Don't forget that Cockatiel is just Powder & Dust from Sven AND Yana (Tommelise). I remember her mentioning that she barely made the Art and Olfaction ceremony to accept the award with Sven for that fragrance. 😄 Unfortunately I don't really get any booze from it. Very pillowy mimosa with some chocolate in the base. Totally forgot that Royal Mayfair had a booze note. Great to see Overture making the top! 🥃
Now I wanna decant some whiskey and rum and Russian Adam spray away so I smell like a vagrant vagabon all day. Great video as always mate. I do enjoy a good booze note but often time, especially in modern frags they are too sweet for me.
Random idea fir a video.. well weird idea because normally you want to obviously talk about fragrances you have smelled. But since you love vintage ( as do I) I’d love to see a video on vintage fragrances you heard about but have never smelled but are on your list or ones that you want but can’t find… weird gems like the hard too find Halston 101 or original 1972 Drakkar and stuff like that. Then again maybe I’m the only one that would enjoy a video like that. Keep up the great work, Rams!
I just got a vintage bottle of Yohji Homme (Jean Patou on the bottom) after seeing this video - the drydown shares some similarities with Gucci Envy for Men, although the opening's quite a bit different. Neat bottle, too!
Amazing perfume indeed... shout to Justin "Roger Graves" for his generosity in sending that bottle , the Avon Samples & Adidas from the mid 80s my way 🤌🤌🤌
Follja from ghost Nose Perfumes one of the best rum fragrance for me, ( Oud, Rum, patchouli, ambergris) think of FM Monsieur, Idole lubin , Psychedelique.. If you gonna try it just look for the older bottle which came with silver cap and white sticker label on the side of the bottle because the brand changed the bottles and the name they just called it G-Nose
@@RamseytheRam Dont know if the Iris video was 1/30 or 1/31 but that view etc is good, and not what I was referring to. Maybe for the livestreams you are having a different setup. Of course the content is what is most important, and that is always good, regardless of the camera setup.

I'm definitely a fan of boozy scents - if I pick up anything boozy in a fragrance, it's practically always a plus. My best purchase of 2022 was undoubtedly Boss Number One (finally, after 5 years in the fragrance game) and once my brain made the connection after about 4 to 5 wearings, it was like a eureka moment! I get this amazingly delicious honey lager accord from Boss Number One and if I had to come up with a top 10 list right now, it would probably sit somewhere in the top 5.
SOTD: the last remnants of my Amouage Sunshine Man sample. It’s a lovely thing to smell but for me I don’t like smelling like it, if that makes sense. Overture Man took some time for me. I wasn’t a fan of that tart grapefruit top. But once I wore it in the cold of winter that’s when it came together for me. It shines in the cold. Absolutely beautiful, that cognac note is lovely, and it’s on my shortlist for next purchases if I can find it for a more reasonable price than Amouage is asking. It’s not one I normally see discounted much, like Myths or Figment which can often be had for near 100 bucks a bottle.
Yeah I know what you mean... plus I dont trust the "new" Amouage with the name on the front of the bottles ... so finding an older bottle is imperative 🤌🤌🤌
