uPVC Multi Point Mechanism Lock Replacement | Locksmith

This was an emergency locksmith call out, the customer couldn't lock their uPVC multi point mechanism door. We attended but unfortunately we didn't have this particular lock in stock so we had to order it for the next day. So to secure the door overnight we fixed a sash stop to lock the door from the inside. We fitted the new multi point mechanism the next day. All working fine, another satisfied residential locksmith customer.

I've only just changed the gearbox on mine. It just cost me £33 and it works fine.

hi.i am a locksmith in london area by seen this get disappointed becouse this case firstly easy to fix ok you dont want to fix the gearbox just change the gearbox not whole mechanism that is very costly thats why many people in uk dont trust to locksmith .

What a load of crap! Why didn’t you show what was being done like taking the lock barrel out and refitting it? Also that just needed a centre point mechanism. On top of that you’ve drilled holes into the frame for the sash lock which they are now stuck with. Amateur hour!
