      You can make it. You just have to work smart, hard and be consistent. Discipline is the key. Discipline keeps you going when motivation has worn off. You got this. Go for it with everything you have inside of you. You are a special kind of beast. No one has seen it yet but it is inside of you. Release it. On everyone. Beast do not fear anything or anyone!!!

      My brother is 5’5, and he was invited on the national team and to a D1 team when he was a sophomore. If he didn’t quit (wasn’t his passion) I’m sure he would have gotten even further. You got this king

    What do you recommend to do for school team workouts? I have team workouts Monday through Thursday

    • @keithpoitierperformance
      @keithpoitierperformance  2 роки тому +2

      If you have school team workouts, use that as your skills or weight lifting session. Do over due it with your body. But if you don’t feel you’re getting enough out of the team training, do 10-20 minutes a day of whatever it is you feel your missing

    good video man. Could you ask me a question? I was thinking of fitting plyos into my routine, how do you think it would be a good fit?
    Monday: Upper Body
    Tuesday: Lower Body
    Wednesday: Mobility and shooting session
    Thursday: Upper Body
    Friday: Lower Body
    Saturday: Rest
    Sunday: Mobility and shooting session
    On upper body days in basketball training I do a more resistance oriented workout, sprints and trampoline, and on lower body days I focus more on skills, dribbling, shooting
    Where do you recommend putting the plyos?

      I haven't tried it, as I'm actually a trainer and not playing basketball lol, but this seems to overwork imo. If you're doing weighted training 4 days during the week, I see little reason to add bodyweight workouts before school and plyo after everyday. This seems like an offseason schedule, and I think it'd be better to replace Tuesday or thursday with being plyo and skill.
