I don't know if epoxy floor coatings are the same as automotive, but to apply in winter is not good advice either if it gets as cold as it does here. Many automotive epoxys will go dormant and never cure properly if temperatures not high enough and kept there for an appropriate amount of time. I just checked the product data sheet for the floor coating they used, and it says do not apply when the substrate and ambient temperatures are below 40 degrees F. Always read your product data sheets and follow them before using a product. Looks nice but there is still no room to park cars in it. PS thanks for your service.

I'm of the opinion that it takes a complete TEAM effort for a family to have success in the military, 100% of each spouse - none of this 50%/50% stuff. One of my active duty sons HAS EARNED all those tabs as well, so awesome👍Great job on this project, Grammie (my wife) and I just got to the part where our garage is empty and clean. Are yall still in Texas. I just retired from trucking. I was stationed at Warner Robbins AFB in 80 to 84. Ironically im back here retired. I was looking to build my ultimate garage when I came across this video.
Went on you tube for the 50th time and again tonight. (I literally just put down my final top coat in my garage just now). I'm getting the same exact tool box and side bins but in black and and do not want black, seen your yellow and now convinced! T.y. for easing my mind with the yellow combination.
I definitely love the new look to the garage...AMAZING!!! My question is: What size totes are those and where to get the Tote Rack from? Thanks in advance.

Anyway, i stumbled across your video and it was so great! BTW...my dad was 1st Cav WWII, and my brother just retired from the Army; he was also 1st Cav. When i saw the patch at the end, the yellow garage made total sense! 💛

dang - nice! you are right, keeping to a color scheme really pulls the space together.
Spray paint the chrome handles on the us general boxes black, they come off super easy and hold up surprisingly well.

Use a paint roller when doing epoxy flooring.
We used a brush for the edges and a roller for the rest of the floor.

They are all the same size except a few on the top. Those were smaller.
