Hi Roger. Enjoying you videos and following you instructions I am now catching more fish. At the moment I am at Pambula beach and last night Wednesday evening I caught a 55 cm salmon and the same size golden travelly thanks mate. Colin
Great video as usually roger! but i think you have an editting problem between minute 18 and 24 approximately. It seems you have the same part doubled.
The flats used to be where I would spend most of my time fishing and 4lb mono with the smallest sinker and a small hook, could catch a feed when told there was nothing about, always had the yabby pump for free bait
Great video Roger, love every one!Learnt the hard way that beach worms can be dangerous too. Failed to catch any using your instructions, but nice guy finishing up dropped some fresh ones in my hand. One of the big bu$$ers latched onto my palm and gouged out a 5mm wide and deep hole, painful as for days😮 Keep it up mate!
Good session Roger me mate. I like your style and the content is always educational. Your wisdom and experience entices me to go fishing… all the best from Moe town in Gippsland.😂
Such humble yet soooo 🎉🎉exciting adventures we always find pleasure in either following or accompanying u guys including ur Mrs Camerawoman😮😅😂😂❤...just thinking Roger after considering urll Blessed with such good fishing yields and spots the fish bite almost immediately compared to our SA shorelines ..I humbly suggest that you bait up both rods...cast first one then quickly put into rod stand ..this way you shorten the tym of baiting up the other rod...so in few seconds both rods are out there one to hold and feel for bite n other to observe same tym❤❤❤❤❤
Another cracking video roj! I've actually been wanting to purchase a tackle bag... maybe another video idea. Id love to get any suggestions and recommendations how to kit it out.
Squirt worms..just use a large(long) tin can...big jam tin...turn upside down...liwet over wirm hole push hard down with your foot...the air pressure forces the worms out of their holes...
You'll love it. Every time I pump baits I'll get a group of curious kids typically under 10 come up to me to see what I'm doing and wanting to have a go and they'll have so much fun. Free labour and free bait haha can't lose 😂
I am bit confused with the left and the right hand how do you know which side you should basically be having your real side to bring the fish in. So I am a right-hander does that mean my right hand should be on the rod then my left hand is the reeling the fish in? Please help
A lot of reel handles are interchangeable. When spinning I find it easier to cast right hand and use the left to turn the reel handle shortly after the lure hits the depth I want but it is really up to what you find most comfortable with.
@SaMaNtHa.2023 If you are right handed, cast with your right hand/arm and wind with your left hand. Any other way is inefficient and in the circumstances where milliseconds of reaction time are needed, can lose you fish. Some, like Roger, learn the other way and have to live with it for the rest of their lives.
Hi Roger , love watching your clips form way up here in Canada and I have been able to apply some of your Technics here to freshwater . Question , what type of dead bait rig would you use in fast river current ? Im using a 2 OZ dollar weight to keep it on the bottom, what would be your choice of rig ?
Hi Reg, thanks for saying Hi. Regarding your question, I have some questions. Do you want to hold position. What type of river bottom is it? Is it rocky?
Why don't you do a boating fishing session.either drifting or anchored to show which is best.your sth coast estuaries are fantastic for this.cheers Roger.
Rog sorry mate we all love to collect Worms for fishing, we all love to cut firewood when we are camping but these days can you believe it us Aussies can’t cut wood for our campfire anymore. Won’t be long you will not be able to collect tidal worms. Mark my word mate it’s coming & so are the Commos. Or who ever you think in this country that’s causing devide.
Hi Roger. Does your wife ever fish with you, or is she always the dedicated camera person? Would be nice to get to know the person behind the camera as well...she`s obviously got loads of patience...the mark of a good fisherman. 😂
When are you and Starlo going to have your next session. Keen to watch that Roger..
My son James Callahan and l were big fans of you and show thanks Roger

"Very little danger at all, hardly any danger" Ha ha ha! Lovin' your style, Roger.
Great video as usually roger!

I'll have a look Dan, thanks.
Yes I thought my phone played up
You’re right mate.
Very enjoyable watching Roger and a nice quiet location.
Glad you enjoyed it

Loved watching this fishing video Roger. Excellent teacher, Ray Walton. B Bay.
Hi Ray, thanks mate.
Yer Roger I like that sort of fishing
Promising signs for a ripper summer on the flats. Awesome video Rodger 👍
Yes Gary I agree.

There may be no crocodiles but something I did see on someone's video at Lake Illawarra was a Box Jellyfish......a bit worse than a bluebottle sting!
nice to hear about all the realties of fishing Roger, another great session.
Thank u. Excellent fishing. Plus, u caught a Roger 😂.
Good session Roger me mate.
I like your style and the content is always educational. Your wisdom and experience entices me to go fishing… all the best from Moe town in Gippsland.😂
Thanks, much appreciated
Nice fishing with the light tackle 🎣🎣🎣💪
Just wondering what in your backpack Roger. Always enjoy your fishing videos.
Pleasure to watch. Nice bag of fish for dinner.
Glad you enjoyed it
Used squirt worm as a kid in Vic, 20 cents a box but they used dry fine sand which hardened them up.
Sounds good.
Thanks Roger, nice 🎣

Hi Roger, great work mate but I think you need longer rod holders.
Another cracking video roj! I've actually been wanting to purchase a tackle bag... maybe another video idea. Id love to get any suggestions and recommendations how to kit it out.
Editing issues.? Love your videos. Never missed one. My Saturday afternoon is spent watching your vedeos
Awesome! Thank you!
nice work mate
21:08 heh heh the "director" wasn't happy with you annunciation.
31:10 your bream looks like our barred grunter 😮
Would you know if you can get these baits around Adelaide South Australia of the beaches or West Lakes and stuff like that?
You need to try Mel Spikes (Spikes Fishing Australia) glow ball sinkers. They do great in attracting fish...
Okay I’ll check them out
was there a sting ray right under your rod like the whole time??
Got to get myself the pump for collect baits

Your other reel almost got submerged underwater, Roger. Pretty big tide.
Yes I did notice that 😬
Yes I noticed that too! I would never let my Stradic’s or any of my reels get submerged like that!
Hi Roger which rod do you recommend me to use
what size rod and reel you running thanks Roger

@@RogerOsborneFishing Yes ,hold position , rocky bottom
what is the size of the worm hooks you use to catch the whiting
Looks like a 1 or 1/0
Size 2 😊
I ask do you do any drone fishing/
Not as yet Ralph.
Saltwater in your reel...😯😯😯
Lol i wouldn't recommend it but if you flush them out and maintain them regularly then it really isn't anything to worry about in my opinion
Yes, it was close. The tide was moving up.
Yep,watching your reel drowning 😮
Roger why have you started using braid?
I use both mono and braid. Braid mainly with lures.
Why don't you do a boating fishing session.either drifting or anchored to show which is best.your sth coast estuaries are fantastic for this.cheers Roger.
Thanks for the suggestion, Ken, I plan to do some boat videos over the next few months.
W vid
😂✌️🐟🐠🐟🐠👏👏👍
Unfortunately if you stand in an estuary like that by us you would become the bait , way to many Zambezi shark (bull sark)
Hi Roger can you give me a gps maps location iam visiting my family from south Africa and i would love toe take my grandson fishing i love your videos
Any East Coast estuary...
