Phly if you dont mind answering or if someone else can answer for me, How do you disengage crew without sending to holiday? Because I have a lot of crew engaged and its getting really messy with a lot of crew that I dont wanna use. And I don’t know what sending a vehicle to holiday does but I don’t wanna do it because im assuming I wont be able to use it again.

Because they have needed an aa between the zsu37 and zsu57, yes its a bmd chassis but that is all it is, Sweden has many post ww2 vehicles before t4 at low brs, and they don't really need the bars but they for sure won't be at 3.0 lol, idk what you're thinking

The BTR-ZD is basically a towed ZSU stationary gun slapped to a BTR chassis. The Soviets really liked slapping things to other things didn't they.
The chassis is a redesigned BMD-1.

If you take a look at the soviet ships in wt you can also see that the soviets just slapped a bunch of turrets from their tanks and used as naval guns

This thing facing panzer 4's looks goofy AF. I remember the M42 being 5.7, the Crusader mk 1 4.7. Now this gets introduced at 4.3. Meanwhile the Yestvark gets introduced also at 4.3, with a single 20mm and a massive dead zone over the drivers cabin....War Thunder pffft.

If this tiny vehicle can have 6crew, I demand they give the Ratel Busses their 3crew+ 9passengers as backup so it doesnt get one shot all the time, absolute ridiculousness

Hey Phly, didn't you turn on rewindable replays? it is located in settings/Main Parameters/Replays and spectator mode -> Record a rewindable replay. It really saves you a lot of time

My class in the Finnish army is to operate that mechanical calculator on that very gun, on the right seat. We don’t have these mounted on a vehicle, but they are on their own. That advance calculator has a max distance of 2km and max speed of 250m/s, so it’s not so useful against modern aircraft’s. These are still in service.
Against helicopters trying to land troops in a field however... Couple of these around hostomel would have made things a lot more spicy for the russians in february.

It was the vehicle that got me my phirst nuke, and I’d like to see it and the ABUL/74 (specifically the 90mm) on the channel!
The combo means in any terrain you can get to a sneaky spot, and scout phor tons of SP!

i would love to see it loved from 4.3 to like.6.7 as the "fast fire rate" then "Dual 57MM" and after that you go to Shilka etc...
Also i would love to point out this dual 23 mm gun is not even fully mounted to the chassis....it's just suspended on wooden blocks and held together by metal straps and can be easily taken off the vic..and used as a...stationary AA gun

I don't think many people know it but in your damage model while in-game where it shows ur tank and where it's damaged there's a binocular That lights up every time you get scouted and lets you know that you have been scouted.

You can also use the machine gun facing backwards on the t 26 4 too
By the way it's vehicle for paratroopers, so that's why is there so many of them. Also the wheeled AA platform on the top can be taken down and used separately. My beef with this vehicle is ... that it's placed to WWII vehicle range ... again, thus braking the remnants of immersion.
Yep, last we saw it in action was 24th of february 2022 near Kyiev. All of them were wiped out though.

This thing looks pretty badass and I will be unlocking it soon but I've been caught up playing the zsd63 anti-air with China which is basically a better version of this AA. I've been waiting for so long for them to change the reload rate on this thing and they finally did it. It used to take somewhere around a half an hour to reload two guns but now the zsd63 reloads in around 16 seconds without an aced crew. On top of that the twin 25mm penetrate 63 mm with a full AP belt. I'd love to see what Phly can do with it.

I'd say this thing is more like a 5.0 AA, but 4.7 for sure. With that RoF, shell velocity and pen. Plenty of crew, so you don't instantly die from a single rifle caliber MG... You get smoke launchers AND ESS?!
It has better aa ability to the R3 and equal offroad mobility. Definitely 5.0

I was getting those German TD kills for the battlepass challenge and i was on the snow map with the train tunnel (idk the names of things lol) and 3 EBRs swarmed our spawn right off the bat and killed me. I spawned back in the triple barrel halftrack (again, i dont know names) and killed all three, got the tunnel cap and killed 2 more ground units and a plane. Anti air is life

Phly you've got all my respect! Now this is two separate functional military units combine together. (BTR-D and ZU-23-2 mobile anti-aircraft gun.) The Russians basically take one BTR-D and put on the top one ZU-23-2 and this is how is born BTR-ZD: (Nickname, Russian for "shriek".

I've been using this as my primary AAA even up to 7.3 (the ZSU-57-2 is fun but not a great AAA). Works just fine.

It has James Bond car headlight guns! And yeah, I'd love to see all the unusable MGs in the game made usable. Also, I want that black paint for everything in the game.

Sherman MG would genuinly be usefull though, the amount of times I kill AA with it's machine guns or even an odd scout car here or there

I was wondering what this vehicle was when I came across it in my games yesterday, I was having trouble figuring out where to shoot to knock it out as I haven't seen a vehicle with an internal layout like it that BR before (and I haven't played higher than 6.7) so thank you for this video. lol idk if anyone else had said it yet, but the reason for the two emotional support gunners in the front is because Russian spaa will travel along with tank battalions on the front lines and defend the tanks from helicopters. In this role it might be feasible to come upon infantry

you can also use the machinegun on the hull of the ostwind, one time i killed a russian milk truck with it, it felt really smart in the moment, really cheap after 3 seconds

You can spawn it with a AA screw as well, so 2 AA for the price of one
28:09 I think one vehicle that could fulfill this role is the BTR-82A with the 2A42 30mm gun. The gun is the same one found on the BMP-2, so fast firing 30mm will absolutely chew up aircraft and the gun can elevate to 60 degrees, which is enough to hit anything that isn’t directly above you. The BTR will be able to move fast and being an 8 wheel vehicle with large wheels, its mobility is cross county and soft terrain shouldn’t be as poor as in the previous wheeled vehicles. Being a heavily armed APC, it has not ATGMs. At 5.0-6.0, it could get away with the regular AP round, but at 6.3+, it needs the APDS rounds in order to combat anything heavier than Leopards.
The only tanks heavier than leopards are Russian…. At that br

@@wyattlewis7137 The M26 and later American Medium tanks have at-least 76mm of side armor, which cannot be penetration by 30mm AP rounds.
One thing gaijin 100% needs to fix that happens to me all the time. If I shoot a round at the same time my gunner is killed the round still needs to kill. I played a game yesterday where I shot a jumbo in the frontal plate with my nashorn right as he killed my gunner. You could see the giant hole in his plate and he was just fine apparently.
