had a similar problem with my mother and her boyfriend, who served time in the military. He had a bunch of friends who passed away. Being that, he also accumulated a lot of memorabilia from his fallen comrades. I suggested that he clean the place once, but gave me a look that I won’t forget.
Shortly thereafter, during a small stint at a reunion for fallen soldiers, I called for the services of Jux Los Angeles, a garage and attic cleaning / reorganization company, based in southern a California. My mother’s boyfriend wasn’t pleased with what I had done at first. As a week passed by since the renovation, much to his chagrin, he had to tell me that the place looked so different and that now, he has a place where he can honor his brothers and sisters; in his garage ( I made it extra special and hung up some uniforms his comrades wore on the garage walls…)

Actually, television showed their garage in disarray; living as such. Occassionally, in such setting one don't know where or how to organize and become overwhelmed. I believe they will keep garage organized.😎

@@blazebrown9102 no, it is not, I helped my in-law with their messy garage cleanup and build some bigger shelves, organized all the items by categories. seems fool proofs. 2 months later mess in the center of the garage again!! I asked what happened here??

The overhead bin is something different than usual, but the other ideas of buying shelves and putting things on the shelves...well that's just normal stuff. Also if you compare what we saw at the beginning of the video inside the garage, not all these things have been put back into the garage by the end of the video. So in short, another way to declutter is to get rid of stuff. OMG someone should pay me for this info.
I dont know if true about no put all his things , I am not the owner I dont check all things but i know it if org. the ting I can put more but put in the cellings I dont know if its a good thinking

I'm lucky to have a 14 foot high garage. I built shelves two rows down from the ceiling all around. This has freed up the whole garage floor so I could make my wood shop.

their garage isnt nearly as bad as ours... but that improvement gives me hope that i too can improve the state of mine-
After watching this, I have no idea on how to analyze my storage needs and come up with the good storage plan for my garage.
Move to Australia, they'll figure it out for you ;) It wasn't very helpful for me either but the reminder of removing everything then putting it back in better order and getting rid/selling/gifting/donating unnecessary things was a useful reminder. Even moving everything from one end to another and systematically putting things back is a lot more effective than trying to pick at a big mass of stuff.

great watch! such a departure from american DIY shows. Everybody's a mate and every action together I feel like they can finish painting, have a quick fight, put together a cabinet, drink a beer, more chatting and fighting and BAM the garage is organized

That rail system is impressive, although I think it could've been better placed as one end looks blocked. Also it could've done with a lick of paint to blend in with the ceiling. Still impressive tho.

I like how all these 'experts' go with painting the garage floor. Its raining, you drive in, there have been some oily patches on the floor and slip, head crack........garage carpet???!

Violet DK ours has closed because bunnings turned it into a giant closing down firesale warehouse, nobody bought anything because it was so disorganised so now it’s gone. Thanks bunnings🙄🙄

Garage are supposed to be for cars not pilling up stuff. Houses should all come with more storage.
