This is easily the greatest ever attachment to FM that the community has ever created. It really adds to the sense of realism - I know I'm gonna have so much fun just creating these kits
This is amazing, I've always liked creating kits, but having that being "semi-automated" is so much better. I'm glad we have these amazing creators making stuff that make FM an actual enjoyable game.

Thank you. Changed my life for showing me this. Each year, a mate and I design an Aussie database with about 8 teirs and 6 cups. With about 600 odd teams this will add more depth. and save not hours but days!!!!.

Does Matt own anything other than football kits? Does he wear his finest kit from the Djiboutian third tier to weddings?
If you go back a while in his previous series you will see he owns the odd suit, adidas tracksuit, a couple of dresses and funny wigs but the rest is football shirts.

This is amazing and I'll definitely be using it. My only concern is that once teams started moving leagues due to promotions and relegations it'll make the list of teams taken from wiki different from in game. I imagine that will mean a bit more messing about the further into the future you get if you just want to do the league you're in and not all leagues in your nation etc.
Yes, but you can import the teams individually (rather than a whole league) so you can just add the teams you see change. If you're worried about that, you can import the whole list of teams you may see and then only select the ones that are in the league you're in. That way you have them all ready but can just generate the ones you need.

Wow that's an incredible bit of "kit", a preview within the software before writing them to the folder would be good, saves deleting them and fiddling for specific home/away if you're not 100% happy
Great to see this brother, my only question with all of this is does the team you use in question (in my case IF Lyseng in Danish 4th tier) do they need a licensed kit in order to use the 3d kits, i noticed even though i allowed licensed kits it still doesnt use the kits

I always wanted to do something like this except every year it chooses a random kit from that teams history. So if you’re playing as Liverpool the next season it would pick Liverpool kits from any year. Would be kind of cool
Nice. Can you also manually change kit colours too? I like the idea of a new away kit colour each season. Will it also change the commentary bar colour of your team on the match day?

Great video and easy to follow, however I am using a tier 10 database and created a kit for Hashtag united (Followed all steps) and not showing in game so I am not sure if It's me or the database :(
Does this overwrite for example kit packs downloaded from FMSlovakia or do you have to delete that first?
Hi there, just watched this video, can I ask I don’t need to delete the teams kits that I’m managing when I want to add the new ones? I just add the new ones and it automatically overwrites the data
Two questions, does this work for create-a-club and does it work for a network save?
i am not on reddit so i thought i'd put this comment/feedback here. this is an awesome product but a couple of suggestions/requests: 1. there needs to be a place in the manual creation to pick the number color (like the sponsor logo) (and also maybe if the number appears with the kit design behind it or if it appears inside a designless single color background block) as i am not seeing any way to control the back jersey number color (unless it is somehow still controlled by the built in kit editor?) 2. it would be great if in addition to the flat jersey created for club info screen and the 3d kits if it created the back of jersey logos that are used in the lineup/subs screen because as of now the jersey backs that show on the lineup area are whatever is set in the built in kit editor.
You can't pick the number color. It's hard-coded. You would have to open the official FM editor to change it yourself.
How would you go about creating a new Celtic kit with hoops.. isit possible?
if iv already got the kits pack for a club i want to change kits for do i need to put the config in aswell or just the new kits iv made.

Unfortunately it's made with custom templates so won't look exactly like fc12

successfully downloaded the allkits zip file and kitbasher but when i try to launch kit basher nothing happens? how do i fix this.
I have a problem i can’t add it to italy so basically i did the same thing i did to the premier league teams and it worked but for italy it didnt , maybe because of fm automatically give italy kits or ?
can i use the kit in the game if i dont have a kit pack. because im taking charge of Gillingham town fc in tier 11 but cant find a kit pack for that tier.
I know this might be random, but could I do this for non football related sports. Like if you want to make a league in the editor but the teams are from another sport.
This is driving me nicking futs, I've only ben able to copy 3 strips, for 1 team into fm22, I have followed this video STEP by STEP, and just can't seem to get more than one team uploaded. I tried it with 1 team to start with, it worked, then I done the rest at the same time, after putting each teams unique ID, then moved to my SI folder etc, went to preferences, cleared cache, and reloaded, still have my team on old strips
Does anyone know, when you create the new kits, how do you match the colours up with the scoreboard when in a match?
I wont let me actually use it for some reason as it keeps downloading the says i need to reinstall it then i do it and it says the same
This is incredible. How does it work alongside downloaded kit packs as I'm probably not going to want to create new kits for every league I have loaded, and does it ensure the new ones get used over the real downloaded ones?
Only thing you'll need to do along side normal kit packs is remove the teams you've generated kits for from their config. Easy as deleting a few lines of text

I cant access the template files. The image format is not supported on my laptop so when i go to access the templates in Kitbasher, there is nothing in those folders. How to rectify this?

i have all the kits for my league sorted, except my own team? theyre generated but not loading, have i missed something please?
I change kits every season, but the problem is that on the match engine and 3d kits layouts when u launch the game dont change to the new kits every season. 2d kits on ovarlay do change, its just the 3d kits that dont work. Can anybody help me please?
Won't the config file for this mess up with the config file for the original kit pack?

I used ut for my fm save but since i loaded the kits in my game takes a really long time to boot up. Does anyone have the same problem?
