WOW! WOW! Fantastic germination, what a success so far, the Lithops seedlings look so good! LOVED this video, so looking forward to see how fast they develop under the Mars Hydro! I hope the Lithops continue to do well for you! Great close ups! Thanks Daz, for the mention and for your support!😁😁😁🌵
Thank you so much, Claire 😊 Very happy with how these are doing so far and looking forward to seeing them develop as well. They look like they’ve grown a bit more since recording the video, especially the largest two. Thank you so much again Claire for your generosity. Have a wonderful evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜

Oh WOW what an INCREDIBLE high germination rate, and they look AMAZING and so cute and so healthy and green, and thats so kind and generous of Claire to gift you these Lithops seeds, thanks so much for sharing Daz, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Edith lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to England and Singapore for a fantastic afternoon and weekend ahead XXXX
Thank you so much, Lyn 😊 I’m still scared these seedlings are going to suddenly die on me 😂 From past experience with them Lithops don’t like me much haha. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Lyn. Have a wonderful day and upcoming weekend from Edith & myself to you and Hans. Hope this storm that’s coming won’t be too bad ❤️🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Oh wow sooo many baby lithops, they look so cute. You have many lithops now Daz. Great germination, great job. I’m excited to see them grow and show patterns. Thank you for sharing Daz and have a lovely night to you and Edith. 💚🌵
Thank you so much, Kath 😊 I’m looking forward to seeing the patterns on these too, and the two Lithops you sent me are doing well. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Kath. Have a wonderful day and upcoming weekend from Edith & myself to you and Phil 🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜

Lovely video! So nice to see your Lithops from seeds to seedlings...you had a good germination...they are little cuties! Beautiful collection of other types of seedlings! Thanks for sharing! Sylvia
Ooooh so exciting to see them grow from such minuscule seeds! They look like jellies when they’re that size. 🥰 Love them! So looking forward to seeing them develop patterns on their leaves. Thank you so much, Claire, for these cuties! ❤️🌸🌺🌼🌵💚
Thank you so much my love 🥰 Haha yeah they do look like little jellies! Looking forward to seeing how these develop as well, if the other seedlings in the tent are anything to go by then hopefully these will reach a good size in a short period of time. Enjoyed watching with you as always babe, thank you for all your love, support and encouragement ❤️🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸💚
Looks like you had great luck with germination!!! I have to say I don't have any of these because of the unusual care they have to receive. I'm not sure I could keep them in my greenhouse during winter due to cool temperature. Yours look so great , I think I'll just watch at the side line and admire from afar. Like I do Claire's . hahaha !! Thanks for sharing!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks, to the U.K. & Singapore, have a great day!!! Peace ,Love Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌺🌴🌻🌲🌹🌳🌷🌿🌸🍀💐😀👍
Thank you so much, Clyde 😊 Lithops actually prefer the cooler temperatures, I’m pretty sure they’re considered winter growers. The ones Katherine sent me seem more active now and look like they might be getting ready to split. If you can find some give them a go 👍🏻 Thank you for watching and commenting as always my friend. Have a wonderful day and upcoming weekend from Edith & myself to you and Deb 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜

That's so sweet of Claire 😀 Great germination and good luck with them. Just thinking, would you be able please to show the tent from outside how it looks in the room?
Thank you so much, Magda 😊 Yeah I can possibly do that for the next update video, it does take up quite a bit of room though haha. Thank you for watching and commenting as always. Have a wonderful day and weekend from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Thank you 😊 The light is roughly 20 inches above the seedlings, of course that does vary a little depending on the height of them. The brightness is currently set at 70% as well. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
How cute those seedlings look😻👌and you got a great germination rate👏👏💯! So generous from Claire🥰, good seeds for sure. I'm still in my first year of learning to cultivate Lithops but I haven't kill none of them😅, they're difficult in my hot and humid climate, they thrive without any water at all and I have to be very careful whenever I decide to give them a drop of rain🙈. Good luck for those beautiful babies🙏🤞🍀✨😘!
Thank you so much, Vanesa 😊 So far so good with these, I’m not expecting all of them to survive but hopefully a lot of them will. Good luck with yours as well. Thank you for watching and commenting as always. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Very healthy seelings there Daz, I sowed some on the 6th and yours are noticeably bigger. 100% germination rate is pretty common in Mesembs but so is damping off so I would keep an eye on the white fluffy stuff (doesn't look like botrytis though), maybe give them a spray with Fungus Clear if you're concerned. You may find the Mesemb Study Group worth checking out :) Best wishes to you and Edith. Andy.
Thank you so much, Andrew 😊 Since recording this video and now the pot is unsealed that fuzzy stuff has died off, so no worries there. Cheers for the recommendation of the Mesemb Study Group, I’ll definitely check that out 👍🏻 Cheers for watching and commenting, have a wonderful evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
Hi daz this was a great video for me. I’ve just taken my lithop seeds out the pod other day. Quick question, did you leave that pot in the tray of water until they germinated? Thank you. Fantastic growth already 👏💚🌱
Hi Tracy. No don’t leave the pot in the tray of water, just long enough for the substrate to soak all the way through, sow the seeds then remove it from the tray of water. Good luck with your Lithops, hope lots germinate for you 😊 Thank you for watching and commenting, have a wonderful evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜
@@Cactimania ah thank you. I’ve grown tons of lithops. After about a month they all get green algae and die 🙈. I’m going to try your substrate before plant these ones. Would love a update on these. Thank you and much love to you & Edith 🤗🌵🌱🍀
Hi im now germinating my lithops seeds, i sowed them 3 days ago and when i check from outside without opening the cover, looks like they have white small bugs inside, im too afraid to open the cover or spray some pesticide on them.. what do i do? Please help
Yes I have a few other videos on the channel showing these. I’ll do another soon as they need repotting now. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
I just receive my seed today, it looks so tiny, don't ever try to sneeze with this. Btw, I haven't get any topping for lithops, I only have peat moss, can I instead use perlite and leca clay first, must I need to get the lava rock and pumice for this
You can pretty much use any substrate for sowing the seeds. With Lithops I think it’s a good idea to use small particle sized substrates though, as the seeds are tiny. You don’t have to use lava rock or pumice. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Not very often. I’ve been watering these maybe once every couple of weeks, but now they’re older and bigger and go through their splitting phase they can sometimes go a good month without water. Less is best when it comes to Lithops. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜
Hello bud :) i have seen all your sowing videos and newer seen you use Perlite. Is there a reason for this? I always use perlite becouse it is so cheap, and actualy thought it was the golden standard these days. I switch to Pumice when i repot the seedlings though. Best regards from Denmark :)!
I've never been a fan of it. Don't like that it can work its way to the surface of a pot after watering as it's so light. There have been a few studies done on it and the dust from it can be carcinogenic. There's even evidence to suggest that over time it can turn the soil toxic and be detrimental to plants. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
@@Cactimania Uff i see, that dosent sound to good after all, think i will order more pumice ^^ The dust from it is def nasty, i can feel it in my lungs :x Thank you brother!

That doesn’t sound good. If they’re springtails they won’t be an issue, but if it’s mealybug then you have a problem. If they’ve been sealed then it’s unlikely mealybugs got in, so it’s likely they are springtails that were already in the soil. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜
