I'm not gonna lie, I don't have time to watch the whole video so I just skipped to my track because Nabbit's Secret Island jumpscare.
I'm glad you enjoyed it apart from the problems I already pointed out myself. Like you figured out, the track mostly works fine if you drift off of the jump ramp instead of tricking, I don't have any problems on 200cc anymore either but that's obviously thanks to hours of playtesting experience.
The track is nearly two years old, meaning I believe the track actually predates your lighting bake tutorials. It originally featured lighting that I mostly figured out on my own, though either way the lighting in the version you played was redone using Rodm's tutorial. He's a fellow former NSMBU modder by the way.
Seven lap tracks work by default. The only reason Lakitu signs for other lap configurations don't work is because the numbers on the signs are hard-coded, but thanks to Baby Park I didn't have to worry about that.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on my other tracks as well, though those aren't on the current wheel I believe lol.
Are you planning to update the lighting on your Koopa Troopa Beach custom track? If so, then that will be great
in retrospect, it shouldn't be surprising that a user called "the pirate" would steal assets lol
very good series, please continue. it's always nice to see modders that have a big name in the community give constructive criticism on other people's tracks like this, being informative on what to improve on and shit. like not only are you helping the maker of this track but also the people watching, even beginners, it's really cool

I plan to do a lightning overhaul since theres now a blender plugin for accurate 8 deluxe lightning, that even includes a texture swap from the roblox textures to the 8D textures since roblox ones look like blehh

Google says larch trees are actually not evergreen trees so technically I am correct in that evergreen trees do not turn that color.
(No, I had not heard of larch trees and I still stand by the color choice being ugly)
