I believe it does, not really sure the wikipedia reference to be honest as you can manually upload a team kit.
Unless it is used to update leagues as a bulk more easily 🤷♂️

Hey dude, it is probably best to copy the code from your new kit config file and then overwrite this teams code in your existing kit pack config file.
Hi mate, great video. I've got it all working and added to my FM great 👍. BUT then I decided to add in game editor and add a 3rd kit and change away colors etc. Saved and my custom kits disappeared. I've tried doing kit basher again but no longer get added to my fm. Any ideas? I read somewhere licensed kits automatically unticks or something

Just looked through the comments on here and @kye4216 advised they needed to enable licensed kits through the in game editor.
Unfortunately I am not familiar with editor so not really sure sorry!

I have a question. There is possible to put in the game new Kits every season? FM working on config with loading files when we open the game soo. In FM23 I have a problem with it and none tutorial help me. That's why Im asking.
For example: First season I have red kits, season end and I want to create the new one and load it in the save then start a new season with new kits

I created my own club in fm24 along with it I created my own logo & kit, but my issue is that it does not load in fm. What I did is copy the config file from the kits folder for my kits and the logo folder for my logos, I made sure that I wrote the right ID but for some reason it still doesn't want to load. What I am thinking is to delete the club logo and kit for the team I replaced and paste my logo and kits but I don't know if it will work. Can you please help me 🙏🙏🙏
Do you have 2 config files in your kits graphic folder? They may be conflicting, same with your logos
I figured out a way to put my kits by using Fm editor I created my team through there. But now my issue is the logo, the logo I created is not popping up

How do you add jerseys for multiple teams? It seems as soon as I have more than one team in the graphs folder. It stops working…
It will be down to a conflict in the config file, are you adding the team ID when generating the kits?
@@SsorLoser Yes, I am. Do you have all the kit fits in the graphics order or in a specific folder? I think I keep on overwriting/replacing the config file and that might be messing with it.
@@NaturalBornChilla666 Yes that may be it, with the config file, open with notepad and then copy the code, the create a master config file in your graphics folder and then paste the code into the one file

I had to create the folders that were described in the config.xml. /pictures/team/etc.

For some reason mine changes the kit for the default club but doesn't change the kit or badge on my created club that used the same team.
Hi, did you create the club through the FM24 game mode or the editor? Do you have another kit pack installed?
@@SsorLoser I made it though the game mode and dont have any kit packs.
But I figured it out you need to buy the in game editor and enable licences kits and it works

Hey dude, do you already have a kit pack downloaded? I edit the one that I had when I use a kit pack for the game, then just edit that config file with my team's kits, that would be my suggestion 🙂

how do i get these kits to show up in the game itself?
From 2:55 onwards, shows you where to move the config file to and how to reload skin in FM
For some reason the home kit shows up 3d and 2d but the away doesn't but they were put in the graphics folders at the same time
In the 3D Kit config file, is the team ID showing for the away kit?

@@kylekauffman468 Can you go to reset in the bottom left hand side of preferences, clear the cache and the reload the skin again ? See if this works

i made my own club but how do i get a wiki url to a team that isnt real??
Hi mate, you won't need to do the wiki link for self made clubs. You can manually upload a team kit from the 'Edit Teams - Create Team option' :D
With self made teams from other comments it looks like you need to buy the in game editor and enable licences kits and it works, may have to research this before you buy it though :)
Mine is saying access denied when I try to load the kit template
Have you tried it with out the kit templates? Is it a Kitbasher error?
I keep getting error message saying error loading templates sequence contains no elements. When trying to import kit templates.

Have you unzipped the files? I didn't do the templates, I can try myself and see if I get an error then let you know

Hey mate! Hoping you could help me out! Followed your tutorial have an entire folder of Kitbasher created kits and I'm trying to load them into a brand new Graphics folder in the Sports Interactive directory..
I've triple checked my language and it appears to be correct, except for an added space at the end of the code line:
I copy all the folders over to the graphics folder as mentioned, then go in game, preferences, reload skin.. yet it does not show up.
When I download a kit set from Sortitoutsi and bring that to the graphics folder it works and the uniforms show up.. but I cannot modify that file to capture my custom kits, I've tried.. all of them (except my customs) show up so I'm missing something obvious here, appreciate any help you could provide!!!
only other thing it may be is Sortitoutsi required additional files in Editor Files
@@gobber420 Hey dude, first thing I would advise is to open preferences, click on reset in the bottom left and then clear your cache, try reloading your skin again.
If this fails, you may need to add your new code to the existing kit config file, if you already have existing kits loaded it may be reading the existing code first.
Let me know how you get on!
Normally with config files I right click then open in notepad to make my edits

ich wollte gleich mit einem Kollegen einen Save starten in England Liga 13, da wollten wir uns Realistische Trikots erstellen für den Save, finden dein Video und denken uns cool ein netter Dude hilft uns. Wir machen das genau so wie du es erklärt hast, es klappt nicht. Nun sind wir leider beide etwas Mental gebrochen. Ich hoffe einfach das du uns helfen kannst, das wir unser Spielerlebnis weiter verbessern können.@@SsorLoser
Ok,got it working to the screen where name of team and put Id of team in and when it says generate comes up with a problem.
Can you generate the kits without the team ID in?

Hey, You can manually upload a team kit from the 'Edit Teams - Create Team option', by extinct do you mean that they are not a real team?
I dont get any config files when making any kits?

Hey, I haven't experienced this, have you checked the box next to your teams name?
On kitbasher I would remove the team and start again, making sure the wiki link is correct

Ahaha I think it is just to help automatically pull the team info across etc
If you click on edit team in the top left corner, then select 'Create Team' you can manually add your team in without the need for wikipedia
Make sure to have the team ID handy, if you are creating the club through FM then you will need to allow licensed kits in the FM Editor, I think it might be a pinned comment in this video, or it is in the comments at least 😅
