    big fan homie. I have a serious suggestion that you should 100% do, after every detail leave a air refresher or a tag that hangs on the blinker with "top class detail" so the customer is always reminded of you. And if anyone gets in the car it may spark a discussion or something leading to more customers. This is something that you shouldn't think about and is great for business. But a big fan bro keep the work up

    Claying with any clay causes (Damage) some clear coat is quite hard and won't show much marring but that's why I won't clay the vehicle without at least a light all in one polish. Anyone who says a clay doesn't cause light scratches isn't looking hard or doesn't have the eye for it. Keep up the work, prices are pretty cheap actually, I'm in MN and I charge $220 starting for interior seat shampoo is extra pet hair also extra.

    What's the purpose of the clay and seal?

    • @STILLNIGHTPEARL
      @STILLNIGHTPEARL 2 роки тому

      On a vehicle with light contamination and very minor imperfections, light swirls, no oxidation, no marring, no water spots, no etching or scratches of any kind, it’s a cheaper option because it eliminates the polishing stage which drastically increases the price. A clay and seal gives you smooth and shiny paint, but without the cost of a wash, clay, polish, seal. On a vehicle with minor to no imperfections, it’s worth it.

      It’s actually not confusing he has a few packages with a starting price but it may differ from customer to customer depending on package, location, how neglected the car is , last minute cst add on , car/suv/truck?

    Clay bar is an abrasive a very fine one but yes even light clay is abrasive and can cause micro scratches. I dropped a clay bar entirely and will only offer it if polishing is included. I offer a package for chemical decontamination to help with sealants bonding.

      I thought the same but I’ve done cars and it just depends if the paint is hard or soft , some paints take it like a champ other don’t just my two cents

      @@joedouglas2736 100% agreed. but even hard paint that has been out in the sun can have that same effect. It all comes down to use your best judgement. I just don’t do it and would rather educate and 99% of the time they are thankful and get a polish anyway.
