@@MrThaigamer forget the concepts, gameplay was also pretty interesting specially when played in realism mode, don't really remember the name of the difficulty setting lol
yeah my head Canon for this game is its set during the early days of the unsc-insurrection war. Pretty sure at one point in the pre-covenant halo univetse there was an extremist group that formed on Mars
@@Gameprojordan The rainforest wars and the Mars Campaign. As human inequality ramped up, two main groups emerged: communists, and neo-fascists. With opposing beliefs about how the world should be run (communists opposing worldwide capitalist corruption, and the neo-fascists who advocated for it) it became the first major interplanetary conflict, which ended with the emergence of the UNSC and the unstable political unity of humanity.
I think The futuristic backdrop isn’t the Main issue its more the details and design choices of the game such as robots, wrist pads and boost jumps that all draw out and ruin the modern backdrop, and a lot of cod fans want for a realistic story , that also made this game more of a cheap gimmick
Fast fact: the only moon in the Solar System with any significant Atmosphere (which would also mean weather patterns like storms), is one of Jupiter's moons Titan. Here at the beginning of this game as they are landing on Europa, another moon of Jupiter's, you can see storms and clouds in the air. While it adds visual effects and appeal to the game, the reality is that if the soldiers were to be jumping onto the surface, the clouds and storms would be nonexistent and the descent would be completely clear of any clouds or weather patterns.
Саурон Великий If anything the multiplayer is disappointing Zombies was fun and the campaign in my opinion is goat in this era of the series. But disappointing that it kinda played any other cod. This game needed to add in rpg and rts elements to its gameplay. Not saying turn it into a final fantasy or xcom game but something a little different to the series.
Infinite Warfare is proof that sometimes you don't really need to burden your product with social commentaries and Current Year thoughts for it to be good.
I can see some similarity between this and the Piccadilly mission in MW19. Both missions feature terrorists and both protagonists were tied by the rules of engagement.
One of my favorite COD campaigns, the moment of going from the ground to space to this day is still amazing! Also I'm just finding out the person that voice Salters is the lady from Law & Order SVU.
I love this game, it's my second COD game behind MW (2019) and in front of BO3. (Say what you want, I liked BO3, even though it's infamous for being unrelated to the OG BO games.)
Probably one of the most solid campaigns in terms of writing, characters, optional gameplay/missions, atmosphere, soundtrack and theme. It's a shame it's multiplayer was pretty rubbish, feel that the "future" setting also wasn't the most sought after at the time of release. But campaign alone this is defo up there with the best that cod has made so it's a shame that not many people got to experience how good it really is.
Isn't Geneva in Switzerland? Kinda sounds like this game thinks its in the midwest of the U.S. “lets give a big Geneva welcome!” He said in his best Indiana accent....
IW campaign is cool and all but I still don't understand why Martians hates the shit out of our guts. If it's for the resources why not go interstellar?
Okay now that F-SPAR cannon on the Olympus Mons is a waaaaaay better weapon than that idiotic dildo-shaped superlaser on a fucking Xyston star destroyer.
as someone who lives in Switzerland i can confirm that we have massive spaceships flying around in geneva
amazing what all that nazi gold can buy
Man this game is so underrated and underappreciated
My thoughts exactly, one of my favorite campaigns.
True
I kinda like their concepts of futuristic military
Always fun and fasinating to watch

@@arjunasajith4447 #YOLO maybe?
The one that if you die you have to start the campaign all over again
Fun fact: the actress who played Salter, also voiced Roze in MW
That’s cool, I never knew that.
This is basically early UNSC meets the expanse

With the story of Gundam of all things.
Never realize the game i hate is the most intense and emotional CoD of all entire franchise
Nick Reyes: "S.C.A.R.'s fold in! We're going upstairs!"
This game gets way too much hate that it doesn’t deserve
Same as ghosts
I think the main problem was that people were getting tired of the far future setting, I know I was
@@DylanoRevs not that much
I’m still waiting on the Ghosts sequel.

Because fans were sick of the futuristic stuff.
Salter would later retire from SATO and become an SVU detective.
Lol... Law and order?

2:53 First appearance of ETHAN(the greatest robot ever!)
this campaign is honestly in my top 3 there was a lot of freedom but it was all mission related kinda
Kinda dumb, having every ship in the fleet in one place. No wonder so much damage was done.
well the whole idea was they were relying on the anti Air guns to keep the perimeter safe but they got hacked and used against the ships at the party
How were they suppose to know their guns would turn on them? They were at a uneasy peace, till they started a war.
Right under Geneva's noses
Kind of like the US pacific fleet at Pearl Harbor in WWII.
Also the SDF lost the war in two days after loosing most of their ships if not all their ships at Mars. So both sides are idiots.
