Thanks so much for watching. We tried to cover a lot of ground to make sure we had things that all would enjoy. The area has a lot to offer. Nice comments and we greatly appreciate it.
Friends, beautiful video. I visited Los Angeles in 1989... And a friend of mine took me to Chatsworth to see this beautiful part of L.A. Congratulations!!!!
Hello friends, I love the story about the train station. I love the Olive trees, I loved the movie ranch and the story behind it. I grew up watching Western movies. My father is a huge fan, he was a fan of Rogers and T.V show Bonanza . It was nice to visit the grave site of Ginger Rogers. I really enjoyed your video. 💖😘
Thank you so very much for watching and commenting as it really means a lot to us. At a time when there is a pandemic happening it sometimes seems so very hard to find things that people are interested in seeing. We hope you find things that you enjoy.
Hey Randy &, Christina, I always like watching your videos. They are interesting, and cool to watch, and I learn something every time. California is such a great state , so much to see and do.. I enjoyed watching. mike
California is a place that we love to share with others. As time goes on, there is a lot of bad and we love sharing the good. We are glad you find it interesting to watch and we will expand out as some of the restrictions ease up. Your comments are always appreciated Mike and we are glad you watch. Thank you again.
Wow another brilliant place you have took me. Who doesn't know val kilmer. Ive watched a documentary on him and his cancer and he came across as a very genuine caring family guy. Really enjoyed this thanks once again and have a great week
You never know what you will find out about a place until you dig deep. It can be around us all day all the time and we never see what is really there. Thanks so much for watching and I am glad you enjoyed it.
Showing some things around California. Hope you find some things you like. We are staying here and keeping warm for a while. Love watching the rest of the world too. Thanks kas always for watching.
Thank you so much for the very appreciated comments. We try to show a lot of things to cover enough ground that all can enjoy. It is hard to find the right combinations but when we get comments like yours we are very happy. Thank you again.
New subscribers here! What a very informative video! History of the Olive trees, western movie location and the cemetery tour were all so interesting. We visit cemeteries too when we visit towns. 😊
We covered a lot of ground and hope that we found things that you enjoyed in our video. We have a few videos with cemeteries in them but we don't want to be known as the graveyard people....LOL. We thank you so much for watching and for commenting as it does mean a lot to us.
@@CRJourney20 ha ha! When we flew to Maui we stopped in LAX. We didn’t realize the mountains were so close . So I imagine these mountains were near where you filmed. We also saw the HOLLYWOOD sign in the distance. We should put California on our list. (We’ve been to San Fran MANY moons ago), but need to explore the rest of the state. 😊
Great video. Really interesting to see this. The Lone Ranger rock story was fascinating. So much history. Thoroughly enjoying hearing about the history in your great country 👍
Thank you for watching. I can't show things that go back to the 13th century as you can but we do have some interesting things when we dig into it. Thanks again.
Awesome tour of Chatswood. I am grateful they saved the church from Demolition. I was a huge fan of Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers, my mother and I would watch many of their films. I saw Canadian Geese when I was in New Jersey in 2007 and 2009. I think it is almost time to revisit the US if they ever let us out again. Thank you for a great episode.
Thanks so much for watching. As crazy as it sounds sometimes the visits to the graveyard coupled with the other places just make it that much more fun. The reason Fred and Ginger ended up in the same graveyard is strictly because of their mothers and not because of their work. Thanks for commenting as we really appreciate it.
Didn’t realize so much history in Chatsworth!! Who doesn’t love a good Western!!?? Great to see where some of the movies were filmed!! Enjoyed the video and glad we connected 😊
Thank you so much for watching. We appreciate the comments very much. We tried to cover a lot of ground so there would be something for everyone. Thanks again.
This was super educational and awesome, I grew up watching sooo many westerns. Like most kids I wanted to be a cowboy because of that. The Lone Ranger was my #1 favorite. :D Still think the Grapes of Wrath is one of the best movies/books of all time. Thanks for taking us along on this one! Chatsworth is the real deal. -Seth
Glad you watched and we thank you for that. Doing the movie and TV locations is always a fun one and we learn from them as well. Thanks for the great comments as they are really appreciated.
We have been in the West Valley and Simi most of our lives as well. We Vlog about mostly SoCal and we love to show Chatsworth as there is so much history there. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you can. Thanks also for the comments.
We haven’t been to California yet. Chadwick sounds like an amazing place to visit. We are both old western fans growing up on shows like Bonanza. We loved Roy and Dale too. I read a sweet book written by Dale Evans about one of their daughters who died young. She was special needs. I believe the name of the book was, “An Angel Among Us”. The Movie Ranch has a lot of history. Lone Ranger Rock-now that brings back memories. So much history in this town.
Thank you for saying it was a great video as we had a lot of fun making it. Chatsworth is a very interesting place and they have made a lot of movies there. It is still being used in many areas for movies even today. Thanks so much for watching.
I watch reruns of the 1950s classic Highway Patrol with Broderick Crawford every morning. So many scenes were filmed in the then largely rural Chatsworth.
Randy went to school through all the years in Chatsworth and Christina went to school in Simi. There is a lot of history in Chatsworth and it is fun to explore that area. Thanks for watching our channel.
I lived in Chatsworth from 1993 to 2001.....the music group Depeche Mode filmed the video for the song "Halo" off their 1990 album "Violator" up by Stoney Point..... You can also catch a young Jenna Elfman as one of the dancing girls in that video.
That is so cool. Did not know that information. So much has been filmed and recorded in Chatsworth over time. Did you know that the group Steely Dan recorded the entire Pretzel Logic album at what use to be the Cherokee Ranch. Thanks so much for watching.
Very informative video about Chatsworth. So much movie history there!
A lot to discover in the world when you dig deep. Thank you so much for watching and we do appreciate the comments.
Loved the Roy Rogers information. I loved Bonanza when I was growing up. Loved Lone Ranger Rock. Great tour that brought back nice memories. 👍#25

Lovely relaxing video, I grew up here and this was nostalgic. Sadly a lot of landmarks were removed like the Hells Angels clubhouse.
Thanks for watching our video.
Very cool! Love the train station. Great landscape, but too bad so much has been developed.
Yes the open space areas are starting to go away. There is not much left in that respect. Thanks so much for watching.

I used to ride horses on the 118 when it was just dirt. 1981
yes so did I. It was just a big open patch of land for a long time. So many great memories. Thanks for watching.
