As someone who is studying the ways of Druids, since my last name was registered in the texts as a Druid bard from the Welsh, this out of this world amazing! Its like she would be the opposite of Hekate, or could be one in the same as I have known other pathos among pagans. But as I am learning truths of my ancestors and the electric nature of humans, this feels right and true for me.
Very interesting video lass well done, I really have to venture more into the Welsh & Scottish Mythologies at some point, so many similarities with Irish myths, Fionn and druid Finnagus/the salmon of knowledge rings strong at points here, go raibh maith agat.🌠☘🌅
I completly agree with you. A lot of similarities between the stories and even the chatacters. Would be very interesting where the roots of those stories lie.
@@kianukasceltictales3403 Definitely, oh an request wise I'd probably vote for Lugh🌅 or Brigid🔥(I've heard next year there will be an official bank holiday in her honour in Eire) or perhaps the battle of the Ford between Cuchulain and Ferdia. Some versions of that tale always hit me hard.☘
What a wonderful video! Thank you so much! Your voice, the background music and images are really nicely put together and make it very pleasurable to watch and listen. Also the length and density of information is perfect. Congrats and keep on :)
Awesome Irish lore videos. Many of these need to be made in films or short movies Question, by any chance would Cerridwen, be a partial inspiration for Jadis the White Witch From the Chronicles of Narnia?
Thank you very much for the compliment😊 Regarding Jadis, it's an interesting question, but I'm afraid I can't tell. Of course it could be, but Jadis seems to be very cold and revenge driven, while, even though she is a white witch too, Ceridwen is a mother type and full of wisdom. While Jardis seems to try to get Power no matter who she hurts in the process, Cerridwen does have Power but uses it to help the people, not striving to be more than she is (powerwise). So, even though C.S . Lewis might have used welsh Mythology as a source of inspiration for his tales, I fail to see a Real connection between Jadis and Cerridwen, for in my head they are pretty much opposite characters.🤔 Then again, to my shame, I haven't read the Chronicles of Narnia yet and am only judging from the movies.😅 I suspect you have read the books, I'm curious, what parallel do you see between those two white witches?
Your voice is magical. Thanks for the informative video 🙏
