You want new scooter models for free, maybe for a limited time, to test it and show us.
Because you cannot buy everything. I respect this too.
I´m an e-scooter beginner, and fighting also with our local = german laws and restrictions.
While you see (in videos) in the USA: No problems, much more allowed.
Finally showing the first scenes of your mono-wheel driving. This interests me too.
How to ride, how to stop, etc.
Meanwhile: Not allowed in germany in public.
More crazy: In germany no turn lights allowed, on e-scooters.
All blinking and flashing lights - you get fined with 2o pounds and more.
But I want to fight to legalize turn lights.
Most crazy: No helmet needed. It´s legal, to ride without a helmet.
That´s too dangerous. A helmet saved my life, at 13 mph. felt down, and my head crashed on the road, WITH a simple helmet. After this accident I bought a full face helmet, (for motorcycles).
Better protection and more comfort at bad weather.
In germany: Legal, starting at Age 14.
Without any experiences driving motor power vehicles.

AHH thanks for taking the time to come moment like that 🙏 yeah it's super interesting the different laws in so many countries. Here in UK It's always been illegal to 'enjoy yourself'. If the government can't tax it then we not allowed to do it. Everytime they trial e scooters in cities there is always another reason to ban them 🙄 ...no way they will be legal until they find a way to squeeze as much money as possible from drivers...scooter tax, road tax, fun tax, insurance, special license...everything. because apparently we all babies that can't be trusted without paying lots of money upfront..... yeah don't get me started! 😆. Here now you get stopped working n am e Scooter it's a £300 fine with point added to your driving license if you have one. Thankfully I live in the middle of nowhere with very little or no police presence at all so I'm lucky I can ride. 👍❤️
@@SlammDunkProductions Thank you for your big answer. So it´s more difficult, as in germany. Because you have a gouverment, who says "No" to all.
But otherwise any crazy self build vehicle who is ok by the MOT - is allowed, and get all, to drive in public legally in GB.
On cars, motorcycles etc. we have: anual vehicle tax, petrol tax, insurance tax, VAT on all, VAT on petrol tax too.
Yes, we must pay a tax for a paying tax.
The gouverment say, it´s needed for all the roads.
But when the the fast four lane road (Autobahn) in our district needed repair, the gouverment said: We have no money for this.
They paid, with money, that they not have.
They gave the future maut money paying from the trucks, for the next 30 years, on this roads.
So our gouverments gets a lot of taxes, but say, they have no money, and cannot pay. - In GB, too ?

limited to 13 mph max. speed.
limited to 350 or 500 watts engine.
minimum two independent brakes.
front and back light, reflectors on both sides. a bicycle bell needed, the min. and max. height of the handle-bars.
extra protection for the accus.
no break lights, no turn lights, no any flashing lights, no horn = all forbidden.
all testet, proofen and allowed in a vehicle licence for this model by the german DOT of our gouverment.
You need an insurance for the e-scooter, with a sticker on the back. So the police can see it.
Every year, starting march, you need a new sticker with another color. For a new insurance paid. About 15 - 30 pounds/year.
But no helmet needed = not safe.
So Everyone can rent an e-scooter with a smartphone only. Present your ID-Card in the camera, that you are age 14 and older.
I needed to buy a second e-scooter, for getting the german vehicle licence only.
The first one fullfill all, but you cannot get a vehicle licence for this.
But I add turn lights on. This safety, I want it. No matter, if its allowed or stupid not.
Because our gouverment says the e-scooter are motor driven vehicles, so they need an insurance.
Ok, so I say all motor driven vehicles are allowed or perhaps needed, for having turn lights.

They WILL become legal here i am sure of it and we will have the exact same rules as you guys 99% anyway. The problem is all the idiots that spoil it for others...people getting wasted/drunk and riding on main roads with no saftey gear. makes me mad lol.

USA: Do what you want. It´s all your risk.
And if its fail = your problem.
GB can make his own rules.
Even because it is NOT in the EU.
Expect to become surprised.
Everyone can use anything wrong.
You cannot make all super safe.
I think, in GB it needs extra long time,
since the conservative gouverments
allow it.
I remember, how many decades of years it needs, since private radio stations becomes legal in GB.
In the 60´s: USA: Over 500 private radio stations - In GB: zero.

Hi mate,
Wonder if you could give me a bit of advice as your the only one I know that answers peoples questions.
My girlfriend owns a wide wheel scooter. It’s quite unbelievable that me and my son can go on it and it goes along quite well.
Obviously with my weight and my sons weight on it at the same time the plastic deck makes a bit of a creaking noise. I am looking at buying another scooter so will can all go out together.
The thing is because me and my son will be on the new one I buy and obviously going to want to keep up with my girlfriend with speed.
Have you got any suggestions obviously going to buy it pre owned. Also want it pretty fast so when I am on it on my own can have a bit of fun.

Hmm that's a tricky one because I haven't tried a huge amount of scooters, only a few. However one that stands out to me is the 'Kuickwheel SC-1 pro' just Google it. It's built like a tank mate and the deck could carry a whole family it's built that strong. I've been using it as my personal scooter for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. It has dual 500w motors so it's pretty fast and gets up hills easy. If you find the website for kuickwheel they usually have some good offers and I think there are also new models available that might interest you. They originally were £1,500 but now can buy for less than half that price 👍 not sure if it's what your looking for but if you want power and build quality for least amount of money Its my best suggestion so far. AHH ok...because of what I normally review I thought we were talking 'budget' here 😆 you know I'm only about to review my first high end scooter...the Varla Eagle one. I'm expecting it in then next week or 2 and I'm expecting it to blow me away as it's will be dual 1000w which is way above anything I've tried so far. Cheers mate sorry I can't be more useful ✌️

I noticed when i first thought about doing the video a couple months back, On the website it says 'Next batch delivered september 2021' by the time i was finishing the video i noticed it now says new orders will be delivered next year. So i pressumed they were selling plenty of them but if what you say is true then maybe they are just stalling hmm. like i say im gonna go look into it. cheers for the heads up.

I think escooters are heading to a direction where only “rich” people can afford them. I mean £1000+ is just not for an average person. I love my Xiaomi pro 2 ,what was £469 brand new. That is a price of a bicycle and honestly thats what they worth. £1000+ i would rather buy a good motorbike.
Yeah i agree. I would normally say 1000 is my absolute limit for an e scooter, but thats if i was planning on using it everyday including commuting. It would take me a few months to save that. Just like the Kingsong Uniwheel. 2k that was, but that was a struggle to save for. It the most expensive thing ive ever bought. The car i drive was out an auction house and only cost me $580! (2008 Ford Focus) lol. People love to come on here and comment something like "Your Xiaomi is trash compared to the Dualtron X2" then i go google "Dualtron x2" and be like "Oh get outta here....5 friggin grand!....for an E-scooter!" like you say can buy decent car/bike for that price.
