Ready an' Willing was the third studio album by English hard rock band Whitesnake, released in 1980. It peaked at No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart, it was also the band's first to chart outside of the UK reaching No. 32 in Norway and No. 90 in the US.
RIP Bernie Marsden (May 7, 1951 - August 24, 2023), aged 72
You will be remembered as a legend.
May Bernie forever rock in peace. Very very sad news. I am 48 and got into Whitesnake in 1979 when I was only 5 because of my beloved now late dad. This loss hurts so much.

Runwithawolf. Didn't see them but had all the early Whitesnake. Actually, Come and Get It and Ready and Willing were my faves. This lineup was the seminal band to me. Paice, Lord and Coverdale helluva thing. Bernie made his debut with Paice, Ashton and Lord..far as I know. Malice in Wonderland BBC is a piece. Lord and Paice. What's not to love?

The missing link between Stevie Wonder's Superstition and Pantera's Psycho Holiday, this may sound crazy but it's exactly what I feel when I hear this song, I love it as much as I love Wonder and Pantera!!!
David and stuff loved Stevie monder and Jeff beck as well .

And the bass line is very similar in the second part on solo section in psycho holiday .

Nu metal , or Hardcore metalcore deathcore band just took 2 elements of Pantera without knowning or understand the depth and where Pantera came from .
They took the tone of FBD and the Hardcore screaming .

Phil can scream his balls off , but he could sing , his roots as far or breathing technique , colors , dynamics range are in Judas Priest and bands like this .
