Ready an' Willing was the third studio album by English hard rock band Whitesnake, released in 1980. It peaked at No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart, it was also the band's first to chart outside of the UK reaching No. 32 in Norway and No. 90 in the US.
With Ian Paice and Jon Lord, you can't go wrong.

Everyone always slam them for sounding like Zeppelin But with few obvious exceptions They most of the time were closer to Humble Pie, Bad Company, Thin Lizzy, Foghat type. Just r&b/boogie hard rock
Zeppelin was blues based , covered without admit it some old blues stuff .
Jimmy borrowed some stuff of Jeff beck both yarbirds and truth album.
Zep, trapeze , Whitesnake took from Beck.
Beck is one of favorite musician of David .
Also Robert took a lot from Steve marriot , and David was probably inspired too in high stuff
Glenn hughes screams like steve On medusa s trapeze too.

One of my top 20 favorite albums ever!!! That says a lot because I'm into like 40 bands. This is easily the best lineup and album of Whitesnake. Yes, even better than 1987.
