big fan homie. I have a serious suggestion that you should 100% do, after every detail leave a air refresher or a tag that hangs on the blinker with "top class detail" so the customer is always reminded of you. And if anyone gets in the car it may spark a discussion or something leading to more customers. This is something that you shouldn't think about and is great for business. But a big fan bro keep the work up
Thats the move👍🏽
Solid advice.
Where can I get a custom one?
Noice
Solid blessing !
Love the hustle of this young man! Very professional and respectful. His parents did a great job raising him!👏👏👏👏
Respect to these guys who work hard to earn a living and not waste their lives doing stupid things. Much respect.....
Yea, I think for that area and the service you could charge $200-$250 for the clay bar and seal
That’s stupid af
Thats what my husband charges for a full detail 😅
@@NoSpillsChills why is it stupid? I charge 180-250 for a clay and seal. Not touching the interior. Customers happily pay my prices and refer me all the time. Am i stupid ?
Agreed plus a 30mile drive I am not sure if that was a one way or not. This could’ve easily been a $300 job
You guys don’t understand detailing a clay bar could go from 20-60 dollars and if it falls on the floor you cant use it.
The prices are on point boss!!!! My detailer has charged me up to $500.00 for my truck. Clay and wax are the way to go on a black car. That helps avoid the black circles. Keep charging what you're worth!!!! Know your value your work speaks for itself.
Your detailer is ripping you off
@@masterdetail3432 I agree your getting hella ripped off at that price .
Much respect! I started a little Mobil Carwash here in Vegas for friends/ family and your content has been helping a lot. Keep the grind and hustle going…. Thank you for all you do!
Bro you guy’s make a good team ! Bro behind the camera has a great attitude as well.
Isn't this the same guy who asks tony from Tony's professional service? Voice sounds familiar lol
First things first. Much respect to you. I feel that the work you did was worth a lot more but I also feel that if you don't make on one job but you can make it up on another that takes you less time and you make more money. Keep up the great work.
Liquid waxes give more depth but sealants typically last longer. I don’t have a service that is a wash only. My base exterior detail is a wash, clay bar, 1yr spray coating and dressed. Vehicles come out fantastic!
What 1 year coating do you use?
You undercharging bro...if you compare your pricing with other detailers then your pricing should be competitive in the market.
Much blessings 🙌
Keep on detailing!!
I use same carpro hydro , and started trying meguiars m127 and 303 sealant , also griots garage 3 in 1 ceramic
I charge $225 to strip wash, clay, and apply a very durable sealant to the paint, glass, and wheels. No interior work at all. CAT 6 DETAILING SERVICES, located in South Florida. I respect the hustle! 👍
You're worth more than that. I'm not in this industry but I do own a service business. You have to charge for the total time. 30 miles there and back plus the cleaning. If you charged me $300 plus I wouldn't blink.
James, you always inspire my family. Watching from the Philippines!
Bro you got insurance? Do you have your customer sign contracts? Should also look into an LLC if you haven’t already to protect your business and assets. Never know when you will deal with a customer that may take legal action if they are unhappy with your service.
That’s exactly what i was thinking too 🤔
Exactly these detailers think it’s all fun and games till someone files a lawsuit for damaging a car in any way.
@@thewiseguy7100 lmao he is licensed and insured
@@guillermoperez5964 How do you know? Not dissing the guy but one thing is damaging a Toyota/Honda/Nissan and another is damaging a car over 80k
@@thewiseguy7100 I’ve talked to him personally
You’re very educated bro! And honestly you charge great for the work you do. Hunter over charges for simple details imo
He actually doesn’t over charge. It’s all about finding the clients that are willing to pay your prices. You’ll notice the when you start to up your princess, you get less people that want their car washed and more that want them detailed.
@@fredojr1220 bingo. There are people willing to pay those prices. Just gotta find them
The price is a bit low for the service provided also considering you are using quality products.I would say $200-$275 would be more reasonable. that jesscar sealant is good stuff.
Just one tip as a detailer.. Your free hand should not lean on the car what so ever at any point. I might just be picky, but every little detail with contamination that is 100% avoidable...Should be avoided :)
Just a friendly tip.. Keep doing good man!
hola 👋 mucho la verdad te admiro por ser un chavo muy trabajador y inteligente y todo tu equipo está suave échale ganas muchacho espero hables español saludos
The goat himself 🐐💯
The only thing I would recommend not like you need my recommendation is investing in a steamer brother. I detail myself and it was probably the best purchase I’ve ever made! I’m sure you inspire a lot of people keep up the good work!
He has one but this was just a quick wipedown
I think for now your prices are great. As you gain more experience and you gain more customers and you're in the business longer you can start raising your prices more and more. But I think your prices are good honestly. I think they strike a good balance.
Thank you so much for giving out prices it help a lot of ppl who love detailing like myself and are thinking of doing it as a business.love how genuine you are. Gained a subscriber.
I think $150 is a fair price.
Issa steal
Your right on par with the DECON Wash & seal. Keep grinding
Three years from now i hope to detail just as well....keep it up..stay up....
I do detailing and I would charge around 200 for that and I’m in Texas remember always value your work bro you do good work I love the vids man keep it up love learning new things to put into my details in the future that u show on camera 🙌🏾🙌🏾
It’s true the new spray waxes work really well .. and ts the new way in my opinion
As a small business owner when it comes to peoples comment on Price.
it is based on what he feels he deserves and if he is comfortable today then those are HIS prices. He may change like we all do in the future as he feels His Time/Work is worth more. KEEP IT UP!
You should do a video on brushes, soaps, creams, etc., that you’d recommend for someone who wants to do a basic clean on their own car inside and out.
Claying with any clay causes (Damage) some clear coat is quite hard and won't show much marring but that's why I won't clay the vehicle without at least a light all in one polish. Anyone who says a clay doesn't cause light scratches isn't looking hard or doesn't have the eye for it. Keep up the work, prices are pretty cheap actually, I'm in MN and I charge $220 starting for interior seat shampoo is extra pet hair also extra.
Who cares. Ultimately it’s up to the customer. You are right but how many customers ACTUALLY care about insignificant blemishes that are inevitably going to happen.
If people actually cared about light scratches they wouldn’t take there car thru a drive thru wash
Nice Work. Keep up the great content! Proud at what you do. One car at a time.
i detail my S5 and S2k and its no joke ,at $150 w/ interior thats a steal put it up to 200 man and thats even cheap
He sounds educated on the price. Any detailer would just say their price. A great detailer will tell you their price and their competitors price. Good to know it all 👍🏼
I like the guy who ask the question and behind the camera lol
The clay bar is good for whenever your car has paint that your car paint haven’t sucked on and is good for removing mosquitoes
l love your video and the way you explain your process of each card and why 👏👏👏
That’s about how much I charge for an exterior only service for what you’re doing is 150 for sedans 165 for midsize trucks/SUVs and 180 for large trucks/3rd rows, so about the same and I’m in Kentucky.
- wash
- clay/iron treatment
- 1 step polish
- sealant
id say 200 is a good price but if you want a certain cliental that knows the worth of what they are getting 250-270 is a definite possibility
From the videos I’ve watched where you talk about your prices it sounds like you price as you go. I could be wrong. But you should have good better and best packages that way you can charge a little bit more and simplify your details. Instead of the customer saying “ I want this , this and this done how much?” better to say “here’s what I can offer this package is best for your car”
I live in FLA and people be detailing cars for $40 , $50 inside and outside.. of course no clay bar clear coat and paint correction... But even with that package they are charging $125 soo idk about ur prices may be too high or low... G.l with the business homie Much Love from FLA !!!!
Spray all day bro. Just as good as traditional paste sealants and it’s faster
Finally did good on the cup holder area 👌
I’m my area, 180 for the wash and wax and about 70-80 for that interior job. Around 250 seems about right for everything
UA-cam University! Hahaha, thats where I learned how to do paint corrections.
You going places I see it been here since like it started keep going!
That’s me every day I go to sleep astound 3 am and wake up at 7 but money motivates
This kid is a good example for this lazy generation keep the good work mate.
Brother James ! Love from Aus bro. Watch all your videos just because the way your so passionate it excites and educates me watching you do you bro!! Keep up the good work!!
P.S I ALWAYS SAID YOU CHARGE WAY TO LOW FOR THE GREATNESS YOU DO! i see the other people reyes in rollin with somedays and man u do better than ALL of them 100% no doubt. Cant Wait for you to Open a Shop and watch people line up just to get their car details by you bro!. Ill be watchin, go get em champ!
And Aus as in Australia my bruh : D
Respect the hustle.
Keep up the great content!
Rayes : Hey James do u go to sleep and wake up with the same sweaters and sweats every time?
Dude your Killing It. Im in New Orleans doing my hustle. But an easy $185
I just found you from Reyes the entrepreneur. Great work man
$200 since ur business is blowing u charge by what you know plus u give amazing results and u detail
That 170 was a steal.
In any business, you start low and build up trust in your customers and convey yourself in a confident manner. Build a relationship with your customers, especially with the ones you know will recommend you to others. You are young, let them know what your goals are, let them know that you give them a cheaper price but if they would spread the word and help you out. Believe me, people will help you out bro!
Were you in Azusa the other day? Could've sworn I seen you.
I remember I started my landscaping business when I was 20 years old. I’m from SA too that’s wussup bro
good job you are worth it !!
Your price is legit bro keep doing your thank if ever down in Sac tap In
It’s fire 🔥 going viral fr
$250 range for what you did. Or $350-$400 for exterior only work, enhance and protection. Charge more for a coating and considering your customer is a tight ass hit it with a one year coating.
Nice job stud
What's the purpose of the clay and seal?
On a vehicle with light contamination and very minor imperfections, light swirls, no oxidation, no marring, no water spots, no etching or scratches of any kind, it’s a cheaper option because it eliminates the polishing stage which drastically increases the price. A clay and seal gives you smooth and shiny paint, but without the cost of a wash, clay, polish, seal. On a vehicle with minor to no imperfections, it’s worth it.
I know you’re young and all but invest in nitrile gloves. You’ve probably already heard this but your hands will thank you later. Nice work!
Keep the hard work going, it'll pay off.
I was thinking you’re charging just right sometimes it’s not all about how high you charge but you still have to do quality work and customer service. I think that makes the customer happy and not feel like you’re highballing them. But it will make sense to charge around $200 for those kind of areas too so.
Has Reyes become your full time camera man?
Worth every penny bro.. good things dun come cheap..
Keep up the great work!
Here in a New York my cousin gets his BMW X6 detailed (not sure what it consists of ) but he says it’s $150
I have a question, how did you get so educated on the different products and use cases and what’s recommended for each situation? Is it from trial and error or did you go to some sort of school/course to understand this?
I would say it’s trail and error and also research, can learn loads just from watching other people.
So satisfied with your video
I love in north Georgia. I charge the same for that service.. Nice work
You are charging way to little. I live in Vermont and I pay $375 for an interior exterior and engine detail. I drive to dealer they don’t come to me. It takes them all day this does not include wax or sealer
Props ! Keep hustling brother
*Flaming Hot Fries are my favorite.*
I can say you're using too much wax on that pad it should be like 4-6 quarter size drops brotha, no hate just an observation and advice from a fellow detailer
Topclass 💖 super Hero
Love your work
From Sri Lanka buddy
We would charge 200cad in Ottawa .
One step polish with wax would be 450cad.
Love your videos, dude
I think 150 is a decent price for a clay and wax you still have a good income and the customer is happy with the price and he for sure will call you in the future or put word in for you . I think the sealant is a plus so I’d charge $35 extra for that
Prices are relative to customer and how much they value their vehicle and understanding of service. Some people want showcar look with swapmeet budgets. Price it right and your work and outcomes will sell themselves.
I charge $400 for a full exterior and full interior. I think u can definitely go higher on that price. I live in NYC but that area shouldn't be far off tho. But it also takes me 6-8 hours because I work alone. But they do leave their car with me tho. I'm not mobile. I only do 1 car a week. It's more of a hobby I use for pocket money.
A clay and seal here in NY is around 200-300
Yeah it is to little for that job I would be charging 250$
BTW the clay bar or mitt still causes marring ..its almost impossible to avoid even when working clean and alot of lubrication
Loving the videos bro.
Nice work and nice video bro, watch that clay mitt on the chrome though 👍🏻
Prices are good, but would consider raising. Maybe offer monthly discounts for various packages. Love watching your videos!!
The prices are decent others be going crazy with there prices, but you could definitely charge more they will pay
His pricing is to confusing .. got to keep it easy
It’s actually not confusing he has a few packages with a starting price but it may differ from customer to customer depending on package, location, how neglected the car is , last minute cst add on , car/suv/truck?
500 for a 1 step is crazy homie ur trippen
That right at the sweet spot but just look around an see what your people charging
Hell yeah bro… raise your prices. Your quality and customer service is worth $100 more easily
a little on the lower side. Could easily charge $200-250
Stressing about pricing is so relatable as a detailer LOL
Clay bar is an abrasive a very fine one but yes even light clay is abrasive and can cause micro scratches. I dropped a clay bar entirely and will only offer it if polishing is included. I offer a package for chemical decontamination to help with sealants bonding.
I thought the same but I’ve done cars and it just depends if the paint is hard or soft , some paints take it like a champ other don’t just my two cents
@@joedouglas2736 100% agreed. but even hard paint that has been out in the sun can have that same effect. It all comes down to use your best judgement. I just don’t do it and would rather educate and 99% of the time they are thankful and get a polish anyway.
@@sneakynun yeah your right too ive thought about removing it from the packages if polishing isn’t included , rather be safe then sorry 👍🏽
@@joedouglas2736 yea do what you feel is right for your business. Stay prosperous man!
I wouldn't try it on black, but I've done it on other colors.
Excellent work 👏
Man, that coulda been easily a $250 detail especially driving out there. Hope that client tipped you somethinf
