Resolution wise, T-80BVM, T-72B3, T-90A etc. should have Gen 2 thermals in game but have Gen 3 because that's their actual generation. The 2PL had Gen 2 thermals in game as well despite also being "Gen 3" irl. For the Leo they took the actual resolution, for the Russians the generation.
One day, I hope we get a Polish subtree for a nation in the game. As they've got a treasure trove of things: 7TP, the TK series of tankettes, H-35 & R-35 tanks, wz. 28, 29, and 34 armored cars, 9TP, 10TP, T-34-85, T-54s, T-55s, T-72M1s, BMP-1 and BMP2, PT-76, K2PL (Licensed version of the K2 Black Panther), AHS Krab (K9 Thunder hull, AS-90 turret, and Rheinmetall produced 155mm gun), PT-91 Twardy (Development of the T-72M1), 2S1, ASU-85, PZA Loara (PT-91 chassis with a Gepard style turret), ZSU-23-4MP Biała (A Shilka mod.), Hibneryt (Star 266 truck armed with ZU-23-2), ZSU-57-2, ZSU-23-4 Shilka, Strela-10, and M1 Abrams.
I hope they do that instead of adding all of our tanks to Germany, or god forbid ru**ia (I would quit the game and write to the Prime Minister to IP ban Warthunder in Poland lol XD) I guess they could also just transform the Italian tree into a EU tree since there are 2 countries in there already anyway, and nobody is playing Italy, especially top tier is dead completely. Yes, i think that would be interesting addition to german tech tree (imo the best option), but I would delete from the list T-54s, BMP-1, T-72M1s, ZSU-23-4 Shilka and K2 (it would be better for subtree of South Korea in Japan and still there is no PL version, if there will be any). The rest would be great addition to German Tech Tree and it wouldn't be too much copy paste like with BMP, T72, which are already in this and a few others tech trees in the same variant (Italian, Sweden etc.). In addition for the tech tree I would add a better (newer) export version of PT91, which was bought by Malaysian army and instead BMP I would like to see something new (and also very popular vehicle in the past in polish army) which is SKOT-2AM - SKOT version armed with 14,5 mm and 9M14M Malutka which are added on both sides of the turret - not many, but few of them (around 30) were created in Poznan :) and for event vechicles there is also options like PT 16 / PT 17 (upgareded versions of PT91).
18:18 Typically, I advance towards point B and once I gain control, I secure the area for a few minutes, especially if enemy tanks are approaching. Once the area is clear, I Try to flank either point A or C, depending on which one the enemy team has captured.
Another thing, because PL is now rank 8, it has access to stock APFSDS (DM33), which is pretty amazing given that the first dart the AIM get is a rank 3 upgrade (much suffering).
Interestingvehicle to revisit, I used to kind of hate this one but on September last year I decided to join a squadron to get the BMP-2M and as soon as I got that this was the next vehicle in line and I can't wait to get it, that's how much it has grown on me.

As someone who plays russian top tier ish, with the t72b3, playing the 2pl is like drinking a pepsi after only drinking cola as a soda, i love the turret composite wedges, they like to eat rounds, very fun, oh, and an actual reverse gear, my beloved.
18:18 Also, it really depends on side of map tbh.. I adore playing on the South side of Flanders, spawn on left side and drive to the railway tracks between the roads on the left side of the pond, between A and B points! when there, it gives you a commanding overwatch of both the approach to C, and also gives you a tiny window to slap enemies as they enter the railway depot at B while giving you decent enough cover from enemies spawning top left as there's a hill in the way with bushes and trees! if nobody capped it already, push to A and cap, stick to the trenches and drive to the edge of them, get onto the tracks and check targets before going to B and then cap it, then drive to the middle of map between their spawns and just take careful sideshots. this is a fairly reliable tactical breakdown that's gotten me a few nukes here!
18:18 If you spawn on the north side, I typically head towards the edge of the map by A. There's a circular depression on the edge of the map that you can use either if your quick enough or tough enough. You can't hold the position for long especially if your team is getting rolled but you can typically dominate A and the surrounding area. Once you've cleared out opposition, (which should be done quickly), you can push past A/cap A and snipe anyone reinforcing the B or C caps. This should take pressure off your team, (if they aren't doing well), and allow them to retake/hold those caps. My other go-to is around B, (not straight into), and basically do the same thing, just in the center of the map. The only problem is you're vulnerable to the sides of the map if your team isn't capable of holding them.

Are there any differences that you'd see in game? If I recall the M1 modification includes mostly "quality of life" upgrades for the crew - new charging port for the vehicle's batteries, cold start for the engine and so on, nothing that could be implemented in the game.
Leopard 2 PL is only second to 2A7V because 3rd gen thermals make it so much better than PSO that has 1st gen thermals. Also irl it uses DM63 I think? Im not sure but a better round than DM43
Hey Justin, you should play the Hungarian KF41 for a video. It has been pretty controversial since it was added, but nonetheless it is a blast to play. Especially when paired with the AMX ghibli
@@ayhamrami155Sweden is nice because you get some Russian and German vehicles mixed in. So you get the best of both worlds. Also some good Swedish native vehicles like the CV90 series tanks.
Just a reminder that this thing has 3rd gen thermals, and is the only top tier squadron tank with stock APFSDS since it's Rank 8... Meanwhile the M1A1 AIM and T-80UK are at the same BR but are Rank 7 so no stock sabot for them
Justin just a correction its not gen 2 thermals but they are both gen 3 thermals for commander and gunner just like the 2a7v which makes more worthwhile to have the 2PL on your line up
i have the 2pl as a grinder for lower tier germany BUT theres a glitch with it for me where it steals my research for modifications it already has researched and bought. one battle i activated all my boosters and got around 34k research (with the help of the 2pl only) and it researched my current free tank 1k and researched the rest towards "modifications" it was already aced and i checked to see if gaijin was just lying to me and no it had indeed only researched it 1k more from a 34k research match :/
DM43 is still incorrectly modeled even several years on. Should be 4 kg and 1720 m/s. By extension, OFL 120 F1 is also incorrectly modeled, being 3.8 kg instead of 4 kg.
On Flanders i go somewhere in middle most of the time,around B i would say...u have cover from both sides and if u have more than 6% gun dep u can use hill there..i like it bcs u can cover left and right part of the map and u can see people that cross middle and go into ur side...ye even tho i play sweds i play like i use paper tanks,kinda wait for "late" game and dont like to lose good tanks early😅😅
11.7 german has been a walk in the park recently, ive grinded out the leopard PSO and now im doing the 2A7V and almost every match i played we steamrolled the americans
Leo2A7v grind now is so easy I ve done 16 kills in first 2 matches in this thing completely stock. It's so easy to play Vs Russia/USA in this thing, I completely recommend avoiding the USA and playing GER instead.
I would really like to see a revisit if the once monster lineup that was the 8.7 china (8.3 before the "decompression") lineup before it got changed to 9.0 and lost a lot of its power
it’s massacred now. Highly unrecommended. I understand it was op at 8.3 but 9.0 is a huge overkill. 9.1 second of reload, low mobility and pen for 10.0 uptiers
I'm almost done with my first tree which is America and I'm not a bad player so when I get a team full of premiums that get me killed it's extremely frustrating, I too love the Abrams but it's getting more and more difficult to play by the day I have multiple clips of click baits just watching the enemy shoot me from behind while they're aiming right at the enemy
man i realy wanna know why they nerfed the Puma ,kf41, bradly , vilkas and other ifv's with the fire rate drop , just why they have it hard the hole time and know its way harder to kill something and the spall from 30mm that just feels like you throw wet toast at them ,or the spikes that dont even try to hit an tank or make no damage to it ( your opinion justin ?)
I am just sad that they took away the blue of the digital camo... the green just looks so boring and normal vs how pretty and out of the ordinary it used to look! (also fun fact, the turret armor actually outclasses the protection of the Strv 122B+ if you aim for the right side of the turret face, some fairly substantial parts of the side-front angle actually block 1000mm of kinetic! like it's genuinely surprising how strong the PL's turret sides are even at a slight angle) ALSO fun fact, you know the firing nerf to the 30mm on PUMA/Vilkas/VCBI? wellll it's also the worst type of nerf, where Gaijin's actively gaslighting you by not acknowledging the nerf at all/not changing the statcard to reflect the new reality... it was 200 R/pM pre-nerf and it's still 200 R/pM now)

No idea why you apologize for spawn camping. It's baked into the game. People can cry about it, but the problem is with Gaijin's game design, not players. Being "nice" and pulling back opens the opportunity for a break out and a potential (if unlikely) loss. How could the snail fix this? Not sure, tbh. But I'm not convinced it needs to be. It sucks to be pushed into spawn and can even suck when the enemy collpses and you are left digging for scraps for some score. Nature of the beast.

On Flanders when I get bottom spawn I like to a hill in between A and B. From that position you can see majority of the map and cover a lot of ground
The leopard 2pl was the first squadron vehicle I got when and started using it when I got the 2a5 and I always liked the 2pl alittle more

(also fun fact, the turret armor actually outclasses the protection of the Strv 122B+ if you aim for the right side of the turret face, some fairly substantial parts of the side-front angle actually block 1000mm of kinetic! like it's genuinely surprising how strong the PL's turret sides are even at a slight angle)
ALSO fun fact, you know the firing nerf to the 30mm on PUMA/Vilkas/VCBI? wellll it's also the worst type of nerf, where Gaijin's actively gaslighting you by not acknowledging the nerf at all/not changing the statcard to reflect the new reality... it was 200 R/pM pre-nerf and it's still 200 R/pM now)

No idea why you apologize for spawn camping. It's baked into the game. People can cry about it, but the problem is with Gaijin's game design, not players. Being "nice" and pulling back opens the opportunity for a break out and a potential (if unlikely) loss.
How could the snail fix this? Not sure, tbh. But I'm not convinced it needs to be. It sucks to be pushed into spawn and can even suck when the enemy collpses and you are left digging for scraps for some score. Nature of the beast.
