I like this kind of video explaining a specific notes and listing your favorite fragrance that had them, it educate me on how much that notes is used on the perfume, since the majority and myself still inexperience to those ingredient and we can pinpoint on what exactly we were smelling a little bit more even though our brain plays a big role to that allignment 😅, because again we never smelled the real thing and doesn't have a lot of fragrance that share those notes

I think its probably a strange mixture of the "apple" note & the herbal rosemary mixing with all the crazy base notes like Cypriol 🤷♂️ But honestly I dont know what it is since there is no Citrus listed in promise 😊

That Antaeus with silver spryer is the first reformulation which is reformulated again in 2015 and with a black spryer up until now. I have the 2019 bottle and I like. Did you have the chance to compare the recent with the one you own? Some says castoreum is minimal nowadays. True?
I think thats true but I only smelled the newest version in passing at a dept store... i have an original 80s bottle but I keep it under armed guard 🪖 😂😂😂
That Imperial del oro is a great score and I've been searching for it myself but it's impossible to find in the UK... speaking of rare frags hunting I've also been on the look out for Russian oud and I've finally found one, but the seller wants £600! which is probably more than double it originally sold for and I hate giving to the sharks, but it's so rare and it's at the top of my wish list.... I'm torn with this one, especially as I've never sniffed it but 100% I'll love it from the reviews it's had.

Yes I think there can be a soapy element to it... its the leathery animalic aspects I most love... if you like soapy castoreum you have to smell Jil Sander Man Pure from 81' 🦫
He explained it to me one day... something about the 2nd round of distillation of the oud when they did the exact same proces as round 1 smelled totally different . So the frag couldnt be recreated
Hey there. Your content is honestly really very good. I enjoy it. Unfortunately your videos are just way too long. I honestly skipped them when I see. They are close to an hour or more. I would recommend cutting them in half or less, and breaking it up if possible. Just some thoughts keep up the good stuff.

There is no myrrh in Antaeus.
It got confused in the notes breakdown of almost every site with MYRTLE.
Even Chanel list myrtle on the old adds

Russian Adam went further and used beaver tail in his Cuir de Russie, it is a stronger and animalistic note than castoreum in my opinion
