What a great little docufilm, a total pleasure to watch. But it's left me with some questions. Maily, when will you make the next one so we can see what happens and who left that beacon?!
They arrived at their destination and began exploring the new world. But the planet was already inhabited by humanoids strangely similar to themselves, and speaking their language. The obvious question was asked and the answer was a revelation. The inhabitants had left Earth 50 years after the first colonists, but new technology had shortened their journey to a few short years. Thus the new world had been colonized for almost a hundred years by the time the “first” expedition finally arrived……🚀🛸
It's possible. People basically repeat everyday of their lives until death, mostly with no purpose other than obtaining basic necessities and some luxuries.
The diameter of the ship would need to be much larger than proffered in this scenario. 10 metres per second squared, means a diameter of more than 100 metres.

So much flat earth ignorance on here. Ever heard of E=mc. Mass gets converted to energy with Acceleration. How are you going to overcome the transformation process? The only way is cryostasis and that doesn't work for complex organisms.
