aging, lobsters have an indefinite lifespan and show no decrease in reproductive ability as they age. Tardigrades (water bears): These tiny, eight-legged creatures are known for their ability to survive extreme conditions, including exposure to radiation and dehydration, which allows them to survive for extremely long periods of time. Greenland sharks: These slow-growing sharks have been found to live for up to 400 years, making them one of the longest-lived vertebrates on the planet.
You never know. Considering they have been injecting him with animal DNA, depending on what those were, some animals are effectively immortal, like jellyfish, and some animals in the wild can switch sexes when a lack of a mating partner is around, and additionally, some animals are able to give birth without needing a breeding partner. And then we have cells that can just clone themselves

It was very strange that the whole plot of the movie centered on the earth dying and becoming uninhabitable and the outdoor scenes looked like they occurred in pristine Southern California? Like if things were bad, wouldn’t they at least show something to that effect? Masks, oxygen? Cover from UV radiation? Sandstorms in that locale to show how even that locale was affected. Weird, and weirdly shortsighted.
The whole movie was dumb really. In the end the morphed human is sent alone to survive there like what is he gonna do there alone? And how is wasting so many resources on his travel to Titan even helping the humanity?
@@celestia_0894 For real, there wasn’t talk about how carbon capture failed, the intensity of the sun was increasing, etc. Some kind of explanation for why the wonderful temperate surroundings was going to go so bad people couldn’t even build domes in which to live on earth.

Exactly. Imagine wasting so much resources on a morphed human that's alone and without a partner to reproduce with. Neither is he raising a colony there nor is he sending back any info about his life there. Mans just flying around.
Thanos is a genocidal warlord from Titan who has a lifelong objective to bring stability to the universe by wiping out half of all life at every level.

If I get a penny for the amount of times I see Sam Worthington go to another planet for resources, I'd have two pennies. Which isn't a lot, but surely is wierd.
Sam Worthington was: - half human half alien in Avatar - half human half titan in The Titan - half human half god in Clash of the Titans - half human half machine in Terminator Salvation
This would make a great game too! Because there must be some kind of animal and plant life too for our new humanoid to survive on the Titan. OR it could consume just minerals!? And if there MUST be plant and animal life, those too must be heavily modified AND compatible to each other!
How in the crispy fried Sokovian FUQ is any of that “cute”? Or are you one of those weirdos who finds the creepy alien cute because you’re a vapid idiot crushing on the actor? Smdh y’all are weird 😬
I mean eventually the Earth will be consumed by the Sun anyway so they were probably better off just finding a suitable planet/moon further away then trying to save Earth or make it more habitable.
Lol no it wouldn't we already know life can survive on nitrogen like others said plants but also because our planets gone through multiple eras and atmospheres that had life one of which was nitrogen albeit that was one of the more sparse eras for life
IDK why they have so much problems with the things that are happening, like, they knew they were gonna go to titan and they needed to transform them to suit a Foreign planet but now they're doing the opposite

Imagine waiting till the very last thousand or hundred years earth has left then they say " Yup let's try sending some people to other planets for testing for our new home...... to destroy"
I watched this movie and was curious....what's he going to eat? because he is the first life that can survive on Titan. there's no plants or animals...and he's basically brain damaged and doesn't know wtf is happening. so he gets to live there for like a couple days...get hungry, stop moving, and if he doesn't die from some kind of exposure a couple weeks later he's just gonna stop.

He probably stars in these movies for fun and to kill time between working for James Cameron on, again, the biggest selling movies of all time.
Yeah, it does suck because he’s a phenomenal actor! Most of the time that means he didn’t sell his soul like the rest of them 👏🏾✝️
It was very strange that the whole plot of the movie centered on the earth dying and becoming uninhabitable and the outdoor scenes looked like they occurred in pristine Southern California?
Like if things were bad, wouldn’t they at least show something to that effect? Masks, oxygen? Cover from UV radiation? Sandstorms in that locale to show how even that locale was affected. Weird, and weirdly shortsighted.
What’s the name of this movie
The whole movie was dumb really. In the end the morphed human is sent alone to survive there like what is he gonna do there alone? And how is wasting so many resources on his travel to Titan even helping the humanity?
@@celestia_0894 For real, there wasn’t talk about how carbon capture failed, the intensity of the sun was increasing, etc. Some kind of explanation for why the wonderful temperate surroundings was going to go so bad people couldn’t even build domes in which to live on earth.
@@naturestillness Lmao exactly, they couldn't even keep up with the situation...while on one side the buildings were flooded and untouched, on the other there is a state of lush greenery and serenity around. And nothing can convince me earth was dying and people were scared when they really wasted all the resources on a morphed human who neither had a partner to reproduce with nor was he sending back any info abt Titan back to earth. Mans was just flying around smh
@@naturestillnesswe already know carbon capture isn’t really viable.
This movie is a perfect example of, if you let everyone else control your life, they'll all end up leaving you to die alone.
If they didn’t kill the girl mutant it would make more sense
I kinda wanted them to hook up. Now, it's just one person on Titan, nobody to make children with, thereby, not saving humans...
i always love it when someone creates a video like these and doesnt share the name of the movie
"The Titan" (2018)
Exactly
oh mb the name was on the bottom of the screen at the start its a really fascinating movie
yo bro i just saw a guy that looks like Jake Sully in avatar😂
I'm so glad I watched this video, and not the movie itself. Thank you.
You are telling me they spent all the money to build a rocket to send one guy to Saturn moon? And how does he live there with no food?
Super-humans
@@卂乇乂-s8u yeah but what he gonna do there on his own? fly around?
@@emirsuleymantanrkuluswim? Lots and lots of swimming!
Exactly. Imagine wasting so much resources on a morphed human that's alone and without a partner to reproduce with. Neither is he raising a colony there nor is he sending back any info about his life there. Mans just flying around.
This is the same idea of interstellar you don’t save humanity, you just start a new one
Thanos is a genocidal warlord from Titan who has a lifelong objective to bring stability to the universe by wiping out half of all life at every level.
They really turned these dudes into some unstable mutant humanoid things and was like yeah y’all can go back home 😂
Questions. 1. So there is no life on titan. What is this man going to eat? 2. How is he going to reproduce all alone. Seems like they didn’t think that part through.
"Rick will get very sick" I fucking love such names😂
Michael Bay: No, it would be easier to train superhumans to be astronauts....
🤣
If I get a penny for the amount of times I see Sam Worthington go to another planet for resources, I'd have two pennies. Which isn't a lot, but surely is wierd.
Don't forget his conversion from being a human to a blueish alien
Sam Worthington was:
- half human half alien in Avatar
- half human half titan in The Titan
- half human half god in Clash of the Titans
- half human half machine in Terminator Salvation
Calling the plot dumb shit is an understatement. This is by far the utterest hogwash i ever had the pleasure to avoid watching. Thx Movie Recaps👍
Avoid Antman then too. You're welcome!
This proves that we are in charge of our own evolution but we don't even have that kinda peace to put research together and figure it out
It’s a movie it literally proves nothing at all
This would make a great game too! Because there must be some kind of animal and plant life too for our new humanoid to survive on the Titan. OR it could consume just minerals!?
And if there MUST be plant and animal life, those too must be heavily modified AND compatible to each other!
0:00 How has our planet "lost access to all natural resources"? Does he mean that they're all used up? Those are very different things.
Even if they are all used up it'll be still more livable than Titan
At least keep the penguin female alive so they can penguin each other on titan. Killing her was not fair.
Man how can I forget about this movie
Its cute.. and scary at the same time.. since.. with the world going as it is, its definitely a possibility
How in the crispy fried Sokovian FUQ is any of that “cute”? Or are you one of those weirdos who finds the creepy alien cute because you’re a vapid idiot crushing on the actor? Smdh y’all are weird 😬
i love watching movie reviews that dont actually tell you the name of the movie. oh yeah so good
They should have enhanced them to survive in the new earth instead of Titan.
Makes more sense
wow you smart s fuk
I got the impression that Earth was basically fucked.
I mean eventually the Earth will be consumed by the Sun anyway so they were probably better off just finding a suitable planet/moon further away then trying to save Earth or make it more habitable.
@@ImSwiftLy tell me you don't have a clue without telling me you don't have a clue
In every movie-verse.. this dude turns into an Alien
I really wish for the second part of this movie really brilliant movie
Why isnt the name of the movie in the title, the description, or even mentioned in the video??
ita on the vid lol
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this movie I have to watch it again with fresh eyes
It's unbelievable how far eye transplants have come
Please tell movie name
@@harshdeepsingh1844 The Titan
in what possible way does having 2 of your fingers on each hand fused together help you survive
It would be pretty badass to find creatures on titan that live off of nitrogen instead of oxygen. It would completely change our sense of life.
It'd be great if those were introduced to Earth, seeing as majority of our air consists of nitrogen.
@@domdom3938 well would you look at that, most of our air is nitrogen, hmm. Well finding creatures on a different planet would still be pretty cool.
@@Just_Call_Me_Pagton also we have creatures that live off of nitrogen on our planet, they’re called plants
Lol no it wouldn't we already know life can survive on nitrogen like others said plants but also because our planets gone through multiple eras and atmospheres that had life one of which was nitrogen albeit that was one of the more sparse eras for life
Aww geez!! Who put the saline in the same case as the injectable labotimy?
I guess Sam Worthington was ahead of the Avatar 2 cast from playing this role invloivng holding breath under water
this movie was good, very underrated. Curious to see what would happen in the sequal
Now Rick is just the Walmart Dr Manhattan 💀
😂🤣😂
Titan 2 would have been necessary to show us what Humans went to the new planet.
I have seen this in all recap channels though i watch it every time 😂
IDK why they have so much problems with the things that are happening, like, they knew they were gonna go to titan and they needed to transform them to suit a Foreign planet but now they're doing the opposite
Exactly and why all that business with the saline mix up at the end,he went any way.
Love this kind of story where everything slowly descend into madness and there s nothing that can be done until people realise they fucked up big.
Mainly because there s (normally) not plot induced stupidity.
and it's pretty accurate what would happen irl, since it's not "profitable" to fix the damage already done.
@@ravenouself4181 Nothing about this is accurate...
This is the silliest shit I've ever seen.
In the magazine she is reading in the beginning she can see that they will turn him into a blue alien that looks nothing like her husband.
But then she always acts shocked when it actually happens!?
Also why do they even live with their wifes and kids?
Why are they not in a secure facility being monitored, tested and trained!?
This is way better than watching the whole movie and wasting time
11:25 IM IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION
Thank you for sparing me the 2 hrs of my life
Imagine waiting till the very last thousand or hundred years earth has left then they say " Yup let's try sending some people to other planets for testing for our new home...... to destroy"
Bros gonna win the Olympia with that lat spread
We might do these sooner than we estimated
I watched this movie and was curious....what's he going to eat? because he is the first life that can survive on Titan. there's no plants or animals...and he's basically brain damaged and doesn't know wtf is happening. so he gets to live there for like a couple days...get hungry, stop moving, and if he doesn't die from some kind of exposure a couple weeks later he's just gonna stop.
I never understood why not just work on making humans adapt to earths new environment. Why go to a whole new world 😂
Somewhat hard to believe these cute types are the 14 humans who've withstood the most extreme conditions
I know there's many things wrong here but why was Saline even in that case?
Fr and why they used quetiapine (which is a second-generation or atypical antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression)
The Side-effect Manual author prob won the Nobel Peace Prize for his outstanding work.
I have seen this movie , it's a brilliant movie and at last when we see the actor detached from human emotions is just gold it's a must see movie for everyone atleast once
SO, you've tech to modify humans for inhospitable planet, but you can't modify humans to survive on Earth or no tech to fix the Earth?
Movies I only watch their recaps.
This was actually a really cool movie to watch
This was a good movie. Art imitates life
Movie name ??
@@zenitsuagatsuma6894 bro really it's on the start of the video "The Titan"
If I had a dollar for every movie that said, "The world is collapsing due to overpopulation, resource scarcity, and pollution," I'd have a million dollars. Man, these groups want us to die so badly.
What movie is this? Looks interesting!
The Titan
Logic of recent sci-fi movies: Humans can't stop global warming→Humans can colonize another planet as a replacement
Now you know how Soviet propaganda worked.
