Man I hate to do this being a Redodo fan, but I just bought the low temp ones. In fact they're still in the box.. and today Off Grid Basement channel did a review on it, and it failed to "Not" charge below freezing.🤷♂ He went several seconds, it wouldn't stop. so he pulled it.
And FTR, he doesn't use cold spray, or dry ice etc. to fake it, he literally freezes them just like what would happen to us.
If you're a Will Prowse kinda guy maybe u can reprogram the BMS like he does, but just beware. If u are so inclined to do that sort of thing, these are great deals $$ wise.

My buddy has the original called the Zooms? He was so impressed he purchased a second for his family’s RV. I have a Chins in my RV but wouldn’t hesitate to buy a RedOdo in a minute. Im truly off grid along with a few neighbors. One in particular has not updated from lead acid. Im going to show him this video. He is 81 and just don’t get it quite yet.

Thanks for the vids and all your hard work. How are you getting your batteries?? Redodo told me no, they are unable to ship to AK, and HI due to logistics. I didn’t mention specific channel, but I did mention a UA-camr in HI is getting them somehow. Cheers!

The minis are tempting for me. I have a small solar array and its easier to charge smaller batteries than trying to charge a 300 ah battery. I can also configure 12, 24, 36 or 48 volt system w/e my needs are and i can also pull the system apart and charge each batter separate for quicker charge time.
Charging time equates to using time so that is no advantage whatsoever.
@@aday1637 moving around a 300ah battery is another reason i didnt mention.
Aloha. Once a long time resident of Hawaii now in the Philippines and have had several solar setups over the years. Here brown outs are a regular occurrence which doesn't work with my main grid tie system. So I have a couple of smaller systems for the freezer and to keep my internet going. I have noticed how you praise Redodo and Victron products but they are not available here. Tried to get to the Redodo site and unable to link today. Wanted to inquire about a distributor here. Love your channel and appreciate you sharing your continuing saga.

Can anyone tell me if STORING LiFe O4 in freezing temperatures will harm them?
I am aware of not CHARGING below 32 degrees.
you can store and discharge below freezing without damage. just warm them up before charging.
on my power queen battery is charge is 32f to 113f and discharge is -4f to 140f and storage is 14f to 113f most LiFePo4 is is that range . out side of temp range can damage them

They have their 100 AH batteries on Amazon now for $249. I paid $299 for mine. It's a great price but makes me wonder if they are slipping B cells in those? I see that they are now offering 2000W PSW inverters too for $159 ! If course my $300 2000W Kreiger decided to crap out on me 2 days ago, and I have NEVER even used the thing. It is purely on standby and I only turn it on 2 times a week to charge power tool and some 18650 batteries smh. Redodo's sale and prices are a gut punch to me. Hope whoever needs a battery or inverter takes advantage of the low prices.
