    I should have waited till the end to comment, sorry for all the comments 🤣 some more tips when claying, just use the soap from your bucket. I usually either just squeeze my wash pad over the panel and clay with the soap or use a clay mitt in the bucket. As I'm washing with a wash mitt in one hand I have a clay mitt in the other hand following right up behind. I usually use Koch Chemie GSF soap as it's super lubricated. Save money on clay lube. Also, I used to live wet coat but then found Koch Chemie Protector wax. I think 5 liters is like $68 but it's dillutable. I usually dilluted it down to 20:1 and use it the same way as wet coat. Or you can use it as a spray wax the same way, or when I'm polishing, I spray it on top of the polish to wipe it off. Bang ...Tips and tricks to keep the good vibes going!!!

      Yes I do the soapy water, the clay mitt style sometimes too! So many ways to get the job done the right way and get great results! Koch Chemie is dope!

    Enjoyed your workflow, I learned when you are adding a topper at the end, and rinsing with gun, aim your gun up starting at the bottom and working your way up, for a better spread of the topper. This includes rims also. Speaking of toppers, you have compared Gyeon Wet Coat vs Technicians Choice TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray? Stay Kooool in the Fl sun & humidity 🙂

    Hey Chris. Great video as always!! For decon try turtle wax iron wheel decon. You can use it on paint wheels glass ect. It has a slightly better smell. Almost like they tried to hide it in lemon. Lol. Give it a shot!

    • @cleancarchris
      @cleancarchris  10 місяців тому +1

      Hey just remember that clay is an abrasive so it can mar the paint if it’s not lubricated well..if the paint is marred you’d probably have to polish to remove..just lubricate well, use caution and you’ll be ok! Thanks for watching and commenting!

    For the IK pump foamer it's called a Schrader valve. You drill a hole in the container and make it fit tightly. Kind of like a valve stem on a tire. Miranda detailing has a video/tutorial on how to do it

    Is the 2 bucket really needed? Most buckets comes with the dirt trapper at the bottom at least the chemical guys bucket that I have does

    • @cleancarchris
      @cleancarchris  27 днів тому +1

      @@CarolCityCane305 So much debate about this topic..all I’d say is, as long as your wash mitt/pad etc is kept as clean as possible through out the contact wash process that’s all that matters..2 bucket method is one way to do this..

    Hey Chris after that sealer is sprayed, can I also follow up with a drying aid as a towel dry? Without messing up the sealer? Wasn’t sure if the chemicals could mesh/go well with each other? lol 🙏🏼

    • @cleancarchris
      @cleancarchris  4 місяці тому

      Hey after just applying a sealant I usually don’t use a drying aid bc the paint is pretty slick and hydrophobic so I go ahead and dry. I’ll proceed with using a drying aid the following visit.
