@@illuzzzionzz that kinda sucks. I'll never fully understand why they add/omit certain things from trims between CA and US. i noticed that the A-Spec in CA gets AUTO WINSHIELD WIPER, which is a big one for me, especially at this price (the US A-Spec, doesn't).
Love the interior lighting on this car. Thanks for the video. i do hate that the lighting didn't extend to the rear doors (other than the door handle). there shouold have been a matching light strip on the rear door. Seems incomplete without it ...
Nice! Just picked up a 22 A-spec. Beautiful car and nothing like the previous. Totally different experience and the low end torque got me good coming from the V6 TLX. This is more fun.

Glad to see amber LEDs on the taillights and that they added a separate strip in the front so it doesn't share the LED strip with the DRLs. Also props to you for adding brake light and reverse lights to the video. It might be better if you were standing at a distance from the back (to see both taillights and cycle through stepping on the brakes a few times.) Keep up the great work and appreciate the night reviews and beam pattern videos. It really satisfies us lighting geeks!
ASpec has gorgeous wheels. We took delivery of a 2021 TLX with tech and sh-awd last week. We’ve yet to see another on the road. How is it that no one is buying this excellent car?

The car looks really nice and sporty. The headlights are great, even better than the ones we reviewed of the Mercedes Benz. I could see well into the ditches and the low beams has a good height to them. Overall I would say that they are awesome, you wouldn't worry that they are not adaptive.
Just bought a TLX Tech SH- AWD (phantom blue with graystone interior ) and love it! The ambient lighting is so nice at night and gives a nice glow to the interior without it being distracting. Thanks for the video; I learned some new features on my car!

It's an awesome redesign inside and outside. I love the red seats. The cabin features are excellent and very entertaining. The engine should be V6 3.5 liter standard (only) Other than the Type-S. As for performance, I think it still falls behind the latest version of the RLX. I most definitely would add this to my list of considerations. Appreciate this entertaining night review Nolan.
The problem with the car is that it weighs 4k pounds. So that is why this engine is not suitable for this car. The type S will be where it is at but for that price, it might be a hard sale for people.
as a 2021 aspec tlx owner, i personally love this vehicle I've driven about 7500 KM on this car as of now and the driving experience is awesome next vehicle will be a porsche thats for sure but this vehicle bangs and its a beautiful interior also . I personally find the only cheap interior piece is the piece directly above the drive gauge cluster, the long piece is cheap and is made of a plastic material which makes it loud. it also moves a little too freely. its not the clip or anything, its just the way they produced this vehicle and installed this in the first place. other then that this car is awesome!!!
Man. Acura is the only brand name I drive. I got tl 2008 when I was single and then when I have kids. I got RDX 2014. Now I got tlx 2018. Thinking about trade in for tlx 2021.
I really wish Acura gave all the advanced package features on the A-spec so that the A-spec is the same plus the appearance. I want the power folding side mirrors, puddle lights, rain sensing wipers, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel with the A-spec look.
The car is underpowered, but I don't care. The AWD is great. It has very good technology and not to mention the cool factor of the exterior and interior. I picked up an A-Spec with 25k miles for $33k, and its a bargain despite its shortcomings.
I absolutely love my TLX! I have the grey and black and it's super sexy!! Good tip on the auto high beams. I didn't know how to turn it on. Any tips on auto wipers? I am still struggling to figure that out lol
My nephew has the 2021A spec in blue. Very nice car. I really like the speakers in the ceiling. They need a sub for more base. The Bridgestones really hinder the handling. Put some Michelin A/S 3 or 4's on that car, and it will really shine.
Forgot to mention the courtesy lights under the left/right mirrors that turns on along with the interior lights when it's senses the key fob as you walk up in lock position.
I just bought the Tiger Pearl one. Its just a dream drives like a dream has variable features you can drive in Comfort mode chill relaxed and cruising mode to Normal driving mode around town errands to Sport where the suspension gets stiff and the power really shifts up the power. the Sport + plus starts feeling like my CRX. For the Heavy weight it carries once your in Sport Mode it feels like your driving a sub 3000 lb car. The AWD has alot to do with this. The only thing is that you can launch it in D mode hold the Brake down full throttle down and then it will rev to 2000 RPM to give you a nice launch. Now I have not tried to launch it in Sport Manual Shift mode. Ill have to try that.
Literally my TLX lol. I stay getting compliments and stares from people! But, So far.. So good! The type S is the more performance version. This is a mixture of sport/luxury (Balanced) and can’t go wrong with reliability/ re-sale value for a long term car. Sure stinger/genesis has all the gimmick tech stuff, But this handles like a beast 💯

hey man,awesome review! this car is a tough one to recall ALL the goodies it comes with at least in "MY" case with the TLX-advance/tech/awd/glint-glossblk-metallic wheel pkg the car is a total keeper for me,just a quick note to help out other lookers/buyers out there on the advance w tech pkg(my car has both) yes the rearview mirror AND BOTH driver and passenger side mirrors ARE AUTO-DIMMING what a treat to have also for buyers the ambient lighting carries over back into the back doors with the same color-combo selected;what i love about the ambient lighting(ICONIC DRIVE)acura doesnt just allow one color but a combo of 2 diff colors a few might be the same like sport mode is all infared ambient lighting so same brite intense led-red just an example;but most of all the color-combos of iconic areas are diff colors vs only 1 color.its the best way i feel to explore lighting colors together and make it much much more interesting than just 1 color altho all the red in sport mode is something to see and drive with but there again looking at all the brite red at night may take a toll on ones eyes thats where the chang-up makes it beyond interesting for me esp switching to a cool blue and green mix which it has.got lost w the ambient lighting lol but yes ALL MIRRORS ARE AUTO-DIMMING on the advance w/ tech pkg for those that might not know.
All Advance models have every feature available offered with the 2.0T engine. It's not like you can buy the Advance trim and not get the features offered on the Tech trim package. Why doesn't the Integra have these color changing interior lights? Dude, the TLX 2.0L AWD would literally be the perfect car for me if it was offered in a six speed manual and the infotainment was touchscreen - am I the only one? ... that touch-pad would be the perfect place for the six-speed gear box!
The exact same set up interior-wise of the '19 RDX A-Spect. My wife has the '19 RDX A-Spect, I have the '19 TLX A-Spect. One thing I don't like about the '21 TLX A-Spect, is I dislike that big ass dynamic mode knob. Unlike the '19 TLX A-Spect, they should have kept the button, next to gear shift.
I was cross-shopping this with a Stinger. I choose the Stinger. The engine in this TLX does not cut it for me. Type S would probably be the way to go but was not looking to pay close to 60k out the door for a Type S

I’m not a brand snob and I’m not going to spend 50k for a car that only checks half of the boxes for me. Acura is a bargain luxury brand if we want to get specific. Audi, BMW, and Mercedes are top of the line. Acura is tiptoeing in that mainstream market to me. Everyone has their own opinion on these cars. Does not make me right or you wrong at the end of the day. I just commented and said what I decided to go with.
just got home from a test drive of one in gray, got to say they white on black contrast looks better in my opinion, decided to wait till my 21st birthday to pick one of these up used with 20-40k miles & a bit cheaper. Cant wait for mine.

Just got the 2021 TLX A Spec AWD and I can honestly say its not as slow as people think. If you want it quicker, put a bigger turbo on it

the thing is, the TLX and RDX are around the same price range, i went with the RDX A-spec all-wheel drive cause it offered a little more utility.

@@chigasaki06 Genesis and Kia beat this in several areas, but handling isn't one of them. TLX's claim to fame is the SH-AWD.
