Okay any suggestions on wide vs medium sole? Like how much room should there be to know the foot is fitting properly? How much different is there before the medium and the wide?
I’m normally a classic Z kind of girl, but I just decorous get crazy and get the toe loop sandals. And for the life of me I couldn’t get the fit right until I saw this video. Very helpful.
Chacos are measured based on heel to ball length, so the best way to tell is getting measured with a Brannock device at any shoe store. The conventional advice is to go down a half-size.
Yes, the toe loop adds security. But it can tighten really bad on certain foot types. If you google 'chaco toe loop vs no toe loop' you'll find more info.
@@saraporter7444 Thank you for the reply. I did become aware of the toe loop tightening complaint. It sounds like a situation that is very subject to one's foot type.
@@jacktoy3032 It's more common for the toe loop to tighten on a new pair of sandals. The straps eventually tend to stay in place better over time. The toe loop is really good if you hike on uneven terrain a lot. I like the toe loop as it gives a bit more security, but it is definitely something that is personal preference.
I have some the toe loop won’t give. I have a normal size toe .. do I pull the loop up I tried but won’t budge. I didn’t try o n when bought them cause I have neuropathy Waited till I got home and been struggling. Both shoes like that 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

What if you have space in between your ankle and the strap? Can you adjust that? Because that’s my problem😅
