Hey heyyyyy! Slow cooker Autumn meals, 5 for under £25 from Aldi! Ingredients list in the description! More Autumn recipes and Christmas vids coming soon! 🤎
I always buy plum tomatoes and chop them myself as I heard the tinned chopped tomatoes are mostly the end bits . God I love a slow cooker meal, thanks for some new ideas Sophie. xx
I'm the same as your viewers gran! I always buy plum tomatoes they are much better flavour than the chopped. The cheapest and best I have found are the Asda yellow label ones. 39p a tin ! ❤
I love some creme fraiche and very sharp cheddar on a super spicy chilli. I cook mine with red wine to make it richer, and have it more saucy but not quite soup level of wet, so no rice is even needed. I also like to sub out some of the ground beef with braising steak which softens up great when slow cooking. One of my absolute favourite meals to make!
I made the satay with mince instead of chicken, as that's all I had. I did it on the stovetop in no time. It was so delicious even the fussy one gobbled it up! Love the five meal vids, keep them coming, and thank you so much! Always easy and yummy!
Video saved! I'm going to start with the sausage casserole on Sunday and do ALL OF THESE. New to your channel today but I know I'm going to love it. Subbed.
Great recipes. I have the sweet potatoe chilli in the slow cooker now. I added some leftover chorizo and sweet chilli sauce. You are saved to my playlist!
Thank you Sophie winner dinners there! Love this time of year and yes please do more slow cooker meals, missed seeing Orin this time, keep up the great work, Jan 😊❤x
Lidl's cheapest chopped tomatoes are fantastic! They're a bit thicker and less watery than any other cheap tinned tomatoes I've tried, they're the only ones I buy now. Asda also sell those naan breads, so if you can't get them in Aldi you can find them there. Not sure if there is a price difference though.
Some yummy hearty warming meals done here 😋🥰especially on this Storm horrible , cold weather with have at the moment:( 🥶🧊❤️thankyou so much for Sharing and the hard work❤❤ keep it up ❤keep warm and Stay Safe . Sending loves to you all xxx
👋 Hi! In your sweet pot and black bean chilli you have 400ml stock listed in the ingredients but when I watch the video it looks like you’ve just popped the stock cube in. I don’t want it to be too watery, do I mix the stock cube with water or no? Xxx
These all look lovely 😊. I’m defo gonna try the satay chicken. Always, always buy tinned plum tomatoes and crush yourself. I was told you get the not so good quality or dregs of the tomatoes in a tin of chopped tomatoes. I also heard Jamie Oliver say the same thing. 👍😊
Sausage casserole….. in the ingredients you say 300ml of chicken stock but when cooking you say beef? Which is it please? Also when do you add the garlic? Thanks xx
Oh I’m sorry! It actually could be either, depending on how rich you want the dish! I actually usually opt for chicken stock! Add the garlic for a minute when frying the sausages, then place that all in the slow cooker xxx

Yes that could confused me too! But I thought it must need some liquid other than tomatoes to cook in🤷
Did you add water to the stock for the chicken curry? x
Jamie Oliver said to use plum tomatoes as its the full product so better quality
Oh that’s good to know! I’m a convert, no longer will go with the chopped!!
How much rice and water did you use for in the microwave , and time please..
Thanks
Cheers!

Thanq for the video
I stopped eating celery, it was always stringy, no idea why.
It does tend to go stringy! But chopping it into small chunks and frying it before placing in the slow cooker tends to work great! Xx
Yum absolutely gorgeous food Sophie ❤❤❤
Amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰
♥️♥️
❤
Hi Sophie, do you have any tips for if you are unable to use onion or garlic? I have a sensitive tummy so trying to avoid these x thank you x
Love, love, love ALL the meals! I haven't seen that Nann bread in Aldi, is it in the bread section? I am soo wanting to make the curr, looks delish:)
I found the Nann breads by the bolognese curry & other jar sauces at floor level in my Aldi. They are indeed fabulous.
Hello x
