I think that it would be cool to have the place where they're fighting slowly flood up near the end of the fight, with the loser dying from the pressure of the water and the winner either going to a safe room or up to the shore. You know, if they do the fight in the underwater city. I hope this fight becomes a future episode hopefully.
That would be cool, but if anything, Delta would use the safe room. If Delta goes to the surface, he dies.
problem with that delta is made to withstand crushing force of the ocean , the 1st lvl of the game has a room get caved in with water

I can imagine Mr X’s death scene if that happened. The room floods and the lights flicker off, only to show the silhouette of X drowning in front of his helmet light, and as Delta drills through the Tyrant, the light goes from yellow to red and then turns off to reveal Delta walking through the flooded room to an exit while X’s bisected body silently floats in what’s just another destroyed area of Rapture

Pursuing Threat (Nemesis Vs Pyramid Head) [Resident Evil Vs Silent Hill]
I’m partially hoping Delta wins, because we need heroes who can, but the problem with the Tyrants is they straight-up refuse to DIE until the plot demands it. Meanwhile, Delta, even though he was a badass, got hypnotized into killing himself and stayed dead for an entire DECADE until Eleanor got the chance to resurrect him, and then he died AGAIN at the end of his story regardless of player choice because of his severed connection with Eleanor.
Still want him to shove his drill through Mr. X and rip him apart, though.
he should win this, Mr. X because is susceptible and vulnerable to rockets that Leon can use on him, and Delta has enhance rocket Launcher with modified ammo like mine, heat seeking missiles, with upgraded version multiplies itself
should be enough to get him to his second stage which after that stuff like freeze drill tonic, ice plasmid, shock plasmid can be used to lock him and then do massive damage to his heart

Oh I was very close to going with that but Mrx (T-00) vs Delta was a fight I always wanted to see in some way for a really long time. Might get Vs Nemesis one day when I have the money and if no one else did it yet.
It really should have been Delta vs Nemesis. Delta vs X just sucks and I actually hate Nemesis vs Pyramid Head as a match up as it mischaracterizes what Pyramid Head actually is and just simplifies him to “scary chaser” from a rival game. Plus animation potential is just shit.

First thought upon hearing the first notes for this were "holy crap" as I got audibly assaulted by percussions.
And that was great, getting right into the song and the characters' "personality" with their status as heavily imposing ever-present threats to everything around them being showcased through this direct assault right at the start of the song that continues throughout its almost entire duration is a great way to represent this.
It also plays nicely into the other side of the dynamic for the matchup: that being the more "calm" segments for which the term "calm" applies to in name only as they're just as brutal and violent as the rest of the track, only letting up very little breathing room to let in slightly more tragic and tense-sounding motifs ring out in a way to respectively fit Subject Delta and Mr X. And the way the more tense motifs shift around constantly with the more sad-sounding ones throughout the song to make something that almost but not quite sounds offkey in a good way is a really appreciable dynamic to have in the song.
This is something especially audible at the end of the track starting at 2:58 where we get a piano that *tries* to perform a full melody but that gets stopped in its tracks to remind how those two characters aren't quite humans even if they may seem to be at first glance one way or another and then we get a final totally brutal scuffle to directly show how in the end only pure animalistic violence from the winner would be what could provide them the win. It's a macabre but perfectly fitting note to a very interesting song.
Overall this track is one of those that, while not to my taste, I can still appreciate due to the fittingness and character significance they have, my appreciation for that only being stopped by the fact that I barely know anything of either character beyond their very basics. Still, I can recognize that it still fully fits them despite that and makes for an enjoyable song both for people that care about the characters and ones that don't know them like me. Amazing job with this as always.

I also had the same idea, but I felt our Res2 tyrant boy could use some love. Nemesis is already super popular and I figured he would appear in a track or a DB itself eventually. This was also just a fight I had in mind for years and I wanted to see it in music form.

Dunno about Bioshock but Mr. X is the community name for the Resident Evil 2 Remake version of the Tyrant. Several feet taller than a regular man, nearly impenetrable (by conventional firearms anyway) steel grey skin, and a walk slower than a regular persons (no seriously people have tested it).
Delta probably wins by having Town levelled strength
And his elemental stuff shuts down the T Virus
Also Tyrant has a special form you see at the end of the game where his heart is exposed and he has a flaming claw hand. He is able to leap several feet in the air at high speeds and durable enough to survive a single Anti-Tank rocket (typically, however if his health is low enough he may get killed in a singular shot).

@@Arronic It’s actually much closer than you think. Radiation resistance won’t matter much here as Delta doesn’t have radiation. Survivor does have faster weapons and more powerful weapons, but not by a degree that would guarantee a win given Delta can react to Gunfire and rockets and even throw the attacks back at Survivor. And while VATS is good, Delta has a research camera which can also help detect weaknesses and make Delta do more damage and also has anti armor and personnel ammo. So this battle is super close and could honestly go either way. I lean Delta more for the reasons of Delta just throwing back any attempt to actually harm delta. Like if Survivor uses a Mini Nuke, Delta could just use Telekinetic power to throw it back. So yeah it’s very interesting

Commissioner here, I absolutely love how this song turned out. It exceeded my expectations! Brandon did an excellent job of blending the tones and themes of both series while creating a unique soundtrack. I love how the instruments heard in both the character's themes where used here. Thank you for bringing this dream fight to life in music form.
Now for the connections between T-00 (Mr. X) and Delta. Both are highly resilient bioweapons from the second game in their respective series. Although they are technically human, they have been transformed and augmented. T-00 is the first mass-produced Tyrant, while Delta is the first successful Big Daddy. Both the characters have a technical name as well as a nickname, and interestingly both Delta and most Tyrants have names with Greek connections. T-00's goal is to hunt down a little girl, while Delta's goal is to protect one.
Finally, who do I think would win this? I considered their abilities shown in games as well as their potential based on their respective lore. For instance, Mr. X has appeared in multiple games including the old version, the remake, and Darkside Chronicles. Additionally, if needed, we could refer to the manga and other stories as they mostly retell the Raccoon City outbreak so all feats seen in those mediums are applicable in my opinion. Delta appears to have a wider range of weapons and superior intelligence with more varied options. On the other hand, Mr. X has better resilience, regeneration and adaptation abilities, as well as greater physical strength. Their speed and reactions seem to be somewhat equal.
However, I believe Subject Delta would win since he as a wider array of weapons and tactics compared to X. Although Delta seems to have the upper hand in the battle, there are some factors that could give X a chance to win. One unexpected factor that could work in X's favor is the T-virus itself. While I am not fully sure whether the T-virus can infect Delta, mutated Tyrants have a higher chance of passing on the infection. It is worth noting that Plasmids can alter DNA in the game's lore, but the T-virus is known for its almost magic-like infectious nature. Even if Delta is susceptible to the virus, there is a possibility that the infection may not take effect fast enough before the fight ends. However, the virus could weaken Delta enough leading to a fatal blow from X. All in all I am curious of what you guys think. I am glad that so many of you like this track.

@@Annihilate0405 To be fair I do think Delta wins more time than not. However, I do think this is not as big of a stomp as some would think. The T-Virus is one of the big factors as to why I think this, but X does have a couple advantages against Delta. Not much but still enough to have a fight.

he's is smarter, X is brute who has tunnel vision of hunting down his targets, no real plan, While Delta is man who can plan out attacks and prepare traps and fight off hordes of people hunting him down.
stuff like camouflages tonic allows him to get away and hide in the fight if he needs to recover
Decoy makes for a ...well great decoy with lvl 3 not only dose is reflects damage back to the foe that hits it but also heal delta
security plasmid upgraded and hack tool , and summon Eleanor (summon big sister plasmid) allows for delta to call reinforcement to aid him
feats put delta at building lvl similar to similar so he can duke it out in physicals fight and have the ap Harm him to get his jackets damaged which would cause X to mutant which the fight become super easy after that
X is just big Brute he lacking in range weapons, Delta has abilities to keep him at bay, or to increase his durability so he can enter slugfest between him , But Stage 2 of Mr X, Delta just claps ,due to the exposed Heart, and X losing his intellect being mindless beast, Decoy would be great here, but tonics, plasmids such ice, electro bolt plasmid or freeze drill tonic would immobilize Mr X allowing plenty of time for Delta to just go at it in attacking his giant Heart
I unironically believe that a Resident Evil x Bioshock colab would go unbelievably hard given the nature of Umbrella and it's general lack of not giving a damn makes it seem like the kind of company that would set up shop in rapture

Delta finishing move: Delta pierces X with his drill into a window causing the room to fill up with water faster. Delta says, "Hold your breath." as he rips out his drill, grabs X's head and throws him through the window, the sudden change in pressure causes him to implode. Delta walks to the surface to meet Leon, Clarie, and Sherry. With Delta picking up Sherry and putting her on his back, walking off with the others. With Leon saying, "You're not so bad big guy."
Mr. X finishing move: I legit can't think of one because he only has his fist and Delta's suit is made to handle the pressures of the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, and 50. Cal machine gun and rockets, only for his suit to remain unharmed. So really even his blade wouldn't do much if his suit can handle all of that punishment.
Mr. X's finishing move would be him infecting Delta with *Insert virus Mr. X has here*

@@MidnightPhantomI would love Delta vs Nemesis. But it sucks because I think the DB crew is pretty interesting in Nemesis vs Pyramid Head which I don’t like at all. I feel like Bioshock works better in vs compared to Silent Hill and is more interesting in that regard. The only flaw to Nem vs Delta is that it’s a pretty clear cut fight with Delta holding basically every advantage. But it would still be awesome. My most wanted is actually Subject Delta vs The Sole Survivor (Bioshock vs Fallout). It’s more thematic and is super close

Delta is faster via lightning based attacks and reaching to rockets and gun fire.
Delta has way more weapons and abilities. Rockets, miniguns, Spears, electricity, Ice, Fire, Bees, cyclone traps and can even become invisible and create indistinguishable decoys.
Delta is generally much smarter in how he fights.
Delta has less notable weaknesses while X’s heart becomes exposed upon going super. This is a pretty blatant weakness for someone as crafty as Delta.
Delta has a bit too much for X
