This gets my creative juices flowing soo good... :D I wonder what different effects you can put through the same method and turn into a wavetable for basses but other stuff as well. If any of you got some ideas, please drop them down below. My gears are already turning hahaha
Yes!! This is amazing! I was wondering how I was going to start producing wave tables for this approach 😂… I will be grabbing these wave tables for sure!! You have a kick pack too, right?
@@Projektor_music Hi man! Just reaching out. I purchased the bass tables and I noticed that many of them look and sound the same. Is this correct? Really like some of them, but some doen change much at all when I oscillate the wavetable. Let me know if I am doing something wrong here :)
The next step is to prerender a few dozen filterpositions of the highcut with linear phase into individual wavecycles so that you can simulate the highcut by fading through the wavetable and can prevent the pitchdrift from the filtersweep
that's not needed, the phase shift from said filter is minimal compared to the processing. In these examples you can't detect any postringing with psyscope even though the filter is being applied... also you will loose the detail of the current morph function of the wavetables...
@@Projektor_music It really isnt. the most noticable problem with phaseshift from a lowpass filter is the fact that the pitch changes, which to me is annoying af. i posted some examples in your discord.
Thank you, i was looking for this one. Big help your channel. One request; maybe you can do a video about your BassTables pack. Just a very basic slow one where you take your tables as a startingpoint and explain a little bit more about the different tables and the type of basslines every category of tables is aiming at. 3k wavetables is a bit much to select from. Great to have it though! Not everybody has the concentration or interest to go that much in depth about basslines as you do and it is probably also not needed to make interesting psytrance tracks to go that deep once you have found your basstables pack (as a comment to your other in depth video's). In short; quick and dirrty (but sounding great) will do for some of us.
@@Projektor_music Cool, i will stay tuned for that session in september. It seems you introduced some kind of bassline language with the Bumps at certain frequencies, Flip and Lin. How does this relate to what we hear in basslines? would be interesting to know and get familiar with. And.. How about the opportunity for this session to ask about a certain bassline from a released track that we really like. Offcourse not possible or needed to mimic 100% but to get in the direction would be great.
It doesn't... those names are descriptions of the phase shifting process used to create the table, and they vary wildly in character depending on curve and frequency. I don't do individual artist requests anymore, but i can say that you can try to match phase shifting on psyscope. I'll talk about that process when I end up making a video on it, although the whole explanation of the pack may be better for just a chapter in a bigger video!
The Goat has hit again 🎉🎉🎉 will 100% grab and use it... u know what a timesaver u are for ppl like me who just have enough time to work in their own DAW? Thx man ✋️✋️✋️
Hey dude, nice videos, I watched a lot on kick bass, even the 3h one. Learned a lot , thank you. What I don’t really get is why is it important in psytrance to apply phase processing to the bass as I saw you do a lot with mphase
Thanks, I'm glad you like the content! The idea behind phase processing is that phase is essentially delay (Dan Warroll is mad at me for saying it and I know it's not true, but stick with me here). we delay certain frequencies slightly such that other frequencies have more space. A saw wave click is essentially an inpulse, meaning it contains all frequencies. To get the nice click transient we need to delay certain frequencies such that others come out more in the transient itself. That is essentially what we are doing (very basically sorry)
@@andreigheorghiu I do believe I cover this in my ultimate guide quite well actually, in fact I bellieve I even mention that the delaying of frequencies is the goal. I did hint to Dan Warroll for more information in my last comment, he knows more than me about phase but not in a psytrance context, in a general mixing context!
Hallo! What do you mean? You said it is not a ready a wavetable since i"m not import bevore to phaseplant wich i don't own. When i search the file inside the oscilator i can import to there. What i'm misunderstood? Thank you
are you talking about the part where I explain how I made the wavetable pack? yeah you don't have to do that when using the wavetable pack I already made...
Hello! I do the kick and bass in Ableton as in the video, then export it to a wav file and continue working in FL Studio. Tell me, is it possible to do this? Or is the sound disrupted?
Bro you are so talented, you blow my mind every time i watch one of your videos. It amazes me what you can create
Thanks man!
nice work!
That's an incredible amount of work dude!
Thanks! I hope you enjoy the pack!
I found your channel and thought 'ok just another music channel' but this was next level!.
Subscribed and liked!

you could do that, but why not immediately make the kick & bass in FL?
@@Projektor_music I don't know how to do this in Fl Studio ((
Could you make a tutorial on the sound in the background, its like a dripping sound at the end 19:40 ?
I'll have a short on it coming soon!
