I'm a 78 year old veteran and have worked with many different colors of people. I do not see the difference between any of them. God bless all of our veterans.
Thank you for sharing this powerful story about standing against injustice and the strength of community. It’s inspiring to see how solidarity can bring about change.
How do you think solidarity truly makes a difference in fighting injustice? Do you believe that communities coming together can create lasting change, or are there limits to what they can achieve? I’d love to hear your perspective!
Kevin, this is so true. I am a veteran, and the grandchild of a WWII Navy veteran, daughter of a Air Force veteran, the wife of an Army veteran, mother of a veteran, and currently a grandmother of a Army veteran. Racism was never acted upon or discussed in my family. I grew up in the North, but had gamily in the South. After living MANY years of living on military installations here in the U.S. and abroad, I learned quickly that the MOST important people to me were the people in my home, and the people on these bases regardless of where they came from, or who they voted for, or the color of their skin, but the content of their character. We were all there for one main reason, to protect the country and terrirories we call home and inspire others countries to adopt this crazy IDEA of FREEDOM. We HAD to put away all prejudices if we wanted to keep that dream of "freedom" that so many others take for granted. Keeping America Free! Crazy as it may be, I'm willing to die for those crazy KKK, BLACK SUPREMISTS, IMMIGRANTS. Not just from COUNTRIES SOUTH of our borders, but from ANYWHERE around the world, for their right to live and be free. Because all we have are each other and our dreams for ourselves and our family, to be called American. 🇺🇸 Our red is blood, our white is purity and our blue is unity. Provided by those who gave and still give SOME, and those who gave and will still give THEIR ALL. @KevinHarvey-qw5mj

I was on my to Boise Idaho along with my two sons and wife we stoped at a small diner I won’t me the state or city as we walked in we got the most ugly stares and silence dome people actually got up and left the owner saw what was happening immediately walked over sat us down and gave us the most awesome welcome as my sons were 3 & 6 years old she asked them if they liked blueberry pancakes and went in and cook them herself we were treated like royalty she wouldn’t let me pay but left her a big tip left a big impression about people I’m 83 years old remember as it was yesterday
@R.boomhower I'm using our Ancestral Surname (Baumhauer) for part of my email address. Have you looked into any genealogy? I've traced back to 1470 A.D. so far.
This story deeply resonates with the painful reality that many have faced and continue to face in our world. It is a poignant reminder of the contradictions that often exist between the ideals we are told to believe in and the harsh truths of discrimination that persist. The moment when your son questioned why he fought for a country that could not ensure his safety at home is heart-wrenching and highlights the deep-rooted issues of racism that continue to plague us. It’s a sobering thought that, even after decades, the progress we’ve made feels insufficient. Yet, despite the heartache and loss, your enduring hope at 83 is both inspiring and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Your story serves as a powerful call for all of us to keep fighting for a world where such injustices no longer exist. Thank you for sharing such a personal and emotional memory-it reminds us how far we still have to go.
racism will always remain. Read about Esau and Jacob in Gen 25 and you will see why it will remain. 2 brothers but only 1 given the Promises to rule the earth. Of course Jacob the baby was given the promises and he is the one who is hated, murdered and oppressed. This is coming to an end very soon. Jacob will rule over Esau
You made me cry, as this story did too. My stepfather whom I love, is a retired veteran. Back in the early 60's while traveling through the south with other recruits on a military bus, they stopped at a diner. He was told to leave because they did not serve his kind. Now I have to tell you my dad did not understand. You see he was born in Puerto Rico, so this was his first encounter with racism. His buddies explained and walked out with him. They did not stop yo eat until they reached their destination. As long as we do not stay silent, we send a message, like those soldiers did loud and clear.
I really appreciate these stories! It's refreshing when someone confronts racism and bigotry for what it is. I'm from Salem, Oregon and fortunately, I have not experienced discrimination since childhood. I grew up in an affluent community and was the only person in my class who was of African American descent. I was picked on constantly because of the way my hair looked and it took me years to let go of the hurt this caused. Fortunately, we came to a new community and I have many friends who don't care about petty things, and who love me for who I am. Thank you for your channel!
as a Navy veteran, it does not matter what race, nationality, creed you are, i took an oath of defending this country and her people of people wanting to hurt us, both foreign and domestic, i see other veterans, no matter what conflict or war they served in, i will always thank them, i will always thank the bikers as well, as most are veterans of different eras, but for also the good that they do to help others, protecting men, women, kids from whatever comes to harm them.
I'm 72 years old, white, and my husband was black , may he rest in peace. My children look more black ,WE would go out for dinner. They would service me, but not my children . That was 47 years ago.. Now, 2024, things are changing. I love ❤️ this video. Love from Canada 🇨🇦 All my grandchildren are grown up, and people think I'm kidnapping my grandchildren . "GOD SEES NO COLOUR. AMEN ✨️ ❤️ 🙏
I am 77 (Italian and 1st generation American) with a beautiful mixed race daughter and adult grandchildren. I don't take prejudice lightly for anyone. We may be heading to Canada depending on the upcoming election results. By the way, most of our families were immigrants.
I'm from UK what a great story So Glad Joe got his Breakfast in America !!! And Sarah was happy to be back !!! I think it's always Biker gangs have such bad a rep but in all honesty really genuine Motorcycle Riders on the Storm. This story really touched my Heart XXX Love to Joe x
I agree with what you say about motorcyclists. They are more American than many of the people who hold office in the USA. They step forward far more often than some people know !!
Thank you so much Joe for your service. I thought for sure that prejudice was out the door and it is a shame. A man can own a store like this and be so disrespectful for the vets that save this world. And I thank you Mike for understand what Joe went through and the vet set you have with you. God bless you all and thank you so much. I am about myself. Never went to war but I was honored to serve our country and God bless you all. Thank you
Hello. I just found this channel today! Its some interersting stories! Thank God for people who have the strength and courage to fight for justcice like those BIKERS!
My family stands with all our vetrans, no one would dare to offend a vetran in any way in front of us, we are free because of them. ,as i tell the ignorant, if not for them , we would be speaking. German and japeness. ,so be thankfull to all our vetrans God bless them all.❤❤❤❤❤❤
It makes me sick (as a 72 year old white woman) to see anyone treated like that. I was raised to respect your elders no matter what color there skin was. My son married a black woman. God did not intend for his children to act like naughty kids. God does not like ugly. People need to think what it would be like if they were in their shoes. God have mercy on their souls! God bless
Heard a saying that I feel especially fits and I quote “I might look ugly but I can go to the gym, get plastic surgery and all that to make myself beautiful but you have an ugly personality and there’s no fixing that” (I probably botched it but that’s the closest to it I can remember)
I’m listening from Auburn, Pennsylvania. This story is a reminder of how far, we as a nation, still have a long way to go…and wondering if it will be during my lifetime or even my great-grandchildren’s lifetime. When will we, as a people, be able to truly say, in the words of Dr Martin Luther King: “Free At last, Free at last, thank God Almighty, I’m free at last.”
Listening, from Youngstown, Ohio where a selfishness has become a thing I despise & will never be a part of, because it's becoming alright to treat people mean.😢😢😢😢

I grew up in South Carolina and to racism there. Were times when we would go over to another town? But the clue clock claims would stop my parents and we could not go. We had to turn around and go back home. I understand racism fully. I live through it. I wrote the school bus through it and I think this is a wonderful. Wonderful story for people to listen to I haven't found out who's writing these stories. But keep doing it because I do watch them. God bless everyone. Kids only learned racism when racism is taught to them. I hope we can live in a world where everyone is one accord

This story brought back memories of a call from my 18 year old son from his base at Warner Robins Air Force base in Georgia. He and some of his fellow recruits had leave and wanted to go into town. The KKK was stationed outside the base and the Base Commander told them that he could not guarantee their safety if they tried to leave. Im a 57 yr old vet and the way people behave today towards us in civilian clothes and the behavior and mannerisms are at a point of disbelief ! This is sad but also heart warming at the same time. How can some people say you're good enough to die for freedom but not good enough to acknowledge as a equal because of skin color. It's heart breaking that this still goes on to this day. At the same time it's wonderful to see people band together to change thing's
Shalom people white are evil vul with hate jealousy, because The Almighty Most High Yah bless you with with wisdom and beauty, that they can't have, Yahusha Ha Mashyach are Brown to an they know that.... Burning help are waiting for them. Much love appreciated and respect.
Watching from San Antonio, Texas. I don't believe in racism. What that owner did was totally disgusting an just not right especially when your taking care of customers.😢
I am a Viet Nam vet and we came home to a lot of closed minded young people protesting us. We were all different types of Color but we fought together and many of us died together. We had no time to worry about the color of a man's skin.
I'm a 78 year old veteran and have worked with many different colors of people. I do not see the difference between any of them. God bless all of our veterans.
I enjoyed that story very much. It was very heartwarming. Thank you.
