- As we near the end of the year, I wanted to take some time to answer some of the questions that I'm often asked about my background, my career and about the game of golf overall.

Dare I say, You're an ideal role model.Perserverance,eclectic,honest.....Thanks Paddy you are class personified !
I can’t think of any other sport where a superstar has managed to stay in touch with regular people. I was behind the ropes at Royal Birkdale when you won and will never forget your iron shot into the 72nd Hole. Mint!
More power to you Padraig. ☘️
Besides all the technical gems he spreads in every other video, you can feel vividly that after more than 40 years he’s still passionate about this maddening game.
Thanks for everything you share with us, PH.
I am a 61 y.r old self- taught golfer.
Mr. Harrington has been my favorite golfer for many years.
The last answer nails golf for me... you'll never master golf. That's such an incredible thing to think about. Always chasing perfection in a game where fractions of inches can punish both pros and hackers alike.
Great interview Paddy!
"Scored a couple of pints...errr...points". Best Freudian slip ever
Such an honest chat.
How right on a number of points.
Not an elitist sport.
You need to be time rich.
You’ll never master it.
For all ages.
Irish Legend…Fabulous legacy
Absolutely fantastic and ambassador for the game.
Generous with time on tuition.
Thank You Padraig
Thx for all you give back to us Padraig! A true gentleman and inspiration!
I easily could have stayed tuned for fifty more questions.
Started as a caddie mid 70s best bag I had was Paddy Skerritt in our pro am think it was 1977
Weren't allowed on the links those days unless you had a well to do relation as a member, finally got in as a member in 1980 and have been there ever since bar a few years in the late 80s working in London, golf is the best game ever, my highlight was winning the Senior Cup in 05 and playing against Rory McIlroy in the Ulster final, I'm 54 now and for my 40th birthday we followed you around Carnoustie in 07 probably the best of times on and off the golf course 😉
You taught me golf lessons. Now you inspire me with your priceless conversation… I owe you a lot. Thanks a lot again PH.
Your comment about being time rich to play golf is bang on. Most of my golf is based around time these days - if I have an hour I’ll head out for an hours golf - maybe 5 holes - perfect for me and I’ll often take the dog along too.
5 hour rounds doesn’t work for so many these days so why not cater for as many people as possible.
Also a big fan of Bob Retallick and his writing.
Great video. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you defined success for many people here which is 4 generations playing golf together. Great interview. Thanks Paddy!
“Legacy”?!? Dare I say it Padraig, your words about majors might be true (and God bless, for peace of mind Rory may need ‘n+1’ more than you), but it will be your golf tips. As Yeats *may* have said “teaching is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a flame”!
Your record as a multiple major winner will be timeless, but your selflessness in ‘paying it forward’ is immeasurably important too. I first picked up a golf club in my late twenties, but being time poor and a family man I only averaged about one round of golf a year for the next twenty five or so years… until now. Your videos on ‘athletic swing’ have changed all of that, “a terrible beauty is born”!
I’ve always appreciated golf’s capacity to carve out time for ‘not working, playing’ moments with others in nature, being humbled by our inability equally to impose our will upon Her and upon a bloody little plastic ball, but it took your tips videos to rekindle the love and memory of my first ‘athletic swing’, of what it felt like to hold a hurley, to swing freely unconscious of the action and be mindful only of the ball and where it was going. Thank you for freeing my aging body from a captive mind to re-embrace *that* freedom through golf and just play for love.
Absolutely class
Paddy ….. you always been one of my favourite golfers but these videos have elevated you big time. Such practical, simple, clear, no nonsense lessons and great chat. Top guy!
A real class act Paddy. Well said.
I was able to teach the right golf swing to my daughter because of Padraig’s UA-cam videos. Thank you very much Padraig.
I want to thank you for your channel and the brilliant tips, my favourite was the one on using your athleticism in the swing, made a massive difference in my game. I’ve been playing for 17 years and this has been a real game changer. I’ve just submitted my third card and this morning received my first official handicap. Your vids have really helped me focus on my game and gave me the confidence to go out and join a club. Thanks again and I hope you have a fantastic Christmas
What a legend ..!
Thanks for all the videos!! I’ve always been a huge fan and I really appreciate all your teaching!
Padraig you are honestly so genuine and I thank you for all the gifts you have given to this game not least for this video, which I feel is one of the greatest golf interviews I have ever watched. Because of this video I will get off my butt and take my two daugthers who are 12 and 13 along with my wife who also played golf and I will get us out on that golf course. Thank you and good luck I hope to see you playing golf again soon.
Paddy - you’re the best. I still remember you came and sat with us at the clubhouse during the 2 nd round of the Deutsche bank tournament.
Hi Padraig, thanks for taking your time to do these videos. I've decided to try and turn pro from not having a handicap. I'm going to be documenting my progress on my channel and want to try and help people and inspire like you!!! ⛳
You are a gem Paddy.
Fabulous interview. Thank you for your channel. I think it s a great sport for our mental health too.😎
Your comment about time rich and kids hit home. My son is 8 and now plays every week at the club, junior support at my club is brilliant. I look forward to caddying for him in the future. It is very easy for kids to get started in Ireland.
Great interview. Good questions. Patrick was terrific in his responses.
Brilliant interview!
How he lit up thinking of having a hit with his mates. Gold.
I absolutely love this guy
What a true humble gentleman, quality Paddy 👍👍👍👍
Great talk.... Wilson Staff...
Really enjoyed this Q and A. Thanks Padraig!
This was really great
Great video class act and wise words. Would love to see Padraig win another major!
Thank you for having this channel, it really gives us fans a different view. (Don't think he needs the $$, lol.) Take care.
Great interview class act. Wish we could play golf in then states as reasonable as Ireland. .
Great point regarding the mindset regarding 'you must play 18 holes.' I think handicaps really should be allowed to be formed with 9 holes too,as Paddy infers in this video.
Thanks Padraig
what sort of vitamins for the eyes??
Strange but true story. I was playing in a president’s prize in strangely as well, Adare Manor golf club (old course) a few years ago when a very good golfer was playing super golf, playing 2nd shot on 13th hole and his ball just popped up 2 feet in the air. Incredibly his ball had landed exactly on top of a plugged ball which he couldn’t see and he obviously hit the ball under the ground first. Fell apart after that. Golfing gods are always against us.
Sergio dislikes every video because of that intro
Thanks Padraig
