- The customer had a faulty UPVC Door and it was also locked. We opened door & had the locking gearbox replaced. Now our happy customer have access to their garden. Especially having the nice weather lately and with the lockdown extended. Please stay safe, stay home and protect the NHS.

@@michaelboucher7645 hopefully next time I could. Is not that easy as these are live jobs and some customers are not comfortable for me to set up tripods to film etc.
@@yourlondonlocksmith1697 I can appreciate you couldn't video the whole procedure as this was a customers door. But can you explain in brief how you approached opening the door as this is the big problem people will have?. Maybe remove the handle and use a special tool to reach in and manually operate the lock?.. Surely you could give us the how too in text?

Thought I had found a video too help with getting my door sorted as a locksmith came out and couldn’t get the door too even open so I’m going to do it my self no point paying people claiming to be professionals yet can’t get the door open too resolve the problem

yep another 2 minutes of my life i will never get back
"You'll like this... not a lot, but you'll like it!" ... and tap the door with your magic screwdriver say the words abracadabra and hey presto its open! For my next trick I shrink myself to 3 inches tall and stand on a stool by the door handle.

My spindle key way has crumbled to the point where I can't open the door even with the handle removed. I've had to take the bottom pane of glass out just to let the dog out for a piss.

I can't knock the hinge pins out either because they're grubbed in from the currently inaccessible side of the hinge.

What would be beneficial is you try sharing some of your knowledge on how people can try fix their doors, or not get it stuck etc.. share your knowledge and wisdom and it will help attract more views. Ofcourse you cannot share your industry knowledge completely on how to unlock and fix the doors but as I said earlier teach the people and benefit them ! May Allah عز و جل bless you

Is this a skill that any locksmith would know or do you have to specialise in conservatory doors?
Ours is doing exactly this right now and we can't even get the (back) door open.

My composite door won't open..what would you suggest..it will lock but the door will not open at all..looking for advice..thanks again
You might have a failed gearbox/mechanism. I would suggest you get a competent locksmith a lot Onik your area to open and change it for you. Apologies for the late reply.
hi my door can lock and unlock with the key but the handle is spinniung , ive taken of the handle but cannot see anything to release the door as multilock must be engaged and not retracting what can i do your vid skipped that bit

Why put the video on if you don’t tell the most important thing
*SOLUTION* from the outside use a meat cleaver between the fame and door to pry open a small gap, then use a butter knife to push the handle latch in. Use WD40 to reduce potential damage to the seal.
hey your london locksmith im havnt the same problem with my door handle just spinning around and now cant open it due to it being lift handle to unlock so how do i remove the handles to unlock the door please advise me as this video did show that part

So I have a locked door exactly the same as this. Handle does zero. And a very seriously chunky door, well locked closed. So lets know how you actually opened it without damaging the surrounds and hinges etc. Thats the whole point to solve of this problem and as others commented, you skipped that. Pointless video as it is.
Perhaps you can now comment on how you got it open please??

Looking up videos on how to replace door handles and locks on upvc doors and found this. Great advert for your company and your knowledge of door mechanisms, but you didn’t show how to open a locked door, how to get the old mechanism out and replace it. Useless. Showed showed a before and after - what a waste of time. I will keep looking lol
