@violetasmith5696 There is no such thing as a "biker gang". There are, however, motorcycle clubs. I doubt you have any experience with an MC outside of watching Sons of Anarchy...
@@randysmidt2702yep most bikers of this day and age are which is why between that and a few other words you know that this is a story for one thing I have never met a vet from that period my dad's. Too by the way who would use the term squad to describe the group of men he was with in battle that and certain other terms that are used are more what you would find in a Hollywood or television movie rather than what is actually used in real life... But hey it's a nice story and you can even visualize Chuck Norris playing the old man... And yeah there's a little sarcasm in that last sentence.😊
I don't think any idiot of a biker would even when I say idiot of a biker because I've known I've never known a biker that was that much of an idiot like the one in the story who goes you're very short life the dude is ancient guys... He's had a longer life than any of them.

My father worked in El Monte California and everyday he’d go down to the local bar to have a bowl of soup or chili. This bar was one of the Hells Angels frequented. They never bothered him and welcomed him into the bar. It was always hello Don, they always treated him with respect!
If a person doesn't stand up to help out our American Vet when in need. They need to leave America. I've got no use or respect for American Vet haters.

When I was a kid my uncles would tell me stories of their experiences in the Korean conflict and my neighbor saw 3 tours in Vietnam. When I graduated from high school I joined the Air Force, saw no combat and got out but I can say without hesiation that the bonds I made (from basic training and tech school to discharge) are still some of the strongest bonds and friendships I have even 50+ years later.
Listening and watching this story, brings back so many memories of my father, who is exactly like Frank he never stopped giving to everyone and anyone he ever met. He was someone who did not demand respect, but commanded respect. He gave two our armed forces he gave to his family. He gave to his community and his state and his country, it’s a little scary nowadays watching some of these kind of values fade away. But they’re only faded and things that are faded can be brightened again. With stories like these, we can reach people who need to understand exactly what Frank wanted them to understand, and that wasrespect, honor, service and camaraderie. I love you dad and I miss you so much.
I’m a 79 year old Marine Corps GySgt Drill Instructor with 3 tours in Vietnam 🇻🇳 and a retired Detective Police Captain. Still to this day don’t test me. But no bikers would ever do this. I have been around Hell’s Angels in San Diego for years. Love ❤️ Them.
Thank you so much for this story of men who Stood strong and true! Caring for each other no matter what the cost! This is such an example of how we as Christians need to be, and how we, as Americans should honor this nation, and each other with the love of God in each of us !😊
There's four generations of military in my family. My father was in the Coast Guard,my grandfather was boxing champ for the Navy. Kid Williams,my great grandfather was in the army in Ireland. My nephew is in the Air Force. I tried to join but they (army)laughed at me saying my heart wouldn't make it through basic training. I grew up in boot camp,I would have made it. But I tried. I have no kids to join. Thank you to all that have served their country, countries. Then and now. Bless all those who serve. We Americans appreciate you all.
Through the years i have witnessed veterans being together as they shared their military experiences which were often exaggerated. They all had been through traumatic experiences. Some had Purple hearts. They had scars on their bodies and souls. I enjoyed this story and it brought tears for all the young men of WWII Korea Vietnam of those that didn't make it home. God bless these men and women. Time to claim our soldiers buried in Normandy and bring them home. This story is obviously a story but it honors the valor of all those these fictitious characters represent whose valor is fading away. Reminds me of men in my family or soldiers of either sex that we owe so much.
Absolutely moved by Frank's spirit! This video beautifully captures the essence of heroism, not just in battle but in everyday life. Loved how his old comrades came through for him. What a legend

@Where-is-Jessica-Hyde A generalization. When you used words such as "always" or "never" you are creating an absolute. And absolutes are almost never true. I'm a woman veteran who was harassed in San Antonio by bikers WHILE IN UNIFORM. So they might respect male vets, they certainly did not respect me as an active duty member of the Air Force!
That is one great story. Thanks to all who put it together yto give to anybody listening. It was an eye opener for those of us who may not have had nearly any of the experiences spoken of. At 70, I can hear it like any 30 or 30 year old. Speaking of a loyalty most have never experienced. With the drama and threat lingering from a certain kind of understanding as if it was our story also. Thanks for a moving narration , a touch of pride that most have o no y heard about. God bless You All.
Who writes this bullshit? Ive known bikers 1%s and otherwise and we all know that theres an asshole in every crowd but I've never known bikers to stand for disrespecting the elderly or vets. In fact many clubs came to be because they ARE vets.
This was one of the most incredible stories I've ever heard. We must always show respect and love to others, soldiers and not just battle harden, soldiers, but to our fellow man, as God has commanded.😊
Never forget that freedom is not given but earned by each of us. We must forsake all others who may stand against us to maintain the freedom of God and country and never back down to their destructive demands.
I used to know a man who landed at Inchon. It sounds about right. When he came home he spent five decades teaching athletics' at a small town high school. Everyone loved him as do I.

At first, he said his grandson Tommy worked at the VA. He followed in his footsteps and served two tours of duty in Afghanistan, but at the end it said Tommy, although he never was in the military such bullshit you would think if they were gonna write a story they wouldn’t remember what the fuck they wrote.
Ditto, this is a bullshit story if I ever heard one. Back in the day I know of a Regiment and a local biker club that would get together occasionally for a friendly rumble to keep sharp😊 nobody on either side was ever seriously hurt. Nowadays some members of both groups ride together as brothers drink in the same bar reminiscing about the old days.

My Biker Buddy Veteran passed away a couple of years ago, just yesterday I was talking to him as I drove down the same roads we once rode on the Bike together, Never Forget they will always be remembered as the flag waves with their last breathes. I miss Him our conversations and the Harley Ride. Veterans and Harley riders speak the words they need to, sometimes less is more :) as Actions speak louder!
Define "real biker", will you? I've had run-ins with bikers that were definitely NOT respectful, unless you count threats of gang rapes respectful. You are generalizing, my friend, which is false as much as it is true.
@@MSjackiesaunders NO I'm not. You, my friend are lumping all bikes into one big pile. Sounds like the bums you got to play with were jerks and asholes that just happened to ride bikes. Could be classified as outlaw bikers. There are people like that everywhere , weather riding bikes or not. For the most part, people who ride are respectful and law-abiding people. You just got lucky? 🇺🇸😎

What a powerful story that EVERY young person should hear!
Well done - at 94 my dad passed - his stories of surviving WWII and the men he was serving with after landing at Normandy were truly remarkable. After the death of their leader in the field dad vowed to the rest - listen to me and we'll all get out of this alive. And they all did. Their bond lasted all of their lives.
Robert, (if I may call you by your first name ?) I salute your Dad and may he rest in peace-he and his 'mates' made the world as free as it is now. They were the heroes; WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanstan and Falklands. Enough said for now.
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU and ALL OUR BROTHERS

Bikers wouldn't do that. Especially to a veteran
Exactly, being both a veteran and a biker, I have NEVER seen anything like this.
I have seen bikers do this and they are evil people
I am a veteran. And was harrassed and beat up. By the Chicago outlaws. The real story is that biker groups were stated by WW2 veterans. These were young, stupid Felon Chicago outlaws in 2008. So I have to disagree with you Sire.
@@EvetteLewis05 I am very sorry for your experience Sir. I know biker groups were started by Veterans, not fitting in. No treatment for PTSD or probably didn’t know about it. I was at Great Lakes a year and change. I must say , Chicago, is a different kind of place. One wrong turn, wrong place, wrong time, dead. I was really happy getting out of there. There are bad ones in every group. Sad. Here, in the city of LIZZY Borden, it isn’t like that at all. But when there is alcohol around? Anything could happen I guess.
We should always show honor & respect to our veterans. They have paid a LOT for our rights. Thank you ALL🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Listening and watching this story, brings back so many memories of my father, who is exactly like Frank he never stopped giving to everyone and anyone he ever met.
