Instead of shoving it down to 7.7, I think it should get 1 more missile, and the Milan 2 missile as a modification. Because the Milan 1 at 8.0 isn't exactly "fun"
Thermals should never be below 8.0. Don't really care about the vehicle.

In game: bushes are enough to set off missile, HE, HESH, HEAT fuses.
IRL: can't even set off mortar shells fuses
I have never had a bush set off any of my HEATFS fuses, also for HEAT, only if I hit the trunk of those thick bushes
What's with that mortar fuze comparison? Pretty big difference between a fuze that must explode on impact as quickly as possible and a grenade falling from the sky and hitting the ground.
Aslong it didn't trigger the fuze then its fine.

it should have gotten milan 2t or even milan 3 which is a tandem charge ATGM, which could put it to 8.3, begleit with stabilizer could get 8.7br.

The 57mm Bofors mk.1 which Begleit uses never had any stabilizer until Mk.2 came out and this version was never mounted on begleit so it will never receive stabilizer unless you have documentation that proves otherwise.
@@HusieK576 it was designed with a stab in mind just never installed onto the tank, so it is a possibility though rather unlikely.
Technically bagel has a Sherman style stab in game.

The Marder A1 already had a coax. It’s not that the 1A3 will have two coax MGs.
I'd bring 1 or 2 HE belts for anti air, you can swap belts on the fly and they're amazing vs air units

Whenever I play Wargame Red Dragon this vehicle is literally always in my deck, its incredibly useful, and cheap to spawn
In WG:RD the base m113 and the marder 2 are the best PanzerGren transports imo... if you want forest fighting/spam M113 with regular panzergren , and marder 2 with panzergrens 90 when you want a more self sufficient unit
Without a large caliber kinetic round, thermals don’t really make a huge difference.
Makes a difference for scouting targets, though.

What are your thoughts on the Object 120?
400mm pen APFSDS at 7.3, I think it's the biggest glass cannon in the game, dies to .50 cals and has a long reload
I play the Obj. 120 “Thunder” at 8.7-9.7 depending whether I get uptiered, and it slays. Assuming you use the good mobility to find a good sniping position early it will do very well regardless of the br.
It was moved to 7.3 because of players stupidity... just like BMP-2M or F2G.
It should be at 8.0 at least
Honestly the O120 is heavily overrated. There is no point in having 400mm pen at that br. Oooh, it slaps Tiger IIs through the UFP well so does HEAT-FS or APDS that like everyone else already has. TBH it has more worth at 8.0+ than 7.3 where that insane amount of pen is actually useful.
The reload isn't taht bad considering it's an autoloader so it can't get any worse than 10. Usefull considering it can be 50'd. Also something I've noticed while playing it is bc it's engine is in the front and it has no armor=best armor, it's super survivable.

The 1A1 ARLEADY had that, just above the Rh202.
I consider this a downgrade tbh since no longer you can use the same tech that the main gun uses on the back turret, and essentially bait/peak with it.

IMO A3 should be a modification for A1
Funny they don't have modification that change quite a bit and adds stuff and BR this is 8.0 since thermals
It's a worse vehicle than its little brother mainly because of the poor missile performance and loadout, but still useful once fully upgraded, point taken about NVD on the BR or it should really be 7.7.
I think they should give the Marder 1A3 the Milan 2 or 2T (which the A3 used) and historic values for the 20mm APDS which is 44m pen @ 1000m (currently a mere 31mm @ 1000m). Mind you the Warrior currently sits at the same BR but has almost double the pen of its APDS and has 8 Milan 2 ATGMs.
Warrior as other problem like very bouncy suspension
No stab and meh mobility ( for a light tank )

Did you calculate the penetration with DeMarre? If you just read it off some German document it doesn't mean much.
@@murkser4149 So decisions aren't based on facts and documents anymore? Obviously it depends on the source but saying they are generally untrustworthy isn't going to help anyone.
@@desertstormer96 Dude you have not the slightest clue how penetration is actually implemented in the game, do you? Every country has different testing methods to determine penetration. So if one country tests a round it might have 60mm penetration and for another country it comes out as 80mm. That's why all rounds in game are calculated with the same DeMarre method. What penetration is listed in whatever document is not relevant because the testing method is not the same. If you want to know the actual penetration of a round in game you have to find out things like penetrator length, material, weight of the projectile, etc. and put them into the DeMarre calculation.

Wish the APDS belt was 1:1 APDS and HE. Theres really no point in having 3/4 AP for a fast firing 20mm cannon. That would make it a lot better against air targets while hardly any worse against ground targets.
For that you can just bring 1 or 2 belts of he right? You can swap at any point anyway

Mistake right from the get go, "the machine gun was moved up from the rear of the vehicle, to now, a proper coax." This isn't a flex, the 1a already has a proper coax AND an AA MG, the the 1a3 just has ONLY a coax machine gun.

People bring low tier to 8.7 because boosters and more pen because most 8.7 to 9.0 have no armor

When you run out of missils you go back to a cap and reload. What you call a fail squad is called goofing off and having fun. I think one of the biggest problems with this game and it's player base is people taking it to seriously.
Imagine being a bmp 2 with no thermal, laser or less atgms and being a BR of 8.3...
Imagine being a bmp 2m with 2nd/3rd generation thermal, laser, 4 tandem atgms with 1200mm pen ready to fire while moving, 4 atgms inside, a grenade launcher and being a BR of 8.7… :D
