@Aden Jason i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@@josemucarselsacoto5122 if you dislike videos, similiar vids will not show up on your newsfeed. I'm assuming that the dislikes are people who have got their dose of Daru and couldn't fit in any more!
Phil I greatly appreciate the programs you are putting out for us. I've done Muay Thai for ten years and since you've put your videos out I've drastically increased my kicking power and I can tell the penetration on the bag is nice and deep to the point that the skin on my shin becomes fire engine red. Though I'm 52 and I've served 3 tours in Iraq, parts of Africa and the Persian Gulf with an injury that required surgery and three screws in my neck(had to stop jiu jitsu) I still do about 8 to 9 three minute rounds on a heavy bag and follow most of your training techniques. With the training you put out you've inspired vets(I know a few that watch your video) that do train and others that has sustained injury to keep pushing forward. This video will no doubt make my kicks stronger and I want to say thank you and god bless.
MikeMMA brother that’s great to hear and thank your for the support I truly appreciate it. I can assure you I will keep progressing these videos in due time and make the most out of your time viewing them. Keep inspiring and keep pushing forward reading the has also inspired me to keep producing content and giving you all quality information to take with you for ever. Thanks again keep being GREAT!
Was searsching for strenght workout for kicks yesterday i did some basic shit ! Today god gave me this master piece ! Gonna try some this week great great work daru!
Been training MT and have been wondering if there were specific exercises I could do to help increase power outside of working on my actual kicks, so thank you for this
I haven't even finished watching the video and I already know it's gold. I've been looking for a solid contribution to strength training focusing on the muscular chain of kicks in the taekwondo technique for a long time and I couldn't find it.
this type of exercise are unique if you ask me,i never seen this kind of exercises not on youtube not at the gym.thank you very much for your content,i am very sure you are going to hit 1 milion subscribes in one or two years.regards from Romania and wait for a lot videos like that in the future

Finally some one who doesn't just tell the viewer to just do kicks and that's it. Maybe videos about specific kicks would be nice. Like strength training for front kick or side kick. Loved the video though, very informative.
I must confess - I wasn’t expecting the video to be this good. I appreciate that you identified the key elements of three different kicking styles. Thank you!
Amazing content! I trained in martial arts mainly for just Recreation but I also weight train 3 to 4 days a week. For the most part I try to keep my training functional and these exercises will definitely enhance my abilities. Another great video thanks!
@@twentyonetortas5921 I say Recreation because I don't really do that much sparring or competing anymore. And these days it's mainly a lot of kickboxing drills, heavy bag work and Shadow Boxing. A lot of fun and a great workout!
I’m joining an Mma gym in 4 weeks, and I’ve been following your videos for the last two weeks and going forward > I’m obsessed with soaking in your knowledge and the training it self I feel insanely good
It's a mystery to me great and useful videos like these don't pop up Everytime i search for muay Thai conditioning. Im a year late but thanks man very very cool and informative presentation!💪💪💪
Yes, keep up with videos like these and the ones where you include fighters training. Only thing about this video, that music was a bit too loud to hear you speak.
Great video mate, really loving your stuff atm 👍 Would be good to see a similar video on punching power? Or a really cool one on strength / power for Muay Thai clinch? Thanks Bro 💪
Well all I can say is wow I’ve not been following you for long but I’m definitely going to carry on following you I’ve learned a hell of a lot from watching your videos could you help me with some advice please I’ve been doing Thai Boxing but I’ve had trouble with my arms and shoulders burning out lack of endurance in my shoulders and arms the lactic acid buildup in my shoulders is unbelievable how can I over come this so that I can punch constantly with power and strength and also have the strength and endurance to tie them up in the clinch to deliver knee strikes elbows and throw my opponents down advice would be well appreciated Kind Regards Tony
As a Krav Maga practitioner, and a former ITF Taekwon-Do practitioner, I am going to try this for sure 😎👍 Kicks are still my main weapons, although I'm not using those fancy 360 kicks etc anymore 😂 Anyways, my question is this; IF... I want to focus on all those areas you have covered here, how would you program it? 3 days a week on each aspect covered, or can they all be covered in one workout? Thanks alot for this video 🙏
Coach Anthony UFC shut my account down from 2017 post of one of my fighters winning a fight looking to get it back soon. Send me an email though been looking to link up Phil@darustrong.com
Thank you for all these amazing videos. Just got your fightcampconditioning program. Question? How many times a week should i do these exercises??? Thank Coach!!!
Thanks a lot Sir! Just came across your chanel and its what ive been looking for for a long time. Just a question, how long does it take to notice difference in power? E.g,Do you need to do this 2 times a week for a 8 week period or does it work differently. Thanks !Keep em comming
Hi, my kicking style is sorts mix of all the styles, i try to take the most beneficial aspects of any style and incorporate it in my own. So what could happen if i do a mixture of all the exercises you taught in the vid? Let me know, thanks.
Hey Phil, what do you think of kettlebell swings or barbell cleans to increase power for all the forms of the front kick...teep, push? I've already incorperated 4 exercises from this video into my routine. Thx!
Would you elaborate about the ecentric portion of the lift. As you told that in order to produce optimal force we need to relax and contract the muscle. For example in deadlifts we increase power production more if we do only concentric portion. My doubt is that how ecentric movement hamper power production and decrease overall strength gains. I hope you understand what i mean... Thank you
Hello, first of all I must say I'm very much enjoying your content! I used to do MMA and before that Karate as a kid, then I switched to bodybuilding for a while and now I'm back doing MMA. I put on a lot of weight and strength due to the bodybuilding but I'm now more focused on exercises that translate into MMA, but I yet have to find a good MMA gym and have to earn some money for the subscription (I'm a student). I was just wondering how/if you periodize weightlifting work for fighters. Do you use blocks, for example strentgh 4 week block - speed 4 week block - hypertrophy 4 week block - endurance 4 week block... or do you combine them into 1 weekly schedule or even within 1 workout? I hope my question is clear and I hope you can answer it. Thank you.
Phil, I have many back problems, hyperlodosis, which i believe is the reason my lower back is so weak, scoliosis... what kinda of training do you reccomend?
This was an awesome video, thank you for it. But I did have a question. Is this an entire work out on its own? should I try to implement this before or after a training session or weight lifting routine? Thank you.
Hi Phil, What are your thoughts on using leg extensions on a leg extension machine to increase front leg kicking power? I would think that light weight with emphasis on peak contraction and hold at the top is the way to go. Please let me know your thoughts. Also, Thanks for the excellent videos!
