I just realized that all I need to do in Vital is to have a couple LFO's switch between oscillators, one with fundamental and one without. No need to have 2 instances of Vital running. Lol, I was doing things the hard way.

Very simple, but very effective. You have a real skill in presenting things like this so succinctly. It's posts like this where I'm proud to have been a Patreon subscriber to you for years. Keep up the great work. Better baselines for everyone 😀

I like always the powerfull melodic riff with the bass... I wonder then... why the other grooves? Yet I did a composition the other day using a mere up beat gallop bass because I was a bit doubtful regarding the main melody, so it was like... "just drop the gallop groove and enjoy the ride". Finally, this specific track can't have a powerfull melodic riff. I think it 's due the complexity of the whole track... don't know... but it fits perfect.

Instead of sidechaining the kick and bass I skip the bass when the kick hits. It looks like this kick, bass, bass, bass and repeat. What do you think about that approach? It sounds good to me at least.
