    Awesome work! Ive knapped alot of stone but my favorite will always be a good piece of buffalo river chert.A five gallon bucket of it started me on my flintknapping journey 15+ years ago and I always come back to it

    Can you make it look any easier? Nice skills.

    It is heat treated but not soft. With good edge prep and bopper you don't need to hit it really hard...

    Man you make that look entirely too easy.I've never tried a monster bopper like that. I need to .Thank you for an excellent vid. I'm going to send you one of mine on artifact knapping tools I've found. I have found some surprising stuff.

    Can't watch it seeing how lightheartedly he treats those beautiful and perfectly usable "waste" flakes of stone by dropping them on the ground and shattering to pieces... Sorry for the comment but I have no slightest chance to find any of such great quality material here where I live. Yeah, I'm bloody jelly. TC

      How do you make tools for Flint knapping

  • @txrelichunter
    @txrelichunter 15 років тому

    Is that stuff real soft? It looked like you were hitting it pretty lightly yet the flakes came off nice and easy..
