"Sit down, I dont like it when you stand!"
I had tears in my eyes when I heard that line. My late nana always said that to us. Whoever comes in the house, has to sit down, have a cup of tea, eat a little and then be on their ways. Nobody comes in my nanas house and leaves in haste. She even hated if we talked on the doorstep. "Come inside, have a sip of water and talk what you have to over a tea". Comfort and pampering was sorr of forced upon you when you were in her presence. I suppose it's quite common thousands of miles away with babushkas too. For a second I saw my nana in her.
Are you from balkan
Now I cried
Lovely comment and a pleasure to read. Thank you for posting it.
Yea Man i caught this line as well as you .despite of my grandma spoke with me in Belarusian just like this babuska. It doesn’t matter what is your languages you just feel the emotions. SHES A STEREOTYPE OF A GRANNY, gives lots of love, makes you eat everything, and has a big heart, what a lovely babushka
Exactly, like my long gone babushka, I loved her veeeery much, and still do!
Cheers from Serbia!
you mean "archetype"
Tal como as nossas avós na província
@@edfer81 não há maior amor do que o da uma avó
Bom ver outras pessoas que falam português aqui! abraços!
Oh this babushka, she makes me miss my grandmother so much. She was so similar, as soon as you came to her house, no matter what, it was always eat eat eat! And when you left, she would give us so much food to take home. I miss her so very much.
like mine , I miss her too
The old lady fills my heart with joy. She is an exact copy of my grandma in her attitude to treat guests!
“I cannot drink because I’m grandmother”.....KEEPS DRINKING 🤣
that was just sipping, to get mildy drunk they probably need 10 shots, tolerance built up over their whole lives drinking vodka
:v
Grannies are allowed to be slightly hypocritical.
THATS BABUSHKA FOR YOU СУКА!
That's what my grandad says, then its 2 drinks later and he's asleep in his chair
Top babushka quotes:
"DOES HE NOT KNOW WHAT AN EGG IS?"
"I WILL NOT DRINK BECAUSE I AM A BABUSHKA"
"SIT DOWN!
I DONT LIKE IT WHEN YOU STAND!"
YAAAASSSSS! 🤣🤣🤣
Omg i laughed sooooo hard at tha5 last part
When she shouted at neighbor.. It was hilarious 😂😂😂😂
My favorite was Bllrrrggghghhh
He probably falls a lot. Or he's always I her way haha
Just like all grannies everywhere. She makes you eat and tries to give you stuff when your journey home. Bless her.
I'm 31 and from lithuania. I remember a babushka living like this. She had a cow and some pigs. And chickens. I remember it all to be grown over by weeds. Old brokendown lada standing in the corner. Sheds with firewood and hay. And a agressive, barking dog chained to a pole. which growled if you look at it for too long.
I remember babushka to be very generous. And I promise she would give her last bit of bread to you. Eastern european babushkas are hardcore. The video takes me way back, to when I was 4-5 maybe.
Thank you for the work. I'm sure these religious people see you as an angel.
"Three is enough"
-"Quiet!! At home you will eat them" 😂😂

Glad to see grandma's will still make sure you are well fed wherever you are in the world
Belarussian and Indian grannies have something in common after all 😊
Imagine being 90 and living in the middle of nowhere, where you hardly see any face. A guy who stumbled upon you a month ago came back to you visit you with treats.
Very cool, they think god send him

Dam. Her parents must’ve been born around the 1890/1900s.
I was thinking about this lady when I heard Russian troops were in Chernobyl.
Same....
Same, this is upsetting
It's so great to hear her welcome you like the family you're a good man, and she called you her son. Great videos.
Bald is a genuinely nice guy, very rare on UA-cam these days
Very rare in general.
You guys Are very negative
very rare in day to day life, not only internet.
@@eilifhjermannlindblad567 What happened with reality, truth, whatever you want to call it... Funny that the negative vibe comes from you by saying that, maybe you dont realise. :)) Good day!
That is why he is not popular
12:27 "Я бачу, уродзе угадала" means "I think I probably recognized you"
14:07 she meant the brick oven (печь), not pepper )))
16:02 "I can tell I recognized you; a stranger wouldn't come to me"
16:46 "They set these lands on fire"
12:34 "Заходце у хату" - Come into the house
12:54 "Чаго это я не помню?" - why I don't remember

13:50 "Нет, ну это не красиво" - but it's not good (she wants to be hospitable)
15:54 She gave you eggs and said: "It's for coming to her" (she crossed and said "oh my god")

These videos make me so happy. I’m actually very depressed right now and today had been particular hard. I stumbled across your vids and it has been refreshing. Thank u!
truly one of the most wholesome videos on the internet. you’re an amazing person for all you did for them :’)
I love how she treated you like her own child.
Me too.
That's how the world used to be. Now it's just "YOU DO YOU"
I'm so deeply touched. This is what being human is all about.
Bald could be the Anthony Bourdain
Bald is basics
I agree with you
Yaaas!!❤️❤️
True..it really is.
Hey Bald! A new visit to the babushka and her child would be so awesome! We all want to see them again and I know you want it too 😉
He can’t, Russia has banned him from returning. I’m so sad these people will never see bald again
@@Duckkjr oh yeah, you're right, I totally forgot that 😭
I believe his not in russia, this is in Belarus. Unless they banned him in Belarus as well.
Out of all the episodes I watched this has to be my favourite one. Thanx mate.
