Wiz: World Domination has been on the mind of all would be world conquerors. Whether it would be from Madmen, World Leaders, or Secret Societies.
Boomstick: Or Host of a Web Series. You forgot to mention that in our rehearsal for this episode. Come on Wiz I thought you’re a professional.
Wiz: *sighs. Today we will focusing on two of Comics most dangerous leaders of these Secret Societies.
Boomstick: HYDRA and COBRA. World Domination here come! Ha ha. He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Anyways we all have played as kids of conquering the world or at least dreamed of it. And with this round of commissions I put these two in the Ring. I debated whether or not to do HYDEA VS COBRA, an army on army MUA. But ultimately decided to do this one.
And I’m surprised that Death Battle hasn’t done a G I Joe character yet. Hopefully they’ll do one soon.

It depends on which Cobra Commander. Some, like the Anime version outright stomp, while others stay true to his character and fail miserably. Both have a fair amount of scaling, and compositing both would be a nightmare... And of course, rather than a 1v1 if we take the Wily Vs Eggman route and pit Hydra against Cobra in their entirety... Hoo boy, will things get complicated...
Also, their Movie versions are both equally terrifying

Cobra is an international terrorist organization seeking world domination. They are frequently thwarted by the GI Joes. Essentially we have a Nazi vs a terrorist.

As I’ve said in the latest Therewolf track’s comments, it’s been a rough two days for me so I sadly am a bit late on this but given it’s no one’s issue but me let’s get to the track itself.
Been a while since we’ve had a track with a theme such as this, that being « (generally) cartoony villains that are actually surprisingly brutal » and once again this track follows a similar path to Masters of Evil by instead focusing on the more serious and evil side of the characters, something that makes sense given a fight like this would 100% only (or almost) showcase their dark side with no hero to counterbalance that.
It’s interesting to note though that this track goes in a completely different direction to the aforementioned track because here it doesn’t try to be orchestral or sound like a movie score and instead fully edged into the brutality and violence via massive amounts of powerful percussion and a very sombre but constant melody.
This does truly well reflect the evil of both characters: there’s no good in either of them, it’s only pure evil and that’s felt in the track.
Another notable thing is how their respective cunning is something that’s audible via the use of instruments. Most of the track is very brutal via the heavy percussions and brass but the main melodies are all made with a violin which showcases that those two have a cruel and vicious background to their actions but their first appearance and personalities is one of a cunning mastermind that directs everything behind the shadows.
I especially like how this is showcased in the final arc of the song beyond 2:52 as this is exactly what I described with the overwhelming percussions that are kept in check via the violins: as if to say that the only thing keeping their pure evil to burst out is the persona that they show to others of a composed, even if evil, person.
Overall this track is quite appreciable as more intense and pure evil tracks aren’t too often heard as most of them have a secondary theme to them (for a recent example: Megalactic Conquerors has an overlying theme of epic and tragedy beyond its evil side which represents the scale and background of both characters) which makes this one feel quite unique and added to that the sheer quality and nice representation of both characters makes for a more than appreciable track that’s very nice to listen to. Amazing job as always with this.

@@spectralknightgaming8364 And loses... not to downplay Schmitt, but considering he was the product of a failed version of the Super Soldier Serum, he rarely gets the edge in physical combat against Cap. One time he even tried to steal his body for this reason. I'd say Skull is about 20% the physical prowess of Steve. Like most masterminds on his tier he usually resorts to his planning, trickery, sabotage, and manipulation.

If it's Red Skull then Captain America's shield flies out of nowhere to take his head off. If it's Cobra Commander then Snake Eyes sneaks up behind him to slice his head off. For those of you who are wondering why Snake Eyes and not Duke in one of the G.I. Joe comics Snake Eyes family was killed in a car crash while on their way to pick him up from the airport after he returned from serving in Vietnam. Cobra Commanders brother was driving the other car while dealing with PTSD and damaged vision while serving in Vietnam after taking his brothers place.

Beast vs ransik: the pacifist mutant with human insides and occasional bout of rage, who had wanted to be normal against the warmonger mutant with the ( mostly) human outsides who has the occasional bout of empathy and who rejected help to become normal.
