Fun fact: During The Stolen Earth (S4 E12), the Dalek didn’t actually shoot the Doctor directly. The script actually stated that the extermination beam skimmed the Doctor by a few inches, hence why he was able to regenerate, because usually a Dalek extermination beam can kill a Timelord. This is why they haven’t yet shot the Doctor head on, because as we know, the Daleks think hatred is beautiful.
Tbh it really pisses me off when people say "iT sLoW jUsT rUn AwAy" like some are slow but they are still arguably one of the deadliest things in the universe

Gotta say, as much as I hate Chibnall's writing, the way he made that Dalek annihilate the army convoy was pretty badass. It gives the Daleks some much needed love, after Moffat turned them into jokes that ask for "mercy". Just a shame he couldn't keep it up in the other dalek episodes.
Problem is if the bbc has to use them maybe they should have their own series, the overuse of the daleks in doctor who has caused diluted writing so much so that the daleks are pretty much a joke 9/10 Occasionally they'll have a truly menacing scene but you just know they'll be back, there's only been one dalek scrypt writer that shines in the way he wrote them and that's David whittaker

Since the BBC couldn't be bothered to name the episodes, I tracked them all down: • "Resolution" (New Year's Day special, 2019) • "Dalek" (series 1, 2005) • "The Magician’s Apprentice" (series 9, 2015) • "Asylum of the Daleks" (series 7, 2012) I really just wanted to know what episode the first one was from as I love the redesigned Dalek and the cinematrography is great. Turns out it was the Chibnall era. Shame that those stunning visuals were wasted on such a terrible era of the show.
Also the difference between whatever the first part was from and Eccleston era is so stark. To me Doctor Who has always been improved by the cheese and the humanity. That gritty realism stuff really isn't what the show *should* be like. I've liked the characters, just not that approach.

The best one has to be from resolution Chris chibnall did make the Daleks scary again and I’m happy it will carry over in the RTD2 era hopefully for more big earth invasion stories I can see it happen 🤞
One think I don’t like in that episode is the bridge scene when the doctor says “ I can’t let them know I’m here” *proceeds to land right infront of the daleks* The rest of the episode is alright though :)

The CGI at 0:13 Is terrible... I never watched Jodie's "Series" because well she's NOT The Doctor... and clicked on this video because I saw the word Dalek... Emm what the hell happened to my beloved show? I knew it was bad but is it really this bad? Like with Series 1 that moment where The Doctor and Dalek talk that has so much depth and meaning it's so beautiful.
